Fire Tutorial?

Does anyone have or know of a good tutorial for making fire? Any help would be apriciated. Thanks!

this is one for photoshop, some of the best fire i've seen.

they both deal with fire text. but don't let that stop you. they are just using white text, you can do the same with any object that is white.

anytime your looking for a tutorial for a particular effect, www.google.com (http://www.google.com) is your detective of choice. for example, to find out how to do fire in photoshop just type "create fire+photoshop" or just "fire+photoshop." you'll find tons of hits for it.
