nightcrawler: nice cut and paste. i can honestly say i'm never thrilled to see cut and pase work, as for the most part it's done very sloppy. you avoid the latter by having crisp clean edges and cut and pastes that make sense. i'd still like to see more original work, but your cut and paste is good.
sage: the dress line seems a little off. lens flare is bad touch, trust me...they hurt most images rather than help.
MarvelHeroinesHeads5: nice watercolour work. no complaints, nice style.
ww: bevels are your enemy. i kow this is back in your beginning work, but you current work still suffers from the terrible bevel effect. i'm assuming your trying to creat a 3d look to you images, that can be handled better with lighting and perspectives than with bevels.
Marvel -n- DC colleauge: nice work in paint. who is the background (the eyes)?
demon spawn: instead of a description of who it is, how about a description of the application used to create this, what tools were used. it's good work, i would like to know how you went about it.
Fireworks of Baby Boom!: my girlfriend has the same effect on me. poor robin...he is going to leave a large mess.
Twilight of the Superheroes: cool work. george reeves body seems a bit smudgy in spots. nice work.
jla lego: cute. clean up the edges and this would be perfect.
x3: simple...i could see it as a sequel poster. of course you'd probably have to add the cold blue colors they use.
ww: skins a little pixelated, i would clean it up and smooth it out. costuming for what it is is alright. the costume itself sould use some definition.
witchblade: bitchin'! favorite image of the day. great lines and detail work. very gorgeous hair. face is sexy and the eyes are very well done. te detail work on her armor is very nice.
supergirl: welcome to the dcg. nice first manip.
huntress: interesting style...would like to see it colored.
batgirl: nice bryce background. yoru right, capes suck....but once you do one, your get the basic idea of them. nice work...the costuming is lit very well. love the subtle wrinkles. her feet seem to disppear, maybe my eyes are tricking me. nice work....keep it up.
dr strange: neat concept on the character. the moustache is a little too much (meaning it's very blatant). the fists, seemed to turned towards teh viewer. i like the shirt and pants, all handled well. the power effect is a nice touch...i could see some energy smoke coming off it.

Nigthcrawler the priest
by siddhartha
Good, even though you've changed just a little part of original pic. But...why is that crucifix cut at the bottom?
Sage
by show_u_who_i_am
Is that Shannon Doherty? Not bad, but I think you should spend more time on this.
MarvelHeroinesHeads5
by Yusuf
Pretty ;) Very sketchy, which is positive here. Bad side: too chaotic and disordered. Try to arrange them better next time.
Wonder Woman
by bcat75
Well, I understand that this is one of your firsts manips. Try to use some shadows instead of those terrible filters.
Marvel -n- DC colleauge
by Bobby Smith
Funny ;)
Fun with demon spawn
by the_green_w0nder
Nice character. And this drawing ik OK. Too smudgy and too small though. But I like it. Maybe try some layers while you are colouring in photoshop.
Fireworks of Baby Boom!
by Laserskater
Ha ha! That child is awful! Very funny artwork, nice job, assembled in a very good way. I like it a lot.
Twilight of the Superheroes
by Tokyo_Bastard
Nice. Too smudgy in some places, but not bad ;)
JLA Lego
by sickboy_ukuk
Charming :)Another funny pic today. I like it - maybe because I am fond of Lego toys :P
X3
by Amy Karas
Hmm.. I think I have nothing to say about that one.
Rhona Mitra - Wonder Woman
by recklessjb
Good casting.
Witchblade
by master caster
Well, it's no doubt that you are a professional artist. Looking at that pic is a pure pleasure - my favourite picture of the day. I like this a lot, even though I'm not familiar with Witchbalde. Good proportions, nice face, this character is very real. Nice job!!
Supergirl
by Reaper2K
I think you should do some wrinkles and seams on her clothes. Artwork is Ok though. (is that red thing on her hips a skirt? :P)
Batgirl
by B
Nice artwork :) It looks good, oh, maybe except that cape (but I understand that you hate doing capes ;P) - it looks unnatural with reference to the rest of picture. I don't know why but she looks a bit like a gargoyle or something.. Anyway, it is not bad!
Ultimate Dr. Strange II
by Dr_Strange
Nice, even though I don't like Ultimates. But it has a fresh look on Dr. Strange (I've always hated his costume, your vision makes it better). Well done manip!
No time for a proper UIR, but here's a couple of comments...
Marvelheroinesheads5 by Yusuf
Cool. It goes outside the lines here and there, and it'd be nice if the faces were a bit bigger so you could get more detail in them. Still, cool.
Fun with demon spawn by the_green_w0nder
This is quite cool. Too small, but quite cool. I really like the look. Bits are ay too blurry, though--ie the belt buckles.
Witchblade by master caster
This is absolutely awesome. Easily the best pic of the day. She looks incredibly gorgeous, and the detail on the armour is beautiful. It's sooo obvious you're a professional. Wow.
Batgirl by Me
Ehhh. I'm a bit off of this now. It's not bad, but I've done better. The top part of the cape--everything above the shoulders--looks wrong. Its too bright and the folds are really unnatural. Ah, well. I still like the rest of the cape, though I seem to have forgotten to have it cast a shadow on her costume. Fortunately, the piece I'm working on now feels like its going to be better. (Fingers crossed)
Dan: The feet are there, but you can't really tell because of the angle and because of how dark everything is. I probably should've added some highlights on her toes.
bullsik: What do you mean she looks like a gargoyle? I don't really see it. And is "nice" or "not bad"? One means "good, but not great", the other means "tolerable but not good", so it's a bit of a difference. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

Just wanted to give dperceful, B, and bullsik a thumbs up for reviewing. To Bullsik- it's okay that you had nothing to say about the pic. I wouldn't have normally submitted something I made when I was just playing around, but I just thought it looked kinda cool. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Nigthcrawler The Priest by siddhartha- Cool concept!
Sage by show_u_who_i_am- I love the X belt thingy! Check out some tutorials in the art school for help with costuming if you had problems finding the perfect one. Marcelo, Robbo, and Strangefish all have great costuming tutorials.
Marvelheroinesheads5 by Yusuf- I love how Rogue looks! Nice job!
Wonder Woman by bcat75- Very bevely.
Marvel -n- Dc Colleauge by Bobby Smith- Looks sorta childish. I'm so sorry to say that but I have to be honest. I think you'd have better luck just drawing something, scanning it, and then coloring it.
Fun With Demon Spawn by the_green_w0nder- Neat! A bit blurry.
Fireworks Of Baby Boom! by Laserskater- Lol, cool picture! Great job!
Twilight Of The Superheroes by Tokyo_Bastard- Very unique.
Jla Lego by sickboy_ukuk- I love it!!! LOL!!!
X3 by Amy Karas- (mine)
Rhona Mitra - Wonder Woman by recklessjb- Very nice! I really like the gold!
Witchblade by master caster- This looks amazing. Simply beautiful.
Supergirl by Reaper2K- This isn't bad at all for a beginner!!! Try adding some shadows and highlights. If you're using photoshop you can accomplish this by using the burn and dodge tools. Keep up the good work. And actually, my first manip was of Psylocke. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Huntress: Look Out (at The City Ha Ha) by morph- Hmm... Something seems off. I think the buildings are a little tipsy.
Batgirl by B- Awesome! Actually I also think she looks like a gargoyle which is a complete compliment. Dark on the rooftop, she looks like a silent gaurdian of the city, protecting the world from evil. Which, in theory is also what a gargoyle does. I think that similarity is actually an amazing compliment to your incredible piece. Kudos! One more, think... You're Polish! I never knew! I'm 100% Polish myself. (Well, Polish American I guess) I find it's so hard to find other Polish people. Dzien dobre!
Ultimate Dr. Strange Ii by Dr_Strange- Lol, he looks funny! Cool.

Dzien dobry! I didn't even know you were Polish! Cool. I'm actually more North American than Polish now, though... born in Warsaw but I've been in Canada since I was five.
I'm glad you liked the piece! Thanks for the compliments. If you put it like that then yes, I guess she does sorta look like a gargoyle. I'm still not entirely happy with it (I like it, but not as much as I did a couple weeks ago when I enqueued it) but I'm always happy to get good reviews!
Oh, and your piece was cool too. I just couldn't really think of anything to say about it, like bullsik. It's cool but it's, well, a logo. Not much you can say about a logo really...

Be seeing you!

Nightcrawler the Priest -- Clean edges on the cut and paste and nice perspective background but like others have mentioned the cross is missing its bottom part and the white of the collar is very flat.
Sage -- Not bad on adapting the dress, even if the line is a bit off. And the logo is nicely done.
Marvelheroineheads -- Cool idea. I think my faves are a toss up between Rogue and Psylocke
Wonder Woman -- The filters make it even more obvious that its a photomanip than if you just flat colored.
Marvel -DC collage -- For paint this is pretty good.
Fun with Demon Spawn -- Cool image and character rendered in an interesting style. Would have liked to see a larger crisper version.
Fireworks of Baby Boom -- LOL. Nice way to show the explosion effect.
Twilight of the Superheroes -- Interesting concept and nice touch using Alan Moore as Supes. As a couple of others mentioned its a bit blurry in places .. especially the beard and hair on Superman.
JLA Lego -- LOL Funny sick and twisted just the way I like 'em. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif
X3 -- Awesome teaser poster. I would love to see this against the series' trademark silver and blue. It would make the gorgeous phoenix stand out even more.
Rhona Mitra - Wonder Woman -- Nice work on the metallic parts but the red and blue are very flat. And I think I see a bit of her original torso under her (screen right) arm.
Witchblade -- WOW! Its obvious why you are one of the pros. The detail in her hair and the armor are beautiful. Fave pic of the day.
Supergirl -- Not bad but the whole costume could use some more depth. At this point it pretty much looks like painted skin. But still impressive for a beginner.
Huntress -- Interesting style. I like all the detail you put into her costume.
Batgirl -- Very cool piece. And KUDOS for even attempting the cape. I agree with Amy Karas that the gargoylish appearance is a good thing. To me the one thing that I would change is that the arm spikes seem to blend into the arm behind them just a hair.
Ultimate Dr. Strange -- Interesting idea. The hands seem a bit awkward though and the logo almost seems to float above the shirt.

Wow.
Amy and B: Witam Was http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif To zaskoczenie i to dosyc mile, widziec tu "swoich" na forum C2F. Jestem ze Szczecina, podobnie jak inny artysta DGC - daekazu http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif Heh, no sporo nas tu, jak na amerykanskie forum.
That was in Polish, because I'm Polish too. Translating: Hello http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif It's a nice surprise to see here, on a C2F forum, people who are the same nationality as me. I'm from Szczecin [city in the North-West Poland] just like another DCG artist - daekazu http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif Well, four Polish people on american forum is quite a lot.
Ok. Now listen my fellow B: I really like gargoyles a lot, so that's rather compliment than condemnation. Just as I said - your artwork is "nice" (ha, my English isn't very good, I'm writing it with a dictionary - I'm not joking http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif). You know, in Polish "not bad" ("niezly") has a positive undertone.
And Amy: The first thing I've thought about your artwork was "Too small". http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif And then, I didn't know what to say about this because I just didn't have an opinion and "too small" would sound silly http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Dwoch kolejnych! Niewiarygodne... Teraz muszimy zrobic zamach stanu!
Trans: Two more! Inconceivable... ["I don't think that means what you think it means."] Now we need to make a coup d'etat! http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
This is just totally cool and totally unexpected. Flabbergasted, I must say.
I'm glad you liked my piece! I didn't get the "niezly" translation, cause I didn't even know you were Polish til now. (Though I do know the word.) I suppose it does look somewhat like a gargoyle--I just never really though along those lines. Don't worry, your English is fine. (Likely better than my Polish!)
Your work's really good too, BTW, as is daekazu's. I'm incredibly impressed with your drawing skills. I can draw a bit (and need to practice more, but my manips are far better and more satisfying, so I do that more often) but I'm completely in awe of the quality of your work. You're probably both among the top ten or so illustrators in the gallery, IMO.
