The last installment of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy is a month away, and to commemorate it I thought it would be cool to have a LotR theme day. But whoa, before you start working on a pic of Gandalf or Gollum, listen here, it's gotta be comic book themed. How? Well, the idea is to manip/draw/paint/sculpt/etc a COMIC BOOK character as if he or she is from the LotR universe. For example, Frank Castle can be a vigilante from Gondor who has sworn revenge on all Orcs after they killed his family. Or maybe Dr. Strange can be Stephenaldale the Red Wizard. Etc etc etc.

I hope people like this. This is a lot like the Flunking History (http://www.comics2film.com/DCG/index.php?f_start=1&f_ssn=&f_order=1&f_dir=2&f_words=DCG%20Concept%3A%20Flunking%20History) theme day we had a while back.

Anyways, here's the lowdown:

Lord of the Rings Time Warp

Due Date: Tuesday, December 16th
