Anyone have any EASY ways of blending fire (or anything that I could use fire in place of) with skin. Ya know, so it looks like there's fire coming out of the skin for an upcoming Human Torch pic. Thanks

well the problem is you use paint. your not going to have an easy time of blending or creating fire using paint.

what you need to do to blend fire is have a masking tool, or at the least a application that has the ability to soft erase. Just by looking around paint's features I just don't see it happening on a convincing scale.

If you want to do Torch I would concentrate more on a decent base pic that is clean and crisp, one that you won't have to resize.

If you want to try fire in paint, perhaps don't just put a pic of fire on a body, maybe try a subtle glow effect.

I agree with dperceful, flames will be hard to do in Paint, I suggest an upgrade. or at least get some program with a blend/blur option.

EXTREMELY useful tool, I still use it and paint, even though I also use Corel Photo Paint (5 and 9)
