Aquaman is coming to the newly amalgamated CW Network. Filming of the pilot began this week.

What to make of it? Well, I didn't have very high hopes for Smallville. Personally I'm not a rabid fa but that show has obviously done quite well for itself. If done right, perhaps Aquaman can shine as well?

I guess I have a beef against Aquaman. I mean of all the lame people to actually make it into comic book history. He's like a pet store flunky with superpowers.

Yeah. I can call the cops and they come to my aid.

So what.

I can also win Rock, Scissors, Paper almost every time I try. That doesn't make me a superhero unless we are ever faced with a massive alien invasion...and we can get them to agree to a game of 2 out of 3.

Frankly ,I think Smallville(while gotten a little better over the years) is a completely overated Network executive's Danty fresh , Dawson's Creek tird stain on the mythos of Superman . . .

Well, looks like a preview of this was leaked to youtube.com. Actually looks REALLY good for a change....oh thats right, the new CW network appears to have dropped it from the 2006-07 schedule according to Variety magazine....oh well

You are not alone. I feel the same exact way about Aquaman. Just hearing the word "Aquaman" makes me see red. Don't know when exactly my hatred of Aquaman started, but it has grown steadily over the years and I can't quite explain why. I haven't watched the leaked preview yet, but I'm happy it wasn't picked up by CW. The Aquaman episode of Smallville was one of my least favorite. Aquaman...UGH. :dunno:
