uir
sorry not alot of time. probably one sentence uirs today.
batman: i just don't see the western. did you draw this?
storm inked: i like the lightning and the blues. i would just like to see more.
excalibur: let's hope thats a bmaf cloud on cap britain. ;-)
hellboy: really impressive stuff. i like the design style. maybe a more interesting background.
star wars galaxies: nice job on bringing everything together. maybe add a shadow.
br redux: charlize looks too blurry. boreanaz is too orange.
desire: the eyes are hardly noticeable. if your going to do noticeable eyes work on finding a pic that is more of a face shot.
you stepped: ugh. elvis. never a fan, nice manip. i didn't know eradicator's weakness was jelly donuts, maybe that's why he died on the toilet.
zauriel worthington: what background it's just black, i assume your talking about the border, which looks good. i would bring the glow down on depp it looks to painty.
sorceress: what, it's a lens flare and fade in. more art notes would yield more of a critique.
dr doom: amazing paint work...better than i can do in photoshop. are you using a wacom tablet?
witch: nice work. the boobs worked out well....like the costume and the background. maybe a hex power signature?
quicksilver: painty.
daredevil and punisher: nice work. i think the coloring is fine is just seems a little muted...the reds seem toned down.
supergirl: as always nice work. i love the hair. not sure if i'm crazy about the kinda rubbery look to the top, but it looks good and is very convincing.
morph: you had to tell me it's matthew lillard, another celebrity that deserves to be shot. great work....love the way you handled the skin.

I've been UIRing THREE DAYS in a row! Woohoo! Yea for me. *does happy dance* I'm so proud of myself.
Batman In The West! by dark angel- The drawing is really nice, but the image appears rather flat. Adding some depth to the color contrast may help with that. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Storm Inked: Version 2 by AnonomissX- Hmm... I'm not sure which I like better. Oh well, I'll vote for Perot. (insert rim shot) Oh, you mean between the Storm pics? I can't choose! They both look cool!
Excalibur: The Omnipark by localhero- Bravo!!! I love this. You have to do one with Gambit next!
Hellboy by lordmesa- Kudos on a cool pic!
Star Wars Galaxies - Rookery Decarabas by WinterRose- The frankensteining of the arms looks difficult and very good. But the head looks huge! Is it supposed to? I love her pants! I want a pair! This character looks really interesting, too. I'd like to know more about her!
Br Redux by joker21- The skin tones don't match up well.
Desire by lenore_deloncre- Her outfit lacks depth and dimension. I'm guessing you had a really crappy paint program, because that's what my problem used to be. What program do you use? I could probably give you some better insight if I knew. Nice concept though!
You Stepped On My Red Suede Shoes Mama!!! by Kombat Wombat- LOL! Kick ass!
Zauriel Warrington by RemyBeaulieu- I love Johnny Depp. He's sooooo purty!
The Sorceress Supreme by Steve Trevor- The pic is cool and the caption funny. The lens flare looks like that part from the Little Mermaid when Ursula steals Ariel's voice. Don't ask me where I come up with these things.
Dr. Doom by Sonic1002- Is it just me or did the thumbnail remind you of the High Evolutionary from Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch's past? Ok, moving on, cool eyes!
Which Witch? by Miss Jellybrain- I'm not a fan of X-Men Evolution, but I am of this pic! I felt this was front page material. This tied with Kevin's for my favorite pic today! Good work!
Quicksilver by TheFlash2988- I'd desaturate the hair and don't be afraid to use that burn tool! http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Daredevil & Punisher by -FECK- I like. Nice pic!
Supergirl by ROB SPARKS- Wow! I can't believe this was done in oils!
Xu: Morph by kev_incal- Wow, Kevin! As always I am speechless at your work. I hate you as well because you make the rest of us look bad, lol. Just kidding I love ya. I LOVE the wrinkle on the forehead. Maybe you can tell me sometime how you make the yelowish gold. I've read Marcelo's tutorial, but I don't want that type of gold, but your type. I need to know your secrets!!! lol, AWESOME WORK!!!

MAJOR GRIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I have a gripe about the UIRs today. Only 2 people reviewed so far and our work wasn't even featured. I think that if your art is featured in the gallery you should at least review just that day. 16 people should be voicing their opinions and they aren't. I understand that things come up sometimes, but at the very least 10 people should respond. If you want feedback, you should give everyone else that same respect.

you have a valid point, but arguing does no good, at least thats been my experience. people put more time into a no topic than a UIR. and before someone gets all pissy, there is nothing wrong with that. my UIR today only took like 10 minutes, and for the most part they all generally run that much. so when someone says they don't have the time, that just gets me. you look at an image find something good and bad and write it up. you can even just drop in and just mention what stands out to you.
i'm sure people are tired of my views on work. my vision is not the same as yours or any other artist here. it would be nice to see some other views being posted.

Well, I intend to do more posting. After all I come in here everyday. The UIR's are had to post to because I have no experience in making these manips, though they are awesome.

Ok, some comments on the pics, as much as I can do......Here goes nothing.
Batman in the west: Rather blury around the edges...... Not much to go on there. Keep working.
Storm inked: Nice effects with the doubling. Nice ink work. What can I say, I'm still learning.
Excalibur: Now I am not a South Park fan, but this is cute. Good job localhero.
Star Wars: Very interesting. I am a Star Wars fan myself and think that the work was well made.
Desire: To Dark and yet Pale at the same time, Black and white on color, I don;t get it. But then I don't know the desire stuff anyway.
Red Suede Shoes: Elvis! OMGosh ths is cute. Kombat I miss you in the chatrooms, but the work you are doing here is great!
Zauril Warrington: Nice cover, like the fact that he is so cocky as to smoke a cig in angels wings.
Which Witch: I love the outfit and the hair, she looks almost like the X-men Evolution. Maybe if you tried it in Black with the Scarlet Coat.... Leather maybe?
Quicksilver: Sorry but I didn't like this one as much as I thought I would. The costume looks rather cartoonish and the hair is too blonde. Isn't Pietro supposed to have white hair?
Supergirl: Very beautiful.
Last Morph: I liked Morph in the comics, I really like him in this. Colors are Pure, lines are clean. A well done piece of art. Keep it up.

Whoa, hey now, I was going to write an UIR all the time! Really!
batman in the west! by dark angel
West as in Adam West, right? Well, I don't really find this picture all that inspiring. The drawing is good, but then again I've hardly ever seen Jim Lee draw anything too crappy. And I've seen better coloring from you.
Storm inked: version 2 by AnonomissX
I think I liked the other one better, this is too colorful for my personal taste. The actual drawing is really nice, and I like the fact that she looks pretty much like a normal woman, you don't really get much of that in comics these days.
Excalibur: The OmniPark by localhero
Hee! Great. They all look so cool. But I think this needs funny captions, everybody likes funny captions. Oh, and the background looks great too.
Hellboy by lordmesa
Wow. Now this here is really, really cool. The cartoonish style fits the character like a glowe and the coloring just kicks butt. Hellboy rules.
Star Wars Galaxies - Rookery DeCarabas by WinterRose
I can't believe it! I have a pair of shoes exactly like that! Ooh, and someone actually remembers the zeltrons? How about the nagai, anyone remember them? Ok, the review... That's some great frankensteining. The only cmplaint I have is that the head looks a bit too big.
BR Redux by joker21
Batman is orange... and I really liked Michelle better. But you've done a nice job putting the new faces on the places of the original faces. Yeah. Even though I liked the original faces better.
Desire by lenore_deloncre
The clothes look really flat, the edges are rough and the skin is just desaturated. These are very common beginners' mistakes and can be fixed with a little patience. God I sound like a git. I really like your layout and that frame-thing. Can't wait to see the rest of the endless.
You stepped on my red suede shoes mama!!! by Kombat Wombat
No! You're insane! Stooop! Lol. I really like this pic, even though it has that gawddamn evil lens flare.
Zauriel Warrington by RemyBeaulieu
Nice. The wings look a bit off though. But it has Johnny Depp.
The Sorceress Supreme by Steve Trevor
You know, when I'm thinking of a woman capable of seducing anyone (which, being a heterosexual, I don't do that often) Cher isn't the first person to come to mind. But to each their own. Ugh, a lens flare.
Dr. Doom by Sonic1002
Belongs to the 'simple, but effective' category. Definately.
My pic And now to respond to all of my fans (yeah right http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif ) Hex power signature? Yeah, I should do one of those. I've been avoiding lighting like a plague. Thanks for the comments, everyone. Both of you.
Quicksilver by TheFlash2988
The guy is a teensy bit too bulked up to be Quicksilver. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif The costume looks better that your previous costumes.
daredevil & punisher by -FECK
Wow, great pic. I actually like the coloring, so.... calm.
SUPERGIRL by ROB SPARKS
Ooo, shiny. I like the face. You always make me wish I could paint.
XU: Morph by kev_incal
That expression! Great! As well as the rest of the pic. As always.

Hey everyone! I didn't mean to yell or point fingers. I just wanted to give everyone a little nudge in the UIR direction. I mean I don't UIR all the time, but if I submit something I usually UIR a lot around that time. I understand if someone doesn't UIR once in awhile. Sometimes you submit a pic, and forget to go online one day and it's already become old news. I'm not arguing *nudges dperceful* I'm just making a statement. If you think that it's horse crap, that's fine with me, I'll speak no more. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif
*Screams from her rooftop* "I love everyone!"
