Well alright!!!!! Whazzup Fanboys and fangirls?!? This is 'Da Cap-e-ton, holla if ya hear me!!!

X-Men On Stage - I think Ron Pearlman (star of the new "Hellboy" movie) played the beast. As far as your work, it's great! I probably would have went for Sabertooth on the image though, but still great!

The Ultimate Stunner - Nice form!

Professor X - The essence of Ross!

Vampirella - Poppa likes!

Joker Jury - You are sick and twisted...welcome to the party!!!!!

Supergirl - Poppa also likes!

Superman Promo - 4 words: I want a wallpaper!

Christian Bale as Batman - How do you guys find pictures of this guy? The searches I do have the images all blury. But I babble, great work!

Sentinels - I love your metals

Luke Cage: Bad move - Nice shoutout to "Shaft" and other blaxploitation films.

The Rock as Namor - He would most certainly kick Aquaman's fishtail!!!

Spider-girl unmasked - Very paint job, but try Photoshop.

Captain America coins - I hope they mint these! How about a Captain Sigma coin?

Batman: Intimidation Game - Again with the Christian Bale guy! I like the image, but how do you get these images?

Af: Captain Marvel - Cool!

Wonder Woman - Dark Chylde, you rock!!!!!

xmen on stage: he needs some nail clippers.

ultimate stunner: very nice work. you could easily flip the pic and have her anging upside down. lover to see this one colored....hey can i color it? i'll email you....your right, i think it's your best spidey girl yet.

professor x: nice warm color, i think the lighting position is right for this one. if you reversed it, you would get the creepy flashlight halloween look. do you do post work in photoshop?

vampirella: the body is a statue? nice color job, real nice....what color was the statue originally? i would touch up the background image....has some pixelation.

joker jury: geez, do you think he will be found guilty?

supergirl: welcome to the dcg...forgot to say that earilier. you have the right idea....use the dodge and burn tools to create more definition to the costume.

superman promo: awesome....just friggin awesome. nice coloring on the logo. great layout and blending....really nice work.

christian bale: the bat symbol on the chest is missing the definition that the resot of the body has. great work on the costume, nice muscle and definition. nice utility belt.

sentinels: one thing....shadows. it would really help the perspective effect your going for. nice work on putting the concept art in.

luke cage: sweet! favorite pic of the day. this would make a great retro blaxploitation movie....or a great film with carl weathers as an older version of luke cage and maybe reminiscing about his younger days. really great color work...nice mood with this piece.

rack namor: nice likeness. beautiful artwork.

spider girl: could use some lighting and shading.

batman intimidation: welcome to the dcg. nice movie look.

captain marvel: i wish i could get my hair to look this white...instead of the every so often grey hairs that pop up. as always great work. nice costuming. great work on the skin....really beleivable and handles very well.

wonder woman: welcome to the dcg. add some highlights and shadows to the costume to create depth.

Hey dperceful! Are people on Turkey day vacation or did I forget to wear deodorant again? This is only my second posting, but it seems like there is some sort of bias to folks who have been posting for years. I don't think that's fair, but maybe it's not the case. Anyway, thanks for your positive feedback!

Hey Sticks, what font are you using for those Alex Ross X-Men pics? That looks exactly like the titles he makes himself!

Okay, maybe it was because of Turkey Day vacation!!!! I guess I'm a little paranoid because I used to get trashed alot for my work. I know I shouldn't take it seriously, I just do it for fun. But I do think I'm getting a little bit better with my manips.

And Adamantium82, thanks for the link.

all of us judge differently around here. for example, if you do something like a cut and paste and all of the edges are not even cleaned up....well i tend to mention that. if you do a cut and paste, and the edges are clean, well i try an at least give you credit for it....even though with proper training a 5 year old could do it.

for work that has had a little more intensive work done to it, i try and take a chance and rate it against the artist's work as a whole. for the first few submissions, i'm pretty lenient, with a suggestion here and there. after that i tend to be more critical, because i honestly think after 4 or 5 submissions, there should be some visible sign of improvement.

that brings me to the next part, if i don't see improvement and the style never changes. eventually i'll just exclude the artist from the uir because it's likely they don't read the uir's or why bother making the suggestions when he/she doesn't respond to them.

there's not a real bias here towards the senior members here....they just have done this for so long they have their skills down, hence the reviews tend to be more pleasant. that doesn't always mean that i like everything about their pic, i might mention to zac a possible addition to a piece, or make a minor suggestion to welshcat about an alternate way to handle something. again, they are just suggestions and ideas.....just as the same as i give to new members.

Back from Nebraska...

Thanks for the kind words...

yes, on these, I did quite a bit of post in Photoshop. Much use of filters, smudgin', burnin', dodgin', blowin' up, shrinkin' down, etc etc

As for the font, it's Guest Check, form Font Diner (http://www.fontdiner.com)
Be warned, I did buy it, it's not free.. *grin*

pax, all... I'm going back to sleep... 18 hours of travelling yesterday... tired boy

I know it may sound harsh, but everyone reviews to help each other. If you would not like your picture discussed, include that in your art notes. Trust me it's not personal. When I started here years ago I felt the same way until I realized that the comments helped me sooooo much. Look at my first and last pics for proof. And I owe all my improvement to my fellow artists. I just do this for fun too. But part of the fun is making your art look good. Once again, don't take it personal. It's meant to help you.

I was talking about actually posting in the forums, not the artwork. Back a few years ago, I sent a question in about the (then) soon to be released 'Spider-Man' movie, and no one responded. I know my work can only improve with time and creative criticism and I take it with a grain of salt. I don't any malice toward anyone at C2F, and for once, I have finally received a substantial number of responses to a posting. COOOOOLLLLL!!!!!!
