LIZARD : CGI or REAL?

ladies and gentlemen is this lizard the end? is he the one last comic 2 film spidey villian on the big screen? what about venom? and kraven? and mysterio? WHO WAS THE IDIOT WHO THOUGHT LIZARD IS THE STAPLER TO END THE VILLIANS. he's not the biggest villian in the comics..... to me that job goes to venom. if i mwas makin this movie venom would be the last villian to make the best spiderman film. it would be a dog eat dog movie with a cool space ship crash scene. and will the lizard be a cgi "hulk" copy with a tail or a real dude in a big dinosaur costume. the third movie is dead to me until venom comes back. venom we hope one day u will be on the big screen but for now a mini- dinosaur is in front of u. good luck!

I think the venom story is great, but i dont think the one film will do him justice. I also dont feel that venom ties in with what sam raimi is trying to show in his trilogy, the themes behind him and what he and the symbiote suit represents to peter dont gel with what the first two are saying.

You've one of three villains you can pick from for thenext movie. Heck, you can do a combo of two of them of them if you want. But here are three choices:
Lizard: Conners has been itroduced, and the next movie can shw his want for a new arm.
Venom: they've introduced Jameson, and he can have the symbiote instead of Eddie, who has not been introduced.
GReen Goblin/ Hobgoblin: Harry has found the Goblin's hoard. I think they should go ahead and make him Hobgoblin, as it would be rather redundant to have Two Green Goblins. However, I could see two goblins being done, as it would scare the Hell out of Spidey to see a villain he saw die come back.

This next spiderman film will be then end of an era. Raimi, Maguire, and Dunst have all stated it to be their last one and wheels have been set in motion for the finale. Raimi has given the trilogy a human focus with the balance of love between peter and mary jane (a factor which still needs resolution after THAT final shot) and the bittering between two friends (with Harry making THAT discovery).

They have to use the goblin...its integral to Harrys story arc, its the direction his characters been going all along.

Lizard, is a very weak character, but could be manipulated by Harry. He may even use a little of the serum as well, giving us a monstrous hobgoblin...(a huge improvement on the Power Ranger suit that fought spidey in the first).

Venom is too big, but i can see how John Jameson may now have a grudge against peter.

Harry is going to have to be the main villain, he needs a secondary. Maybe harry and venom could work, but venom needs a trilogy of his own.

These films work because they have a deep drama to them, venom would push the franchise in the direction of super hero action special effects extravaganza. Its going to be out of Raimis hands by then.

it would be good to get eddie brock in the game, but to cram the whole origin of venom into one film would be a bad move. building up eddie brock for one film, then unleashing venom, is possible. everyone jumped up and said venom would be the villain when we learned about the 3rd movie, but no one took into consideration the length of the origin and must-needed quality of the character.

Well from what DarrenJSeeley said on another thread it seems like it might happen (That Church would be playing the lizard when transformed and Dr.Conners being another actor from Spidey 2).

I like the idea and this mostly goes to the point where Lizard might be a mix of cgi and make-up (well doc ock was cgi too in some scenes). Well mostly will be make-up work and I hope the ripped scientist coat will still be on him too. Even thought this is still a theory it sounds cooler than the sandman theory really and might actually work better too.
