Ha Ha Clay Conan attacked the camera.
Now for a UIR all the way in to the Year 2000:
Toxic Avenger
by loserkid292:
YOu have some strong ideas kid you just have to clean up your pictures a bit more and you will be on your way to a higher level.
A Green Thumb
by joker21:
Her suit is very painty, try recoloring instead of painting. Nice idea witht he leaves, they too me are a bit big but then again it seems to fit well at the same time.
Meh I m weird though.
Joe Fixit - Grey Hulk
by localhero:
Very nice, you always have quality work.
Remy
by incredible_bob:
Great job, why are there bubbles?
Diana in Paradise
by Spiderman620815
http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/supereek.gif shes all nekkid, nice drawing.
A Mans View Of Pms Page 2
by avgs:
I still remain no comment.....
College Evolution: Rogue
by FLYIN' RYAN:
Nice concept, its a very blurry though and other than the few mistakes that only fans would notice its pretty good.
Blink
by TheFriendly2x4:
Small but sweet, good job
X-Men United
by jazzler46:
I guessing these were all gut out from scene to scene, but you did a exalent job blending them all together would make a good wall paper. The copy write from fox makes it questionable though.
Colossus
by Facelessman:
The progress on him looks good cant wait to see the finished product.
Triple H as Thor
by themadirishma:
Not bad, the shirt needs work, but in your notes ays you already relise that. Nice work on the lightening.
The birth of the Dark Phoenix
by Marcelo Gomes:
Magnificent, I think it would have been just as great with out the lil X-Men. With your idea for her birthday suit to be her unform Mystique gonna have a lot harder time getting logans attention.
JAMES MARSDEN as Original x-men cyclops
by superdan:
Very rough edges, and the costume lacks depths. With more work this could become a great piece
beast
by domino:
It is well done, but I am just not seeing the beast I know in it.
Two's Company
by rolly1000:
Veryy good. The girls face resembles Jennifer Garner to me a bit, huh huh anyone else??
Well done, I know my UIRs dont really provide any real good tech help, mostly cause I m far from being any typpe of a master myself and why give advise if your not sure of it your self. But I say what I see is either visually imperfect or just my own two cents. For me when my work is being revied some times someones two cents helps me veiw it in another light and make corrections on my own. I end with just two small tips that I have read while on the DCG boards.
1. What I have come to call the one day rule. When you finish a drawing dont submit it right away give it a day or more then take another look you might find something, if not then submit.
2.Art notes, some people wont review your work with out them.
Until next time.

No time for a proper review. I just saw Marcelo Gomes's Dark Phoenix and wanted to comment on it. It looks a fantastic picture and premise. I particularly like the idea of Phoenix as an almost elemental entity without any clothing. It is reminiscent of Fantastic Four #285 (I think), the "Like a Phoenix" issue in which it is explained there how Phoenix was actually another entity who took over Jean Grey and not Jean Grey having evolved herself. I have that issue somewhere at home but can't find it at the moment. Anyway, the nude look was the way the Phoenix entity was portrayed then, and was a way I've always been meaning to portray her myself at some future date in a "Like a Phoenix" recreation, but you beat me to it. Well done.
Of course, shame on you Marcelo for portraying Famke Janssen in her birthday suit, especially when she once said in an interview with Jonathan Ross (at the time of Goldeneye) how she never intends to pose nude!! Shame on me too for thinking she looks good this way in your picture. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

Hey Marcelo, just want to say that your new pic is great (though her head seems kinda funny). I love the flames effects all over her, but even more so, I like the idea (http://www.comics2film.com/DCG/DispArt.php3?f_id=11561&f_ssn=) http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif

toxic avenger: it's all about the edges. use the mop to clean them up. just for a stretch next time try doing the text yourself.
a green thumb: it's a green blob and her legs look amputated. this took you 15 minutes? cmon i can even add shading, lighting, cleaned edges, and such in 15 minutes. nice job of getting rid of the pool. don't feel the need to rush your work, i'm sure you could do so much better if you just took your time.
joe fixit: damn spiffy stuff here! nice work. the creases in the pants are a nice touch. nice work overall, no complaints. really nice detail to the suit. maybe a shadow next time just to show off.
remy: as always nice work. i'd love to see some art notes just to see what apps your using and maybe how you get from point a to point b.
diana in paradise: nice work. i definitely see passion. very thin waist line. maybe her hair could be more defined, still great work.
rogue: the white streak of the hair seems a tad painty. maybe smooth up the skin and the pixealtion of the image. nice concept though.
a mns view...: still early on, think i'll wait for the end of this series to be critical. your artwork is fine, story is what i'll input on.
blink: fairly simple, not much to add. nice job of getting rid of the cut cheek.
x2 united: not a bad first piece. nice compilation of images, they blend well. the x2 logo just seems there and looks kinda blobby, maybe you could have had wolverine blend in behind a little. nice first piece.
colossus: can't wait to see the photoshop version, nice sketch.
triple h as thor: puny hammer makes me laugh. capes not bad, shirt needs some work like you said, also connecting it to the shirt needs a little work as well.
birth of dark phoenix: pretty lady with a very psycho look. flames are great. her head seems a little too, i don't know, focused or stretched out towards the viewer. it's something, just can't tell what. nice concept with the flame costume. the body wrapped in fire is well done. cyke, wolvie, and storm could stand some brightening, their black suits really contrast them apart from the image. just amazing work here, hope to see more soon.
james marsden as original cyke: painty and pixelated. nice beam effect. focus more on blending the colors and avoiding the painted effect.
beast: what a pretty little kitty. i'd have to say though, this is great work done with a mouse. you need a tablet. nice fur effect, some parts a little smudgy but they are few and far between. nice work.
twos company: solid work as always. nice solid lines. this is a nice drawing of a woman, i'm not complaining. her left arm seems a little flat though. nice costume designs.

You know that’s probably your best picture yet, minus the typography.
Marcelo I really liked that image, I don’t think it’s one of your best but I’ve looked at it a lot today, I really like the flames. I was thinking about what kind of costume she’ll have in X3, and maybe it would work her being naked…

Just for the record, I wrote a really nice uir earlier today, but my computer crashed just when I was submitting it. Therefor I am too shocked to give any consrtuctive critisism. It's gonna be just senseless rambing as usual.
An Army Of One2 by calklais
Lol! Chuck Norris!!
Toxic Avenger by loserkid292
As usual, your concept is good, but I'd like to see something a bit more ambitious from you.
A Green Thumb by joker21
You did this in 15 minutes?? No, no, no, that will not do. You must spend weeks and weeks with one pic! Don't eat or sleep before the pic is finished!
Joe Fixit - Grey Hulk by localhero
Greaty. Nice suit. No complaints.
Remy by incredible_bob
Cool. I like your style. But perhaps a heavier shading would look better?
Diana In Paradise by Spiderman6208158/b]
Looks good, just wish I could see it bigger. The clothes and accessories on the front are a nice touch.
College Evolution: Rogue by FLYIN' RYAN Very nice. Looks a bit painty on places though. Did you make that glove?
[b]A Mans View Of Pms Page 2 by avgs
If it wasn't for my super x-ray heat vision, I would hardly be able to read the text at all.
Blink by TheFriendly2x4
"So you didn't have to do any difficult editing to give her pointed ears?" C'mon editing pointed ears is fun! You should give it a try.
X-men United by jazzler46
Cut 'n paste, but pretty cool. They're not all in the same lighting though.
Colossus by Facelessman
Great scetch.
Triple H As Thor by themadirishman
Ok, I get the current no tights trend in superhero movies but... jeans? I think you've done a fairly good job here, ecspecially with the lightnings.
The birth of the Dark Phoenix by Marcelo Gomes X3: Attack of the 50 ft. woman! Poor x-men. I love this. The flames look perfect and she is utterly insane. Wow.
James Marsden As Original X-men Cyclops by superdan Not bad btu clean up those edges. Your shading needs work as well.
beast by domino
Nice. I'm doing something pretty similar and found this link that deperceful posted on the Hints'N'Tips thread very helpful. http://div.dyndns.org/EK/tutorial/ Check out the fur tutorial and the wolf walkthrough. And why do you think we 15-year-olds have parents? So they could buy us vacom tablets!
Two's Company by rolly1000
Very nice. She does look like Garner a bit like the vampire:spider said.
