Have you every watched a tv show and though, "I could totally imagine this cast as..."? I was watching The O.C. (which is awesome by the way) and one (well now two) of the main characters read a bunch of comics. Legion in particular has been mentioned twice and when last nights episode ended the three main characters (blonde guy, blondish girl, and black haired guy) were sitting together and i thought, dude its Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, and Cosmic Boy - the original Legion!

What do you guys think, the cast of Angel as the Batman family? West Wing as Kingdom Come DCverse? American Idol as Gen 13? Dawson's Creek as The Authority...hmm maybe not. I'm gonna probably get working on this soon but I thought I'd throw it out there as a possible theme day idea. If there's I dunno, 4 people other interested maybe we'll make it official?

I always wanted to do that seventies show as the X-men...Hyde is just such a kick ass Wolvie, and could Donna and Eric be anymore Jean and Scott?

haha, that's funny. i try not to venture off the dcg gab board. its scary and my mommy told me not to talk to strangers. welshcat, did you want to act on any of those ideas?

Well, you can use them if you want. I thought the Alias one was pretty cool! The CSI one wasn't bad either. They do roughly correspond with the comic book roles they've been allocated.

This is a great idea. I've often wondered what the cast of The Prisoner would look like as The Invisibles (or, more recently, The Filth), but then, I'm an evil, evil, man.

i also have had plans for those kids in that 70s show as the legion of superheroes. hyde could be timberwolf, eric as lightning lad, ashton kutcher as cosmic boy, eric's sister as andromeda, donna as kinetix maybe, fez as karate kid (maybe not) and mila kunis as violet.

i dig this idea. kinda went through with it with my xmen evolution-buffy series. have to pick that one up though. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

I always thought of doing The Breakfast Club as the X-Men: Judd Nelson as Wolverine, Emilio as Cyclops, anthony Michael Hall as Iceman (or Nightcrawler), Ally Sheedy as Rogue, and Molly Ringwald as Jean.

Might still do that one day...
