eviloz: hey it's the punisher website. nice work of bringing it all together.
mournful lover: gotta love the butt floss.
rogue and gambit: nice evolution look. very well done.
catwoman: favorite pic of the day....finally some justice to the character.
catnip: nice work..good white line work.
magneto: bitchin! reminds me of capcom artwork.
the future: nice before and after.
supervectorman: very strong look. love to see it colored.
bat and cat: great coloring work.
punisher tease: is that John Travolta on the left side? nice gritty look.
cap america: great cap!
gambit and jubilee: good combo of characters.

Stealing a minute for a quickie UIR... Good thing I've already chosen most of my picks for the DCG Awards. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif BTW: Vote in the DCG awards. Go. Do it!
Flash Photography by localhero
Very nice work, though rather obviously posered. I like the fingerprints--nice touch.
Burton's Superman by Kombat Wombat
Cool. I like the costume. It'd be nice if this was a bit bigger, cause it's a bit hard to make out some of the features.
Malachite by conboss
Good work. I like the shadows. Why's there's no lighting concessions to the glowing green... thing in front of him?
The Bad Stunnig Woman by jjmarreiro
Great work.
Eviloz In Trouble by EvilOz
Good collage-work, though the sunglasses look really fake.
Mournful Lover by Spiderman620815
Not your best IMODO, but still very good.
Rogue And Gambit Evo by Rogue_lw
Very nice work. Only problem I see is that Gambit's hand looks a bit wonky.
Catwoman by serayala
And here's the reason I decided to do a UIR today... Ye Gods! Absolutely amazing work! Welcome back, serayala! (Of course, you don't know me, but you're one of the artists who's work gave me the manipping bug in the first place, so I'll say it anyway!) Just don't wait another two years before doing your next piece!
Handsome Catnip by HELEN~
Catwoman's eyes look off, as do the hands (course, hands are a <bleep> to do) but otherwsie this is really good.
Magneto by lordmesa
I've never liked pics where Maggie's so bulky, but that's just me. Undeniably awesome work.
The Future by KAZ
Very nice work, no complaints.
Supervectorman by matistheman
Great work. I'd like to see this coloured too. (BTW, what's vector art? I've heard the term, but I'm unsure what it denotes.)
The Bat And The Cat by trekkie
Awesome colours. (Though a little more gradation would be nice)
Punisher Tease, Version 1 by eceDrihten
I really like the grainy look. That does indeed seem to be Travolta, though it is kinda hard to tell.
Captain America Usa by MysticMorgan
Amazing stuff. I love the chainmail.
Gambit And Jubilee by kid bom
Nice stuff. The fireworks could certainly use some work, but this is still quite good.

Man, I've been meaning to do a UIR for weeks. Not to mention months, but I missed a couple of UIRs I wanted to do recently due to business or just not having energy. Plus I hate doing partial UIRs, but I suppose it's better than nothing.
Flash Photography by localhero - Not big on Poser, but this looks good. Like the litlte touches like the finger print. Plus is it just me, or does he look like Michael Rosembaum who does his voice on Justice League.
Burton's Superman by Kombat Wombat - Blech. No offense to the artwork, but this just reminds me to be thankful this movie was never made.
Malachite by conboss - um.. yeah.. well, i guess it could use some smoothing, like the mask looks too pasted in.
The Bad Stunnig Woman by jjmarreiro - I like the retro toon style of these.
Eviloz In Trouble by EvilOz - Interesting.. and odd. I like his shirt.
Mournful Lover by Spiderman620815 - She looks a tad skinny, and a bit like Liv Tyler. Still nice job. And well, on the personal lever, at least she's still talking and in contact with you. More than I can say with mine.
Rogue And Gambit Evo by Rogue_lw - nice style. Really like the hair. Not big on Evolution save that they made Rouge goth rather than just some southern belle.
Catwoman by serayala - If only it wasn't Halle Berry, who is ruining Catwoman in real life, then tis would be puuuurfect. Though I prefer the newer costume, this is nice. Plus great to see you back, loved your earlier work too.
Handsome Catnip by HELEN~ - Interesting style, looks good. Though dunno if I like the cat outfit being a thong. Crazy Greeks. (j/k)
Magneto by lordmesa - Wow this is just freaking awesome. Something about the simplified style just looks fantastic and elegant. Love the simplified toon style and the bold lines. Plus the icing on the cake is that lens flare. Too often the lens flare is overused and misused, but here it looks nice and is rather different. For once, I love a lens flare.
The Future by KAZ - Interesting concept. The base image quality seems a bit pixelated or something though. Warburn isn't bad for Supes, though I see him more as Captain Marvel and am likely one of the few who think of him as Walker from Powers. Also, I wouldn't call Ross a god. He's hyped like he is, but I just think of him as a good painter with a nice style.
Supervectorman by matistheman - Vector drawing? Cool. I was gonna say it looked like a nice inking job. Nice coloring too, like the little hint of it.
The Bat And The Cat by trekkie - It reminds me of kinda water color or blurred color somehow. I like it. Reminds me of Tim Sale or those flashback pieces from Hush.
Punisher Tease, Version 1 by eceDrihten - I'd say Travolta is a bit too blurred, but overall pretty good.
Captain America Usa by MysticMorgan - The textures on the head and chest are pretty good.
Gambit And Jubilee by kid bom - My biggest complaint is that everyone and their mutant uncle has used that pic of Keanu to make Gamit. Plus the two character don't synch up much. Wish you had at least gotten rid of the Matrix bg or just had it with Jubilee.

Hey everyone. Thanks for your comments. Yeah, that's Travolta--it was a grainy picture of him originally. I wanted him to be in the background to highlight Jane. It's an OLD poster, I did it when there were no images of anyone out but that one of Jane. Travolta's picture is probably from Get Shorty, but I'm not sure.
Thanks again!

I dont think many people are being honest with the "mourning Lover" drawing. I'm all for stylized looks myself, but this is just way off. Her bottom in no way can me related to the upper part of her body. That torso has no girth what so ever. Everything just seems off. I dont think Michael Turner is the best advisor on anatomy and drawing. He pretty much is not good in that category. I'd suggest you look at Evelgren or Andrew Loomis or some other artist with solid anatomy. Thats my two cents, and... HULK SMASH THIS DVD IS FREAKIN INSANE!!! AAAAAH!

ahhh sometimes the truth hurts. I think due to the seemingly personal nature of the topic most reviewers were giving him a bit of slack. I really only have two strong opinions on the picture.
a. I find the "theme", or intent, of the picture contradicts heavily with the actual content of the picture. a hot chick in a thong doesn't scream "romantic-yet-tragic scene", at least not to me.
b. the line work and the anatomy in this picture look like a step back from spidey's most recent work. so much so It's like a different artist completely. his most recent ultimate spider-man pictures have been really well done.

Kevin your right on the first one. Thongs dont really say romance. It mostly saids, mmm sexy lady, even though i personally dont like thongs but ANyway. I dont know about the second one, one thing i hate about ultimate spiderman by Bagley is that he thinks the way to draw a teenager is to inflate the head larger then an average teen. Resulting what appears to look like an alien, ooor someone with insefelitis.
