Only reviewing the 'Rise of the Machines' pieces right now, but I'll come back and do the rest later. Good work guys!
RotM: Bozo: You're certainly a strange one, MysticMorgan. But a strange one with true talent you are. I've never heard of this fella before, but geeez he sure looks funky. I love the metallic color you gave him. Only problem and it's the smallest nit pick in the world, is how the 'H' in 'Hugh Hazzard' isn't shaded, along with the rest of the comic. But thats nothing. Great job! A+
RotM: Ultron Recharged: No machine theme day is complete without Ultron, the king of the Evil Robots. Though I would've liked something more than a spiced-up bust, you did a very good job spicing him up. I like the red-glowing effects, and all the reflections on him.. Pretty bang up job! B+
RotM: Death to the Future: nice base pics, they seem to match up well, though, as you stated in your art notes, I can tell it was a little rushed. Just doesn't live up to some of your past manips. However, I love the concept, and it certainly does pull of a dark/creepy mood. C+

Well I said I would try and turn over a new leaf.. so here we go...
Rise of the Machines: Bozo - MysticMorgan: Very nice work as always. You got a great a real three dimensional feel going and the metal texture fits well. Nice work on cleaning up the cover althought the reds in the banner and the text box seem a bit strident compared to the rest of the pic.****
Rise of the Machines: Ultron Recharged - localhero: My little contribution. I didn't know what to do but wanted to take part, so this was the result. The base pic was a great pose and relatively clean (check it out (http://infinitybeyond.co.uk/en-us/UltronModified.jpg)) but had the bust had a base I didnt like.
Rise of the Machines: Death to the Future - ali786: Even if it was a bit rushed, it turned out pretty good. Reeve's face is a little pink though. At first glance I thought this was about Metallo, which I think is due to the absence of any text. Would have been nice to see some sort of logo.***
matri-x3 - roguephoenixomega: I like how this turned out and it works pretty well. Good choice of colors and nice work combining all the elements. This style of poster might indeed work for X3, although probably they would use GTAC (the letters used for the base pairs in DNA).****
Wolverine - Laughing Bear: A decent job on the coloring. The white on the yellow gives the right feel to the costume and muscles, but it doesn’t work so well on the blue though. Oh.. And I believe the term is "SNIKT!" **
Inhale? He did, i didn't! - Kombat Wombat: Not a patch on your Bush/Joker pic but funny all the same. While your Churchill/Penguin pic had a colorized film feel to it which worked (reminded me of those old Hitler home movies), Clinton's face here just looks to be suffering from jpeg artifacting. Perhaps a larger base pic (there should be plenty available) would let you clean it up more before applying your own noise or texture effects. Coin at the back instead of the Presidential Seal is a nice touch.**
The Cobra strikes - flavio silvestri: Well there is certainly a lot going on here. Nice clean lines generally, you have left a lot up to the colorist as far as lighting and shading the pic goes. As someone who enjoys coloring images, personally I prefer more direction from the pencils or inks as far as the mood of the pic.***
Enter the Bat - Count Enance: A nice misty and moody effect to this one. Would have liked to have seen slightly more definition to the cape (it kinda looks like a big lump). Also I would have brought out the symbol on his chest really bright for contrast. It is after all one of the most recognisable logo's in comics.***
Dark Phoenix 2 - Nefertari: Great Work. Each picture you submit shows definite improvement over the last and this is no exception. Hair looks very nice. You really have a talent for costuming. The wrinkles and creases are pretty much spot especially on the gloves. The belt looks nice although the black edge is a bit jarring. If you have a paint program that lets you use layers try doing your edges on different layers, this lets you alter the opacity for a softer feel. Altogether top work. Can't wait to see your next piece.
****
Bullets: GI Joe Competition Entry - coinbox: Guy on the left looks great, nice detailing and posture. Guy on the right seems a bit mishapen around the shoulders. Plenty of action though. The shading on the body is well done**
Eternal Enemies, A Changing Stage - Spiderman620815: Most definitely not your best work ever, it just doesn't seem to have the dynamism or clarity of your other drawings. The flag is a nice addition but it too looks a bit sloppy. You can do much better than this, let's see it http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif*
Summer's Here - Solid Snake: Nice drawing, most of the proportions look spot on, although something strange seems to be happening around the groin (her's not mine). The minimal shading works and the hair looks great.***
Black Falcon - jjmarriero: Holy swashbucklers!! This is nice with a capital ice http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif The contrast of the faded panels and the vibrant colours of the main subject works really well. Lot's of nice details. Good work.****
Rise of the Machines: Heart of Kryptonite - Darth_zaiyen: Good job blending the poser and terminator pics. Supe's hand in the front is a nice touch. The skin still looks a bit fake.. But given that its artificial, I guess that’s acceptable http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif***
Hulk Retry - Kwick22a: Is hulk wearing a 50s style ra-ra skirt? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif I'm not sure what is happening with the pants or what effect you were going for but it looks funny. Hulk himself however looks great, head's a bit big making the body look smaller than it should be (hulk always seems to have a smaller head proportionally than a normal person, I think this makes the body look even larger). Apart from that you did a great job blending all the pieces together. ****
Meggan Braddock - Psylockegirl: Hmmm a lot of strange things going on here. The patterns are a bit jarring and the edges all seem very rough. And what is happening with the head?? It just seems like all the pieces are struggling to break away from each other. I don't mean to be negative but again, I don't think this is your best work. The concept is good, but it needs a lot more attention to detail. Try and find base pics which are complementary to your subject. Be careful not to distort your images beyond what is possible for a human (or humanoid in this case) body.**
Remember.. don't shoot the messenger!

Rise Of The Machines: Bozo by MysticMorgan
Nice restoration. The shading on Bozo is great.
Rise Of The Machines: Ultron Recharged by localhero
Nice setting, exciting atmosphere.
Rise Of The Machines: Death To The Future by ali786
The split image makes it look like Superman is a Terminator. I would have liked to have seen the two heads facing each other. Otherwise, very nice.
Matri-x3 by roguephoenixomega
Interesting combination of franchises. I'd prefer to see the Phoenix image as part of an X3 only poster, though. I'd getting a little tired of that Matrix text.
Wolverine by LAUGHING BEAR
Nice coloring job, but if there's anything I hate more than the bone claws, it's the soul patch.
Inhale? He Did, I Didn't! by Kombat Wombat
The background is a little hard to make out – I assume it's a combination of the Presidential seal and Two Face's coin. I like the series; I hope there's more.
The Cobra Strikes by flavio silvestri
Boy, this really takes me back to my early days of comics, except you're much better than Mike Vosburg and Herb Trimpe. I hope to see this colored soon.
Enter The Bat by Count Enance
This pic reminds me that Year One would make a great movie. Unfortunately, I hear it's been shelved. Nice job.
Dark Phoenix 02 by Nefertari
Great job with the costume. I really like the wrinkles. The fire turned out well, too.
Bullets: Gi Joe Competition Entry by coinbox
Wow – another GI Joe. I guess this is who Flavio's Cobras were attacking.
Eternal Enemies, A Changing Stage by Spiderman620815
Not very good compared to some of your other stuff. The poses are too stiff and Luthor looks puny. Also your stars and stripes are all wrong.
Summer's Here by Solid Snake
Hubba, hubba. I may have to color this one.
Black Falcon by jjmarreiro
Very professional. Do you draw for a living?
Rise Of The Machines : Heart Of Kryptonite by Darth_zaiyen
Super effects, excellent layout. This could be a comic cover.
Hulk Retry by Kwick22a
Everything looks nice except the overt symmetry. There are ways besides shading to fix this. You could change the angle on one of the arms. Tilt an eyebrow. Curl a lip.
Meggan Braddock by Psylockegirl
It's nice to see Meggan again. There's a lot to like about this pic – the layout, colors, pose and effects. But there are also some obvious flaws. It looks like you have Photoshop so you can fix these if you try.
Clean up the edges of the figure. (There are quick ways to do this which I will tell you if you ask.) Put the texture back in the blurred part of the hair (clone tool). And reshape those perfectly straight lines on her clothes, they should contour with her body (spherize maybe.)

mysticmorgan: kinda reminds me of Big Guy and Rusty. very nice. I like the way he pops off the page. the rivets are a nice detail. very well done.
localhero: i loved reading avengers stories with ultron back in the day. nice job of intereacting the feet with the background. nice job of taking the time to match the beams on the body of ultron. the red glows nice as well. i totally dig that background.
ali786: nice for a rush job. i would do more of a subtle blend in the future rather than just BAM, human/cyborg.
matri-x3: crisp and clean. nice use of colors. i'm picturing a slight power glow around jean, a little more intense than the flames that surround her now.
wolverine: it's nice. i would scale it down in size a touch. the lighting on the blues is a little funky, i wouldn't go with a blurred out white for a high spot. the muscles don't really pop out to me, you've got the musccalture there, it just feels flat. nice bone work.
inhale: nothing wrong with just reading batman for a comic, it's a great one. nice addition on the coin in the background. i like what you got here, maybe have him flipping a coin.
the cobra strikes: COBRA!!!!!!! really nice work. i have no complaints...really cool looking.
enter the bat: i would clean up the gradient in the background, i can see the changes in hues. you could probably just toss a blur on it and layer it out. don't get me wrong, it's a real nice piece...the text is nice and spooky.
dark phoenix: i agree with localhero....your work is a constant progression. very good job. my only suggestion is on the sash, the hard black outline makes it appear to be not touching the body. just lighten it down and that would probably do it. for a mouse job on the phoenix logo you did very well. nice work.
bullets: lot's of action. i like it. maybe some more detail to snake eyes.
eternal enemies: nice smug look on luthor.
summer's here: boo....i mean, fantastic. nice work. very clean lines. maybe add a lip print on the pic for a finishing touch.
black falcon: sweet! what else can i say. really cool. i love the old look on the background images, nice layout of all the images. great work.
darth zaiyen: nice work. i really like the integration of the robot parts with the body, that is really cool looking. nice touch with the hand on the cape. spooky veins. really great work.
hulk retry: i found the best way to clean up the pic of the hulk you used is to do a copy of the original, flip it, and then layer mask out the dark part. look at my hulk day pic as an example

i hate saying look at my work, it sounds like i'm saying i can do a better job, and trust me i'm not saying that. it's just an alternate method of getting that look. nice bodywork. looks very good. i would soften up the light and shadow a touch. i would also wash the body in light since he has a spotlight on him. wow, nice work on the hair, i just noticed that. anyway, great work.
meggan braddock: this just seems very flat to me. no body contour on the shirt or pants. really nice colors. i can see where you were trying to go with this pic, i think a little more work with trying to contour the lines and your there.

I guess. But if a giant, angry, rampaging beast feels the need to question his sexual identity, then who are we to tell him he can't?
