no time for a full UIR, but I just had to compliment MankindRam on an excellent Samurai Jack pic. beautiful colors, nice lines, nice interpretation of Jack. Aku and the flames are really a nice touch. Samurai Jack is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. It has such beautiful and artistic animation that really stands out. Great work.
i'll uir later.

Hey, great picture Dperceful! It looks very well done. I think you've been watching too much CSI though, with these rather gruesome disections of anatomy. I can't see what else you wanted to do on it, but it looks pretty good as it is. I can't recognise it as Angelina Jolie in that picture, which isn't a bad thing at all.
Nice picture too by Strangefish, and also by Samurai Jack. Nice colouring job on the Hulk v Thing by Local Hero.
Namorita by Ed Cheng - the model's not bad for the part, but the costume looks rather painty.
Wave by Swingerbone - cool concept, and pretty good for a Poser base image. The only thing which looks slightly odd is the left hand for some reason. But an interesting design!

Yeah... that left hand was my concern... It doesn't look right from that angle, but that's the angle I needed for the headshot to match, and the action to play the way I wanted.
I was trying to make it look like her left hand was the one controlling the flow of the water she is riding, so it is contorted to basically mimic the water's motion... myabe I overthought it... but I tend to root things in such a way to make sese in a physical world... I prefer the hand controlling the water with a bit of kinetic feel to it rather than a flat, static hand that looks a tad cliche and you don't know exactly why it is where it is.
Thanks for the comments... I was really proud of how I was able to tweak it to minimize the 'Poser' work... just another try at utilizing Poser without being too obvious.
UIR later...

battle for beyond: nice rock texture effect on thing. coloring is really nice. background is really cool, nice grab.
justice league: cut and paste. nice job on the selections. i would go with a different text.
ice in leather: very stylized. interesting body shape, very lean...kinda reminds me of Aeon Flux artwork.
aquababe: it's changed hues, still very painty. nice addition of the fins. your power girl is my favorite.
namorita: actually not half bad for your work. lines are still rough and the shading is just to abrupt, but not bad.
monice belluci: nice work, no complaints.
wave: really doesn't look posery, godd work on that. the left hand is an issue, but i see that you already addressed that issue....i think it's the lighting that makes it look off.
doop: freaky. i've seen things like this in the men's restrooms. flush for gods sake!
death for a lady: really cool looking. i love those eyes. very smooth lines and just damn pretty. great work.
daredevil: interesting. would love to seen bullseye or another character. seems too red, i would toss in some black.
secret origins revealed: exactly when is the too much point?
cynical girl: face seems a little rough. nice job on the skirt and cape.
dark knight: cool. looks nice. his legs seem long cpmpared to the upper body, but then again i don't draw so i could be totally wrong.
samurai jack: again, really cool.
bobby and cecilia: nice job on the neck and sleeves. your lighting doesn't match up on ewan's face.

your work is always interesting. you have a diverse amount of artwork, ranging from manips to painting. really cool stuff and really nice to see your different skills. your work shows constant progression and experimentation, that is all the "shine" it needs my friend. keep up the great work.
