Once again no time for a full UIR, and once again done from a UNIX browser which doesn't like the DCG pages...
But I just wanted to get the UIR started and to thank LocalHero for the awesome color job.
I need to redesign Artemis and give him something much more suitable to his color skills. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
(Now I want to see what he'd do with the stuff at my Elfwood gallery...)

standout pieces for me today were MysticMorgan's 10th Muse and SeraYala's Supergirl.. these both rock in a big way guys. it's good to see new works from both of you.
Serayala.. i love what you did with the cape.. that little silky border around the edge really lifts it.

Not better, just a different style.
Maybe someday, you and I can do a piece together.
Thanks

uir
two face: now that's a cool looking two face. nice paint work to achieve the look. the right side of his suit seems to blurry....i would clean up both sides of the suit.
gambit animated: nice animation. alot of action for the file size...nice work.
sisters: for what it is is alright. i would have tried to at least get some different images.
artemis colored: just saw a really awesome coloring tutorial for photoshop. your advanced enough to rework it for psp. email at dperceful@yahoo.com and i'll send it to you....it's all done in pics though. neat textured look to the suit. skintone is well done.
starman vs mist: nice effect on the staff. smoke is done well.
super crowe: now thats a contemporary look to the costume that i think would work well. the emblem seems a little blurry on the edges. nice texture work.
10th muse: yes it's a different style...and it's a very good one. very well done...fav pic of the update. nice color work on the skin, very nice work. good costuming as well.
sage: nice painted look. i like the blues.
cap america: i don't know what it is but i'm just not sold on this one. i think steve's face is a little blurry, maybe that's it. still better work than most.
dr blight: captain planet...omg one of the worst catoons ever...but i did watch it occasionally. sorry the only villain i remember is the pig guy. still....nice work on the hair. her arms look kinda freakish and unnatural in pose.
tmnt: paint! damn, i couldn't do this in photoshop.
hulk close: the hulk didn't look realistic? c'mon....he has got over 2000 texture and bump maps on that body. i think ILM has fallen behind WETA Digital as far as realism...but i think the hulk was pulled off rather well. smudge the hair a little more (look at my hair tutorial in the art school for details)...the hair right now looks a little twiggy. nice use of burn and dodge...try giving the eyes some depth...they look just to blah when they are plain white.
supergirl: okay, you tie with mystic morgan for fav pic of the day. really nice stuff...especially when i look at the before and after. really nice work..the cape edges are a nice touch. model has the younger look so she fits the supergirl character well. nice job.
before and after: it's not white, it's grey. clean up your base pic first...then work it over. right now you have some pixelation and smudginess going on. also work on bringing some life to the face by adding highlights with the dodge tool.
aqua girl: nice work, did you do this in paint?
harley: damn...another great piece today. i would make it a three way tie...but there is just some tiny clean up work here and there. i see some minor pixelation and the lower half of her body just seems more painted that the top black. really nice work though, great detail to the costume and nice touch with the card.

MAJOR MAJOR THANKS GOES OUT TO ALI!!!!!!!1
Thank you so much for the animated Gambit gif! (I'm quite sure I was the one who requested it, being the reigning Gambit stalker around here.) I love it! It looks great and I'm so happy you actually did it. My only question is, how do you save an animated gif? Thanks, again!!!!!!!

I'm back! ("What? Did she go somewhere??") Uh, okay.... maybe I'll just shut up and write this uir... A fantastic update, by the way.
the BATMAN: George Raft as Two-Face by PSYCOLIPTIC
Cool. The evil part of the face looks really great and, well, evil. I like the schorched hair too. All the stuff you've done here looks great, but the other parts, especially the suit, just look really bad. Retouch this thing a bit, and you've got a really awesome picture.
Gambit:Animated Gif by ali786
A pretty little ditty. Captures the character well. I like the shading.
The Sisters by Razor
Not bad, but I don't really get the Endless feel from it... I've also seen better work from you. Shirley rules, by the way.
Oldies: Jemstone's Artemis Colored by localhero
Nice textures. Like the backgound too, it reminds me of my Greek holiday http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Starman vs the Mist by Old Uncle MarvelCool scene, cool special fx. great job.
Super Crowe by eceDrihten
Wow, that's different. The costume is very interesting. The textures look like scales and veins, and make the costume look almost like a living thing. His skin, however, looks pretty bad, like it was a recolored black&white picture.
10th Muse by MysticMorgan
10th muse must be the luckiest character in the world. There isn't a single picture of her in the gallery that isn't utterly amazing. This is really great, especially the hair and the metal parts stand out. How on earth did you get her skin to recolor so nicely? My attempts always come out really tragic...
Sage by domino
I like your style. The face and the costume look nice, but the overall picture looks a bit uneven and messy. What program are you using, and does it support layers?
Captian America II by KAZ
Pretty nice work, I can't tell where the toy ends and the person begins. The skin could use some serious cleanig though.
Dr. Blight by Psylockegirl
I have some vague memories of wathing that show as a teensy little kid, but since I didn't understand English and couldn't read the subtitles I kind of missed the most of it. I remeber the pig guy though. Aaaanyway... The hair and the costume look nice, but could use some defenition. The head looks a bit large. Nice layout.
teenage mutant ninja turtles kick @$$ by xmikex1983
Cool turtles picture. What the??? It's done with PAINT!!! Whoah... extra coolies. Now I only want pizza.
Hulk Close Up by lamor112
Whoah, take it easy there, big guy. Pretty nice, could be better but nice anyway. Check out some hair tutorials.
Supergirl by serayala
Really, really good. Your costuming is always perfect. The flowing cape is just... *runs out of praising adjectives* Well, you get my point.
Before and After by Sonic1002
Nice face deformation, but I get the feeling that you could have done more to the base pic. Add a bowtie and put a flower in his lapel, change the hairstyle etc... but first clean out the skin. It's not bad, and it probably serves its purpose, but it's not great either.
aqua girl by mark
Cute. MS Paint? I like it. One of her legs is in a pretty weird angle though.
harley queen by stillhbk
A cute-looking Harley you've got there. The costume looks pretty nice, but would look a LOT nicer if it had some wrinkles. Nice job with the mask.
