hey guys i just wanted to know how you blend images in photoshop6.0,i didnt learn photo shop so..some help here!!it would help a lot if you are more of a click on this,click on that.. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

There is a blend tool that looks like a tear drop. If you don't see it on the tool bar, look for a menu under the finger smudge tool. This allows you to blur stuff.
If you mean blend as in making a top image semi-transparent to let a bottom image show through, then do this: Make certain you are in RGB mode under the image menu. Paste the top picture over the bottom one. Choose show layers from the window menu. Set the opacity to 50% or whatever you want. Use the layer menu to merge the two pictures into one.

you lose pixels if you just do the opacity thing. The trick is to get the 2 pics on separate layers then add a mask(bottom of the Layers window). Then you can use either the gradient tool or the paint brush to take away areas or bring them back....thus you don't lose any pixels.

Masking, soft eraser, feathering selections are all very easy ways to accomplish this. I would do a search for masking in photshop, or creating a collage in photoshop and you'll prpbably get a few examples.
