The official website for 'American Splendor' wants YOU to illustrate Harvey Pekar's American Splendor! Past illustrators have included Robert Crumb, now it's your chance!
We will be inviting visitors to submit illustrations for Harvey Pekar's stick figure story board ideas over a 9 week period. There will be 2 different stories over the 6 weeks, each one running for a 3 week period.
Run time for contest:
September 10 - October 22
Story run dates:
INSTANT GRATIFICATION (September 10 - October 1)
THE PREACHER (October 1 - October 22)
The submissions will be rated by other visitors to the site with an instant polling system which will score entries. The submission with the highest score will be posted on the official movie website and newsletter.
