Wow... whoda thunk I'd be starting a UIR?
Here goes:
Shadowcat Showerrom: Funny! I like this series. Lotsa Humour!
Batman Series: As a suggestion, how about evening out the palette of the poster so that the Joker doesn't stand out quite so much. Maybe desaturate a little, or recolourize on a different layer and reduce the transparancy so the colours are a little more muted... the composition is good, tho...
Arch/Angel: Nice! The composition is great. Maybe a little more sketchiness for the figures so that they match the wings a little more...
Bats: Looks great! Keep going!
75RPM Revenge: What can I say. Awesome! Cracked me up! Thank you!
Supergirl: Very nicely done! Hey, if you can't remember which hand is Frankensteined, you did your job right! I had to look close to see that they were the same hand. That was very well done! The redesign is sweet as well!
WWII: Not familiar with the characters, but this is a very nice piece. The colour palette is VERY fitting for the piece and the colouring is well done. The linework is first class as well!
Welling/Superman: Sweet! He looks very Superman-y, don't he? Nice work!
Hellboy: I can't wait to see your work inked and finished. The feet look a little small, but otherwise a solid piece
WonderGirl: Beautiful colouring job on this. I am hopeless at colouring, so I'm jealous!
Batman: I love this, I don't know why. Nice lines, nice weight... good pic.
arc wallpaper: Not sure what this is...
Supergirl: Gorgeous! Loving it... Well done. I'd love to see the Kingdom Come logo as well! Chuck it, up, baby!
The two 9-11 pieces: They sum it up perfectly. Thank you.

by localhero;
Ha Ha,...is he wareing anything?
Batman: THe Series
by joker21:
Bats looks nice but I still dont understand Jokers green teeth.
Angels
by loki:
Wow great poses, very movie poster like. Only thing that I suggest is making the wings on Angel look like they are connected to his body better, they look more like they are sitting on his back instead of being a part of it. (Make sense?)
Bats
by Undertow:
Great job, but his face looks weird.
75rpm revenge
by Kombat Wombat:
Have you sought out psychological help yet? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif Nicely done.
Portrait of Madness
by Sticks:
Hair needs some work but you know that. Usually I dislike poser images they always give off a creepy look, but with the Joker it fits really well I like it.
Portrait of Madness
by Sticks:
Whoa she has got to be sweating in that thing all rubber. Very nice work, great pose. some of the edges around her body could be smoothen out a bit so they dont stand out as well against the cape.
World War II: Scarlett and Arcee
by SydneyLecter:
Know idea who they are but great job, Transformers and G.I. Joe nifty.
Welling/Superman
by darksaber:
DOnt know where the spider-suit influence is but its is a very well done manip.
Hellboy
by Solid Snake:
Good shiiiii..... I mean stuff.
The Boys (and Girl) Are Back In Town - Wonder Girl
by MilleniumBum:
It looks great but I dont know could just be me but her heard looks big (anyone else?)
Also do you draw these on paper then scan/edit or all on the computer cause they are really good.
BATMAN
by KAZ:
I too like this he has a suddly different look to him and he looks like he is really wanting to go and hurt some one soon.
arc wallpaper
by tripsta:
Nice flames.
SUPERGIRL
by CEREAL KILLER:
Whats with the caps in your notes ThaT iS jUsT aS bAd As ThOsE PeOpLe ThAt TyPe LiKe ThIs. (that was surprisingly hard) Is she infected? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif her skin needs major clean up there are some great tut on that in the art school. If it was cleaned up I think it would look wonderful and if that infected look is what you wanted I dont like, thats just my thoughts though.

heh yeah i know, i actually did just whack them on. i think i said it in the art notes that the image was knid of unfinished, and was only a test for the costume theme day. i might re-submit it properly done.
thanks for your comments, a UIR to follow soon!

See what sort of mood i'm in.. (http://www.localhero.org.uk/journal/)
UIRing.... now:
SHADOWCAT
heh this is pretty funny, the only thing that doesn't sit right with me is the speech bubble. it might be a bit too big? otherwise, good stuff.
BATMAN: THE SERIES
nice concept, and i like the images you used. perhaps upping the amount of FEATHER when you're using hte masking tools to get a more graual "fade to black" effect.
BATS
nice mouse-drawn pic, no complaints. i'd like to see you try a scene or action shot using the mouse.
75RMP
lol this is really cool. i like the punchline, and the poster looks authentic. only suggestion is to put a release date and maybe some credits to make it look like a real movie poster.
PORTRAIT oF MADNESS
excellent work in poser, i can never get my head around that program. the hair looks fine, and good job with the colours and shadows.
SUPERBABE
the costume might be a little bright, and the boots are blurry. i think upping the contrast in the bckgounr image would make the vibrant colours of the costume feel more at home. nice costume and cape, btw!
SCARLET and ARCEE
absolutely amazing. nice, clean lines and colouring. the background works perfectly withthe foregrounding images. good stuff.
WELLING as SUPERMAN
nice costuming work. i gotta say though, the cotusme looks almost the same as the original superman ones.
HELLBOY
excellent sketch, i love the fact that you can still see the blue lines. try colouring it, but it looks ine just as it is. simple background, works well.
WONDERGIRL
i like the costume as well, trendy and practical. excellent colouring job. i'm not too sure about the background and verticle text, but other than that this is pretty cool.
BATMAN
nice drawing. kind of reminds me of old-style anime, with the jaggered edges and sharp lines. leave it aas black and white i reckon, looks good.
ARC WALLPAPER
apart from the size of the image, i liek it. the colours might be a bit too saturated, but it might be becasue of the file size compression. nice fire effect.
SUPERGIRL
kudos to localhero for designing this costume. i like what you've done with it Cereal Killer, and using it on a comic cover makes it even better. the white stip across the background is simple, but damn effective. good stuff!
i'd better get that essay started now..
