oh and i'm checking out medeval and traditional celtic music. I've rediscovered Mediaeval Baebes, who i first heard sampled by teh new agey techno group Delerium. Their ballads and music by itself is quite good. Also, I dug out my Patriot Games soundtrack and got a couple of the ballads off that and then looke dup toehr songs by Clannad.

Also.. Evan Rachel Wood... I like her. I've only really seen her on one ep of CSI. She's best known for that Now and Again show. Or maybe Once and Again. It's teh one I didn't watch with the guy who played Rocketeer. I did watch the supehero one with the actor who plays President Palmer on 24 and the girl from Welecome to the Dollhouse. Think that one was Now and Again.

Anyway... Evan Rachel Wood.. for some reaosn I like her. Plus I think she'd make a good character for a manip I've been meaning to make. Though the character is from an anime and is Japanese, gosh damn they don't look Asian. PLus she lived in Italy and.. n/m... you'll see.

I think I'd probably have to agree. Maybe she's too homely. Some girls look sexy fully clothed. Other girls you just want to tell them "Put your clothes back on and I'll buy you an ice cream". BTW, can anyone guess where that quote comes from and who says it?

Kreuk may not be sexy but I would never consider her to be "homely". She's cute, and maybe she's a little too cute. She's like "elf cute", and not in the LOTR movie kind of way. More like Elfquest or one of Santa's elves. That's not sexy at all.

You know how you can tell you've had too much sugar?

I was just sitting here, surfing the net and whatnot, then the words "Rock-em Sock-em Robots" popped in my head, and I started laughing like a maniac for like 5 mins.

It's not even funny...

I bet no one will care when I say this, but I burned a CD with all songs that have to do with waking up or the morning or such (Wake Up Wendy, Morning Has Broken, Maggie May, Daydream Believer, the Folger's Coffee theme, Good Morning Starshine, etc.) and I got my alarm clock to play the CD as the alarm, so I awake to people singing about waking up.

I'm so clever.

Hmmmm... I can jsut see it now, a sad and scary Iron Man theme day done by drunk DCGers. Any clue what alcaholic beverages are popular in Wales?

And while I didn't have that glass of wine with my meal at the Italian resteraunt, I oddly felt a little buzzed ealier.

Oh and speaking of fine tasting Italian.. um.. food. If someone asks you if you're a god, or if an Italian girlfriend asks to cook for you, you say YES! Guys, don't be an idiot and let a female companion and possible or current love interest get away if they offer to cook for you. This especially is true if they're Italian. I have learned this the hard way before. Now I think I know why I've had wine when I got to Italian resteraunts, especially the good ones that serve olive oil with the bread. Gosh damn, I love olive oil. So smooth yet spicey sometimes and... gosh damn I'm digressing into personal problems. Nevermind... neverwhere...

Indeed!

This is coming dangerously close to a topic!

Can't have that!

Instead, I'll tell you all about the woman who scared the hell out of me at a wedding.

She looks just like someone I went to High School with, you see. I mean, right down to the mark on her left shoulder. And the woman from HS moved to Pennsylvania when we were 19. This woman moved FROM Pennsylvania... although not until about 6 years ago...

It's weird. She's NOT that person, but she's so SIMILAR to her. It's like they were twins separated at birth or something... except that the one I met at the wedding is a year younger than me, and my friend wasn't.

Spooooky.

Hey, maybe you should try to get those two together. Maybe they actually were separated at birth. Those news magazine shows always have stories like that. I remember Dateline had a story about a guy who found out that he was adopted, and that his best friend for 20 years was actually his real life brother, and his work out partner was also his brother. And to top it all off, one of the women he dated when he was younger turned out to be his sister!

Know what's annoying?

When people stop their cars and roll down the window when you're walking down the street, and they look like they're gonna ask for directions, and then they just ask you if you have and Grey Poupon and drive away.

Either that or make catcalls... but then you can usually get them back because usually the people who do that are borrowing their moms minivans, haaah.

High school boys... *shakes fist*.

And that had nothing to do with anything, so there.

Guys, do you ever get that not so fresh feeling? No, not that one, men can't get that one. Anyway, why don't they make underwear to fit the male anatomy better, esepcially on thsoe hot sweaty days. Why don't they make one with a separate compartment for the um.. twig and one for the um.. berries. Think about it. You could even have different sizes for the outer compartment. I once said that about the Gatekeeper and Vince Clortho, Key Master of Gozer. Egon said it was a bad idea. Wait.. no, that wasn't me, that was Peter Venkeman.

Speaking of Ghostbusters, ever think about that, Keymaster and Gatekeeper. Ever think about the imagery and inuendo of lock and key?

Speaking of blatant hidden inuendo, I got the third and final FLCL dvd today with the box to put all 3 DVDs into. I forgot how much sexual overtones and issues about growing up and dating was put into that crazy show until I saw it again... with a certain someone. Gosh dammit it's not like we needed the added inuendo. I must subconciously remember all the underlyng inuendo and overtones. Dirty, dirty, unconscious id creature!

ANYWAY! If you get cartoon network, you MUST check out FLCL when it airs on Adult Swim on line August 2nd. I honestly cannot describe the show and do it justice. It's one of those indescribable shows that needs to be seen to be believed.

You know in I always used to wonder why would commandos ever want to go commando, ya know stuff could get caught in the zipper when they are in a rush. But now that I have my own camo suit I know that that isnt a issue there are no zippers just buttons. Correction, it's on August 4th at Midnight. It may be called under a number of names, FLCL, Furi Kuri, or Fooly Cooly. What ever they call it, I highly reccomend setting your VCRs for it.

It's listed here: link to Adult Swim Schedule (http://schedule.adultswim.com/servlet/ScheduleServlet?action=AS&theDate=8/4/03&timeZone=EST)
