gift4fun: i like the colors. nice skintones.

baroness: mmmmmmmmmm....baroness. nice painting, really superb work. i like the colors.

harley and ivy: nice job on the poison ivy recolor, same goes for the cameron diaz face recolor. all in all nice work.

lady victory: damn! i knew i attended the wrong college. lady victory teach me a lesson, heel i'll stay for detention or any after hours "tutoring." Anyway, nice manip, i like the layout and great before and after character.

always rejected witch: c'mon, lets be realistic...kids visit this site and if there is visible nipple or a hint of a camel toe, i would think essex wise to refuse it. don't get all bitchy. try matching up the shadow with the new outfit. nice manip though.

juggernaut: it definitely looks better with the new background.

the scarecrow: sigh. looks like a powder compact exploded in his face.

bruce banner: nice looking. i like the banner character alot. hulk looks good too, i just thinkg the banner character is better looking.

ff: nice compilation of images, the black background is a little plain.

finish later.....browser is not refreshing very quickly. i promise i'll finish.

Hate to play the favorites game again, but I have to also say "Damn, Welshcat!". Well, actually when I saw your pic today a genuine Keanu Reeves 'Whoa' came out of my mouth. Great picture, and I love the choice for your background image. The characters really look like they're about to come off the screen!

Would have to agree with the general consensus .. Welshcat has once again raised the bar for all us mere mortals.. we're not worthy!!

and DK.. I had a similar moment.. although the phrase I used was more of a reference to theological excreta...

"So let me fill my children's hearts, With heroes tales and hope it starts, A fire in them so deeds are done, With no vain sighs for moments gone."

firestorm: i agree i thought firstorm's costume was really great. you have done an excellent job here, great looking no complaints. great job on the fire.

archangel: not bad for your first manip. small pic so it's hard to make out the details.

ultimate jean: really good job. i like it. great drawing.

lovely liv: can't wait to see your work in photoshop.

bats for a friend: a doodle?!? you disgust me....a doodle. great work.

superman: maybe try a pic of the greek god atlas for the symbolism your going for. i like the costume, the noise didn't hurt is at all. sean's face seems a little muddy. still great work and concept.

you get your own personal uir Welshcat

elektra: obviosly there is a numerous amount of detail to this pic. so here we go.

bullseye: that was a poser figure, wow! nice texturing, that rubbery look is perfect (look at his ears folks, see there is an ear, not a blank spot an actual detailed ear...thats dedication. nice light hits on the costume, good muscalature. great wrinkles and slashes on the costume. i would bloody up the costume a little more, that's just me. really great work.

elektra: damn sweet silk! that is reall great looking silk. i like the details, the wrinkles, cuts, wavering fabric, etc. great job on the hair. nice work on the shiruken stuck in her arm. really great wok on the skin, it looks wonderful. the sweat beads are a nice overlooked touch. lighting on the body is perfect as well.

the enviroment: sweet background! that is a great background, really dramatic.

overall great work as always. i gotta finish up my dark knight returns pic that you inspired me to do (i've always been a fan of your epic battle manips so i though i would try my hand at it).

is this your first work in poser 5? just curious.

great job.....the benchmark for what an artist can achieve has been raised by you again.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and feedback. Just to answer a few questions here - yes it was my first picture in Poser 5. It took me a while to figure out where everything was, having used Poser 4 before which is quite different. Bullseye was just a standard Poser 5 figure (either Don or Mike, I can't remember) with the leather (yes, leather) texture from the new materials lab applied to him, one render in black, and then another in white, just to give him the basic Bullseye colours. Then I cut the black and white bits out to correspond with the costume. Because the light (dodged white bits) were a bit too harsh and jagged from Poser, I smoothed over it in Photoshop and redid the dodging to give it a more rubber look. Then i added the wrinkles, tears, utility belt and wrist things and other details and definition all in p-shop. Basically the Poser figure was just treated as a standard base image you'd find on the net.

I slightly twisted the angle of the background because it was just straight at first but it looked more dramatic this way.
I should've said this all in my art notes, but you just don't think of everything at the time of writing.

BTW, Dperceful, you think Elektra's okay in her bare feet? I just couldn't bring myself to put any boots on her.

Can't wait to see your Dark Knight returns picture. Hope it turns out great!
