After the episode as done, I felt like I was still waiting for something to happen!
No ****. That's called a "cliffhanger". :smirks:
Seriously, I got a good, "OH S***!" factor from this, always a good sign for a cliffhanger. I can't help but think that control crystal will do something. Carter did get it installed :D

No.. that ISN'T "called a cliff hanger". It's called a bad episode. NOTHING happend in the episode. NOTHING at ALL. Then in the last two minutes we get the beginning of the new war with the Ori armies!
I kept waiting for something to happen. And as soon as it DID the episode was OVER.
I hope part two is better written.
Well, to be fair it may be a bad first part of an episode. (I consider multi-parters to be one episode). However, it has me curious. The **** is hitting the fan, and I can't be sure what the resolution is. I think that was the intention.

Hey...they want you to stay tuned for next season. Next season is when the battle's gonna begin. They are going to make you wonder whether the Ori can be kicked out.

Wasn't spectacularly impressed, but I'll keep watching (though I'm worried I may be coasting from the previous seasons). I really like Ben Browder (though I miss his insanity from Farscape) and Claudia Black, and think that if anyone can keep the series going, they can.
Unfortunately, I feel like the whole "search for a superweapon to wipe out an enemy" has been done enough (the defeat of Anubis over Antarctica, the defeat of the Replicators, the ongoing testing to defeat the Wraith, etc.). Hopefully they'll be able to figure out a way to win without turning to an ultimate weapon.

Honestly, as an SG-1 fan since the beginning, I'm finding Browder and Black to be quite dull. It's kind of like the new kids in school that try a bit too hard to be funny or interesting, but instead wind up being annoying. Unfortunately, I think Sci-Fi feels sorry for these two actors and (again, unfortunately) that they're on SG-1 to stay.
As for the episode, it was so-so. Not the best season finale, but not the worst either.
