Carry On? That's a British comedy series, right? I remember my dad saying he saw them back when he was over there or somewhere where they had some British people. Me, I prefer Red Dwarf and of course Monty Python. I've also been meaning to check out Black Adder. A friend of mine swears Rowin Atkinson is soooooooo much better as a bad guy.

Oh and DK, I forgot about the whole Metroid thing. Haven't played lately, but now I want jellyfish even more.

Oh and I knew there are some bio-luminescent jellyfish. Doubt i can find any as pets though since I belive they're deep in the sea.

And hey, is there any Metroid/Samus slash out there?

What is the name of that sitcom about a superhero? I caught some of it on public television and it looks like it was made for the BBC. From what I could tell the guy had a super-sensitive nose and he was an alien.

Black Adder was hilarious! The Elisabethian era was best, methinks. And that theme song was cool.
The League of gentlemen was pretty darn funny too.

I think it's called My Hero. I've seen it a caouple of times, but the schedule keeps changing.
Out of all the Blackadders I think I enjoyed the second one the best.
And as for Red Dwarf I hope they hurry up and get the movie made.

Hurm... sounds interesting. Wonder if i can find some online.

Used to get Red Dwarf online since it's easier than staying up like 1am Saturday waiting to check if the New Hampshire PBS station had it. Though now they got DVD boxes coming out. Got the first one. Though I think I still need to see The Red Green Show on PBS like that. Now there's an interesting show. It's like New Hampshire/Vermont/Maine comedy.

As for Fawlty Towers, yeah that rules too. Always liked Cleese. Discovered Python and Fawlty back in high schcool. Just don't mention the war.

Translation via AltaVista or something: "If the Nunstruck is git and Slotermeyer? Yes! Beiherhund the or the Flipperwaldt gersput!"

I guess most of the words were made up.

Yeah... I took 4 years of german... and that is gibberish. Parts of the words are germanic... but they just combined some syllables it looks like.

Weapon X

Oh well. All these years I just figured it probably translated into "Why did the chicken cross the road?" anyway...

You guys are not going to believe this! I am so shocked.

Something happened locally here yesterday that was pretty bad. We heard about it yesterday evening while we were out, someone said that two realtors had been shot, by a fellow realtor. I had the usual reaction, you know, the world sure is full of nuts.

Well, this morning, the details have come out and the shooter was our realtor! I am totally shocked, we spent lots of time with him, right in the office were he went nutso yesterday, shooting three people, two of which died, and eventually killing himself later in the evening. He was a nice man and he was very patient and calm. Believe me, I can be trying when it comes to house shopping, but he was patient and quiet.

Just the other day, we were talking about moving again, and Jason asked, would we go back to Ron? And I said Yeah, he was really good and kind to us, even tho we didn't have much money, etc.

This just blows my mind!

At least you aren't in a Dairy Queen parking lot, after hours, disco dancing to Like a Virgin by Madonna with your best friend while people drive by and look at you funny. Completely sober.

Good times.

Yeah I've had plenty of those times. I miss them!

One time, me and my best friend went into the main resturant in town (small town). It was late, we had gotten off work and wanted a burger to go. Normally in this resturant, I am very quiet because EVERYONE is looking at you at all times. Sometimes surrepitiously, most times not.

So they are taking a long time and we are waiting RIGHT in the front of the restutant at the little deli type bar. Something was said by one of us about maybe if we do a 'hamburger dance' (like a rain dance) we'd get our burger from the burger gods. SO I started doing an insane dance, pounding on the counter (like drums you know) and singing

"HEY I'm really hun-ger-y and
MAYBE if I do a dance
I'll get my ham-bur-ger...
Or maybe just-some-fries..."

It was totally insane. (you'd have to understand the size of the town and that she was the Judges daughter). Of course, we were NOT sober. But that's not why I was crazy. I was crazy because I was HUNGRY!

Like I am right now! dun dun!

I'm just waiting for one of you guys to come closer...closer...http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/mcvamp.gif

Another time, same friend, same parking lot. I walked up to DQ because I didn't have anything to do and when I got there he was feeling depressed over something. So he came outside (he was the assistant manager at the time) and we talked for awhile. Then we started stacking things.
We took a bunch of milk crates and built a massive tower in the middle of the parking lot. At one point we had to stack three picnic tables on top of each other so we could climb up and keep building the tower. By the time we were done it had to be something like twenty feet tall. Then we had to figure out what we were going to do with it.
First we thought about hitting it with a car, but we worried that it might break the windshield. Then we decided that one of us should tackle it. I don't remember exactly what happened after that so I think I was the one who did it.
I have a vague memory of later in the night of doing the beach ball dance in someone's living room, but I did that so often I could be thinking of another night.
