Ahh That Triumph
This is an early update.
Just a quick UIR to get things moveing
Gunwitch by loserkid292:
Very sloppy cut job, also the text is that clear to read especially the Silent Yet Deadly. A little more effort in to cleaning this up would have done wonders.

Ultimate Spiderman Coloured by localhero:
Another fine piece, the Spider up top looks good and the Ultimate. Theres a few pixle size spots on spidey though that seem to have been missed.

Tears Of Heroes by HELEN~:
Nice, the tear is a bit big.

new comic hero by Ed Cheng:
Theres a few thing you could have done better. One area like the head on the star on the belt that you could have blended in with the body better. Also you could have made the hands the same skin color. Its pretty good concept idea though.

Superman Teaser Poster 2 by Zortech Industrial:
I like it better than the other one. The Kryptonian (ia that the correct word?) in the "S" is hard to make out either a much darker or lighter color should have been used to make it more visible

Brand New Legs by devilbunny:
That is creepy looking. I would love to see this version of the little mermaid, I think small children would have nightmares though. Again great job.

Title: Thom As The Prime Director by StatXero:
Nice job, in your art notes I think you ment MIA, correct me if I am assuming wrong.

Ian Somerhalder Is Jean Grey From X-men: Evolution by Super Max:
Not bad.

wolverine and his wolf by dark angel;
Nice drawing

New Yasmine by rayray2021:
Its the gold that you lose points off for. What program are you using that you cant make changes once close why cant you just reopen?

Hobby Goblin by incredible_bob;
I like your drawing they are a bit kid like but its a different look on the heros/villins, reminds me of the small one or two fram comic strips that appear in Wizard every so often

Daredevil & The Little Wise Guys by Laserskater:
The Daredevil looks pretty good, but the two little wise guys in the middle have some very unaturaly wrinkled.

A Dawning Light by Spiderman620815:
Looks good.

Evolution Rogue by catseye:
Nice job on the white stripe, some people have trouble with it. Would have been more evolution like if you added the costume or the never changing wordrobe. Still a nice job though.

WONDER WOMAN by ROB SPARKS;
Very good. My own painting abilities are not that great, it gets a bit frustrating there really isnt a eraser. So this impresses me great job.

I am using Microsoft Photo Draw. Once you close it, you can't make changes to stuff you've already added. It's like the picture was like what you made it in the first place. I would love to make the gold perfect, but until I get a more advanced program to work with, I do my best.

man that really suxs. if you can't spend the big time money on the full version of photoshop go for the LE version for $99. You've got skills and learning photoshop would really help your manips as well as a possible career in graphics.

Oi, the first day of the new shift. My life knows pain.

But then, it also knows being awake at a reasonable hour, now, doesn't it? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

Gunwitch by loserkid292:

Suggestion: try playing with the blur or smudge tools or something to smooth though out the edges of the bits you've cut and pasted, perhaps.

Ultimate Spiderman Coloured by localhero:

Very nice coloring job. You redid the logo? Neat. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

TEARS OF HEROES by HELEN~:

Simple but evocative. That's really about all I can say on this piece.

Brand New Legs by devilbunny:

*stares in open admiration* *swoons* To echo the statements made above. Wow. This piece makes me happy. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif (It helps that I dig mermaids, and the original Anderson story most of all)

Title: Thom as the Prime Director by StatXero:

Heh. Neat.

Ian Somerhalder is Jean Grey from X-men: Evolution by Super Max:

Erm... You've made Jean a male? Okay. A bit painty, over all, but mattes to the background nicely.

wolverine and his wolf by dark angel:

No art notes, no review.

New Yasmine by rayray2021:

Man. If you can do that with Photo Draw, then we've GOT to get you Photoshop. There'd be no stopping you.

Hobby Goblin by incredible_bob:

Nice! Very saturday morning cartoonish. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

Daredevil & The Little Wise Guys by Laserskater:

You've always got the most interesting comic-history lessons in your manips. I so dig them. Very nice! http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

A Dawning Light by Spiderman620815:

Don't worry about us complaining, here, I should think. This looks like the cover of a film magazine, or TV guide, or the like. It could be used for a focus issue, or something similar.

Evolution Rogue by catseye:

Ever since my Allison Hannigan fantasy was shattered by the fact that she's attached, I haven't been able to look at any photos of her in the same manner. This, however, is, as you say, a really good picture for an X:Evo Rogue. Well done.

WONDER WOMAN by ROB SPARKS:

Oil on canvas? You, sir, deserve praise for that. *gives it* I say well done, sir.

And that's it for me.

Oooh what a bliss! Just saw the photo of Pearlman in full Hellboy makeup. I think I'll faint now. Okay, here's the uir:

Gunwitch by loserkid292
Your layout here is pretty cool, but those edges need some serious blurring. Adjusting the colours of the city to fit the mood and the lighting would also help. Or heck, I dunno, it wouldn't help the fact that it's cut and paste.

Ultimate Spiderman Coloured by localhero Pretty cool, but I'm not sure the red parts of his costume work. Mayde adding a darker shade of red for the shadows? Very nice job with the logo.

TEARS OF HEROES by HELEN~
Exactly what have you done here? Simply adding the text and a teardrop doesn't quite do it for me.

new comic hero by Ed Cheng
Nice. The blue leg is very blurred though. Did you make this from an action figure?

Superman teaser poster 2 by Zortech Industrial it's a good start but it needs something. A neaty lighting effect or suff like that. Like in the X-men teaser posters. I liked the black version more by the way, but that's just me being all gloomy and doomy again...

Brand New Legs by devilbunny
Goddamn you. Your style is very close to the way I would like my drawings to look, you can actually colour stuff digitally, and then you have to be a looker too. I would really like this pic if I wasn't too busy being envious.

[/b]Title: Thom as the Prime Director by StatXero[/b] Funny. This series just rocks. Gotta say that yesterday's fridge raider was the funniest thing in a while.

Ian Somerhalder is Jean Grey from X-men: Evolution by Super Max Dude, she's a man! Well, no complaints about that, chicks are boring anyway *grin*. Good to see you making costumes. This needs work but it's a good start. Nice lighting fx.

wolverine and his wolf by dark angel
Kool style, I like it. What this pic needs is good solid inking to make it really stand out.

New Yasmine by rayray2021
I've never used Photo Draw, but it sure sounds sucky. You've got to get photoshop. Use theft, murder, blackmail or anything that could get your hands to this wonderful software. Good manip anyway.

Okay, I'm stopping here because I suspect that my computer is about to crash. Don't you just love Windows?? Don't you just want to bear children to Bill Gates?? Well I sure don't. I'll be back.

Ok, the title rocks dude, Viva LA Triumph!

And on a side note, that Daredevil Pic in the DCG today rocks! I thaught I was the only one who remembered that version!!! YES!!!

Aaaand we're baaack!

Hobby Goblin by incredible_bob
Oh, what an adorable little goblin! *loves little goblins* And that glider! Lol!

Daredevil & The Little Wise Guys by Laserskater Great job with his costume, but the kiddies look a bit cut&paste...

A Dawning Light by Spiderman620815
Looks nice. But that is always the case with Alex Ross art, isn't it?

Evolution Rogue by catseye
Looking good, no complaints. Though I'm not sure what you have done here, except for recolouring her hair. Some artnotes on how you did this would help.

WONDER WOMAN by ROB SPARKS
Awesome as usual.

guess i'll do a uir for the day i missed.

gunwitch: clean up those edges. text is terrible, very hard to read. do you even think to consider that that bottom text is unreadable? i see in your art notes it's supposed to say silent yet deadly, you know what, if you have to point that out that should be a good hint to maybe rethink the text.

ultimate spider colored: wow very nice. the neck muscles are nice. the eyes are very well done, kinda gets that reflective look. very impressive for just over an hour of work.

tears of heroes: simple and effective. maybe try to mask cap in next time.

new comic hero: what, it's just an action figure with some dudes head on it. please, art notes. i have no problem with what you do here, but your art notes on your works like these are EXTREMELY lacking. it's very hard to tell what you actually did to this, except for the head and paint blobs.

superman teaser: that gradient is a little rough. i can see color bars. smooth out the gradient and that would be solved. the logo, i just don't dig....i think just stay with tradition and with what has worked for decades. that's why they gave him back his original powers. simple concept, i could see it as a poster, just needs a little more touch up.

brand new legs: those are new? spooky. wow, as always great work.

jean grey: and again, blend your highlights and shadows. hair is too painty.

wolverine and his wolf: i like this one better than your colored pic of wolvie. stance seems a little more natural, except for the left arm, it looks broken.

yasmine: get photoshop or something. thought about doing anyother characters, it seems you have mastered WW.

hobby goblin: this guy is adorable. really nice look and approach with the character.

daredevil: man, where do you get this stuff? your powers of recollection are amazing.

a dawning light: okay the blending of images is fine, very well done. your text gets hurt when it hits white spots. for example the word "beginning" is lost. a drop shadow would likely fix this. one thing i remember from graphics arts class, if you have text in an image, make sure it's legible.

rogue: nice job on the hair, not sure what else was done.

wonder woman: mmmmmm....how does that top stay on?!? anyway, nice work as always. beautiful to look at, that hair is a piece of art on it's own. great work.
