sorry no time to do a full review, but I wanted to get the ball rolling, especially considering how few reviews we've been getting lately.
-daredevil by localhero
holy crap on a stick, that's freaking incredible. The amount of extra work you put in on this is awesome. I just wish I'd drawn a better picture for you. I'd love for you to send me the larger version.
-Stunning Woman by jjmarreiro
I love your style man, sooo so clean. This is my favorite stunning woman pic so far.
-The Black Queen by Nicely_Toasted
I like this picture a lot, mostly for the face. The body is so dark her arms blend into her body, it might just be the compression. Still wanted to give you props for taking a picture and maniping it to look very much like a comic. great style.
-Wicked trouble maker by cfogel
cool original work. the detail you put into the costume is tremendous, this is realy a great picture.
-HUSH pic by dark angel
nice inking, or psuedo inking as the case maybe, hard to tell without many notes. Still looks good. Only complaint is that batman's shoulders are a bit to low, making his neck and traps looks too elongated. luckily all that black on the right keeps drawing the focus off batman's left side. Looks good, and nice moon btw.
well that's it for now, hopefully I can get to the rest tomorrow night..

oh man, I messed up the year in the topic. can any of you big wigs fix that?
So, anyone even notice my absence? Don't have near enough time for art right now (though I'll try to get something in at some point, if I can), but here's a quick UIR to tide over my legions of fans. Well, my depleted reservist corps of fans. Okay, okay, my two centenarian Civil War veteran fans. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif
Kevin Newburn's Daredevil - Inked & Coloured by localhero
Very nice colouring, as usual, though a bit too grainy for my tastes.
Orson Welles Batman by ali786
The main part of the image could use some more elements. Bats looks a little lonely... (and the resultant image composition's not especially interesting) Still, well done.
Justice League Of Amazons! by Junfan
Quite awesome. This may be my favourite of your pieces, so far. I love the edges on the boots/straps/etc. Very realistic. I'm still not a huge fan of the lack of wrinkles and whatnot in your art, but then, who am I to complain about an artist's idiosyncratic style? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif
Women Of The X by Psylockegirl
I'm not sure about those hair dyes... And many of the colours seem too flat and uniform (ie, Rogue's eyes).
Ww Screen Test 2: Katina Baker by Captain Sigma
This could've used more time. The red and gold are rather flat and lifeless, and the former's quite messy.
Wonder Woman by darksaber
See what some more time and effort can do for your WW manip? Great work. Love the costuming. Only problem is the excessive lens flare-ness.
Stunning Woman by jjmarreiro
Very nice. I dig the old-fashioned style.
Geek-boy's Dream by Laserskater
... Well, I'm not sure that would be my dream if WW indeed had that kind of physique, but hey, that's just me. Objectively, the costuming is a bit off in spots (esp. the eagle--too uniform in colour--and belt--too dull), but it's generally quite well done.
Spidey by xpunkx1983
The actual image of Spidey is very good. Unfortunately, it's also really pixelated, and the perspective on the legs seems off. I think it could also benefit from having more gradation.
Vash The Stampede by SydneyLecter
Awesome! Vash is one of my handful of favourite anime characters, and this is easily one of the best fan drawings I've seen of him. The colouring's awesome too.
The Black Queen by Nicely_Toasted
Great stuff. The face is awesome, as is the portrait of Shaw in the background. I too really like the comic booky manip style, but it unfortunately only seems to show in the face and hair! And yes, the body's a bit too dark.
What If... by Undertow
So at how much does he retail? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif This is really good for something drawn by mouse... I think it might work better if it were a bit darker, though.
Wicked Trouble Maker by cfogel
Cool. I really like the design on the samurai costume. Great work.
Shazam! by KAZ
This is quiten nice. More detailed Art Notes would be useful, though... Is the body Frankensteined or from Alex Ross? I can't really tell. Oh, and his expression really doesn't work.
I Touch Myself by Daniel Zarco
http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/eek.gif Well. How did this get past the censors? Very well done but, uh, suggestive. At the very least.
Hush Pic 1 Of 3 by dark angel
Ah, someone else whose artistic talents make me green with envy. Really cool work. As Kev said, the shoulders are too low. Minor nit though.

Man, I've got to start sleeping at night. Oh well, time to UIR!
Kevin Newburn's Daredevil - Inked & Coloured
by localhero
That is a sweet coloring job. Excellent work.
Orson Welles Batman
by ali786
Except for the way his costume looks this is a good looking 1940’s style movie poster.
Justice League of Amazons!
by Junfan
Homina Homina Homina. Awoooga! Awoooga! Hubba Hubba. Mmmrowwrrr. Need I say more?
Women of the X
by Psylockegirl
Not bad, but its only their heads.
WW Screen Test 2: Katina Baker
by Captain Sigma
Why bother submitting a quick manip when it won’t be posted for a week?
Wonder Woman
by darksaber
Lens flares; the curse of digital photo software. Nice photomanipulation on Cat Bell.
Stunning Woman
by jjmarreiro
Very nice drawing but I think that belly button is too high up.
Spidey
by xpunkx1983
Done MS Paint? You must have ton of time and patience. Nice work.
Vash the Stampede
by SydneyLecter
I like your art a lot but I really don’t see that much Bradstreet in it.
The Black Queen
by Nicely_Toasted
Whoa, Jean’s been drinking milk. This has a great painted feel to it. Very nice.
What if...
by Undertow
Very cool artwork. I’m impressed by the fact that you can do so much with a mouse.
Wicked trouble maker
by cfogel
Okay, who are you?
SHAZAM!
by KAZ
I am 100% certain that Alex Ross was not looking at that particular picture of Evan Marriott’s face when he made that statement. Good grief. You should rename this image SH*TFACED! The Power Of Beer.
I touch myself
by Daniel Zarco
Halle Berry is going to sue this website one day, I just know it. Nice work though.
HUSH pic 1 of 3
by dark angel
Nice! I love the rough inks on this. They remind me of John Romita Jr’s work. However, I do have to agree with the previous posts about Batman’s shoulder being a bit low. Ironically, this was an image I was thinking about re-creating before I decided on that page in #611. BTW, I’m toying around with that Batman design of yours, trying to keep the same look of your design but make it a little realistic.

Daredevil by localhero -- Sweet color/inking job. Its really cool to see the different ways others work.
Orson Welles Batman by ali786 -- Cool idea. The minimalistic approach makes it seem like a 40s poster.
Justice League of Amazons by Junfan -- Cool Compilation pic. The color break edges and detailing edges on this are really nice. My fave is Cyborg. The only problem I have is that on some of the ladies you can still see nipples.
Women of the X by Psylockegirl -- There are parts of this pic I really like and parts of it that I think need a lot of work. I actually like the way Rogue's hair came out its a bit painty but the smoothness of her skin makes it work. The same can't be said of the hair on either Storm and Revanche. The light and shadow of Storm's is too harsh it looks like black straw to me and Revanche's is not only way too electric its not even finished. There is brown on the lower left side.
WW Screen Test 2 by Captain Sigma --The red and blues seem very flat and the postition of the golden belt piece seems a bit too low.
Wonder Woman by darksaber -- Nice pic and interesting casting. The lens flare seems unneccessary though. The gauntlet seems shiney enough without it.
Stunning Woman by jjmarreiro -- Very cool. I love the retro feel of this.
Geek-boy's Dream by Laserskater -- On a purely technical level if you must resize your model's chest at least try and be anatomically close. Her right (our left) breast is horribly misshapen and the shadowing on it is off as well. And the facial skin tone is different from the torso.
Spidey by xpunkx1983 -- Drawn in Paint? Wow! Very Sweet.
Vash the Stampede by SydneyLecter -- Cool drawing and the color shading is wonderful.
The Black Queen by Nicely_Toasted -- Gorgeous pic. I totally understand why this one was picked to be front page. I love the painty feel of the image.
What If by Undertow -- LOL This is hillarious and amazes me being all mouse drawn.
Wicked Trouble Maker by cfogel -- WOW! Love the design of the Samurai and she does look seriously disturbed.
Shazam! by KAZ -- LOL. Visually maybe but I just can't take that guy seriously.
I Touch Myself by Daniel Zarco - Title says it all. Nice hair. The costume is a bit flat though.
Hush by dark angel -- I wish I could draw even a tenth as well as this.

Thanks for the kind word pals, and yes I do agree, the body does need a little more work, thats what you get when you use a 5cm b&w scan from a newspaper as your base pic!
Ill get right on it... http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif
