Isn't it 117?

I can't seem to post my UIR in the other UIR thread, so I'm going to post it here. Sorry, but I can't hang around here much longer. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/frown.gif

Everytime I try to post in the UIR, or even make a new thread, I get the following error message:
<B>

What's up with that?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Quickie UIR! Must go watch DVDs! http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif
~~ Parker's Portfolio Preview #2 ~~
Nice work on the angle. It adds a lot to the picture. The skyline looks really good, and thanks for the Art Notes. They're helpful! http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif
~~ Awk Awk ~~
I like how the bits you added in have the same amount of pixellation as the base pic. Very nicely done, but it lacks something. Possibly it needs a bit more, like more of a decent background, or something appropriate to the character. The image seems drastically cropped.
~~ storm 2 ~~
Nice colours, and the black is shaded beautifully. There are some issues with lighting and shadows, especially on her skin. For example, where the boots fall, there should be some sort of shadow cast on her skin. I mean, the cape casts a shadow at the top of her arm. Also, I think this image could use some strong blue highlights from the back lighting of the lightning. Her hair is gorgeous, her face is strong and I love that background (great colours). Well done!
~~ new x2 poster ~~
Nice layout. I like the order. Maybe make one for X3? I'd like to see what you come up with. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
~~ Mystique tricks Cyclops ~~
I like the layout, though I'd suggest moving Scott in front of Mystique, or maybe resizing him. He looks out of proportion compared to her. Nice job with the lighting.
~~ Professer Charlie's Angels ~~
The costuming isn't bad, but I'm not sure that the layout and the background works. Maybe if you'd gotten a picture of Charlie to stick in the background? Or a picture of the mansion, or the Danger Room or something a little less... woodsy?
~~ Superwoman ~~
o_O;; THANK YOU!!!
~~ Looking Back ~~
Pretty cool sketch. The shadows on his face are very effective. I'd love to see this tweaked just a little bit in Photoshop, or the like, so the lines are stronger and darker.
UIR Part 2
~~ Crazy Terra ~~
Great little scene! Wish I had time to UIR this properly. One thing that does jump out at me is that Anne's head doesn't match her body. It's too pixellated, and needs to be smoothed out a little more. Also, maybe whiten her eyes a little and give her some make-up to make her features stand out more? I like the over-all colours, though. Well done!
~~ Emma Frost ~~
I like the trippy techno colours. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif Nice job on the wrinkles. And I'm sure that suit can't stay up on hope and sheer will-power alone. I'm betting she's using the ol' duct tape trick...
~~ Bibleman ~~
Hmmm, interesting character. Thanks for the information. Nice job on the armour, too, and the cloak looks good.
~~ Dead Girl ~~
That is so darn cool! Marry me! Let our children have at least half your talent! Though the logo is a bit bright and messy around the corners, I still love you... Moreso if you're a Canadian citizen and I don't have to wait another two years to get my passport. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/flash.gif What programme did you say you used?
~~ f4:Johnny again ~~
Really lovely. The flames look gorgeous. I'd love to see some hint of his face, though.
~~ The Horror! ~~
Ha ha! I love the picture of Bullseye and Kingpin in the background. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
~~ Vision Animated ~~
Welcome to the wonderful world of GIF animations. Addicting, aren't they? Nice transition. It's kinda creepy in parts.
~~ AoA Blink ~~
Nice recolour, though it's a leeettle messy here and there, especially along the hairline and at the back of the head. After you merge all the layers down, try running a small blending tool (blur, blend or smudge) along the seams to smoothen them out. Maybe try adding in her gloves and the neckline of her suit next time? That's a great base pic to work with, and I think I'd like to see you try to manip it into Blink again in a years time. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Done! Usual disclaimer here!
OK I really need to have some people to meet at the San Diego Comic Con cuz a lot of people in the group I'm going with hate me, isn't that great? I didn't know that. They are trying to keep me from going altogether! Anyone going?
Interesting, I may have a job interview in San Diego (crossing fingers). Is San Diego a nice place to live? I've never been out west.
Oh and when is the con and whats the usual admission fee? I've never been to one of those.
I would even upload a picture of myself into the C2F photo album if Robbo showed his whole face.
strangefish,
thanks for the compliments on the work. it was greatly appreciated on such a low UIR day. and your right, i think some form of adhesive would need to be used to keep that costume in place. i didn't really bother with a zipper on the bottom piece because, hell, they're basically just shorts. thanks again.
I am going to the con. I will be wearing a veil though, as is customary.
Actually, Kevin had a picture of me from last year's convention, with no mask or veil or anything else. Where is that picture, Kev?
Yeah...who else is going? We should at least arrange to meet on the floor at some point, if not to get together for breakfast or lunch or dinner or something.
I think you guys are trying to hide the fact that our beloved webmaster is really one of those creepy "Reapers" from Blade II. Yeah, clues are adding up now: the bald head, the sight of his face from the nose down causes people to cry and drink. And lets not forget those pints of blood I had to submit in order to become a member of C2F.
That's right, nobody pulls a fast one on this detective.
I thought we established that Robbo doesn't have a mouth? That he's just a brain in half a skull, floating in a tank of life-preserving fluid? The reason we get posts from him every now and again is because his spinal cord is attached to Zac's, and Robbo's every command becomes Zac's compulsion.
Or maybe, he's ALL OF THE ABOVE, ALL AT ONCE. o_O;; He's like ...
....whoa.....
Right.
Apart from that. I really feel like manipping and have no ideas. Anyone want to give me ideas?
Thanks for the explanation!
Now, talking about comics conventions, it's going to be one of it here, in Argentina, begining in july 9th. A small one, but enough to make comics and sci-fi fans get excited during Winter's vacations. But, you know? A friend of mine, close to the organization, went in contact with David Prowse (a.k.a. the man behind -or may I say inside- Darth Vader's mask). He answered my friend about his request for coming here (please, apologize my english), but the organization decline the idea of bring him here, because, for them, David Prowse is "The Invisible Man"...
COULD YOU GOD DAMN F*****NG BELIEVE IT?
Man, I envy you all... http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/frown.gif
