View Full Version : What would people think if I did a Sinister Six picture?

Well, more importantly, what would Bill Turner think? I didn't actually plan to do one - I'm actually just doing a Spidey v Dr Octopus picture, but it feels like it could have a few other characters added. I would also like to do some of Spidey's other classic foes eventually, but can't be bothered to do at least six or more other Spidey pictures just to showcase each one. Doing the Six would kill 6 birds with one stone. I just wondered if people here might think I'm copying Bill Turner's idea since he is most well known for his Sinister-ism, otherwise I'll pick a different set of villains. I would do a Sinister Syndicate picture (I have an uncompleted one on my hard drive) but those villains aren't as classic.

What do people think?

I say go for it!

I think we're all secure enough in our abilities that it wouldn't be considered as anything other than you doing a cool pic.

I hope so, anyway!

Sure, go for it. I don't see how doing a pic of the Sinister Six is any different form doing one of any other team, really, it's not like any one of us owns them. (Though if Stan Lee and Steve Ditko start complaining... http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif )

I expect Bill would love to see your take on the group, I know I would.

They would say... "Why does Kraven have a mullet?"

I don't have a copyright on the idea. I think it will be a wonderful edition to the gallery. I know you'll do a better job. Once I get to the third character I start looking for shortcuts. I almost turned in the FF vs. Galactus with Sue completely invisible just to get it over with. I think we ought to have a month of nothing but scenes so the waiting list in the gallery will shrink. Welshcat, I have an idea if you're ever up to it. We pick a theme and do a background. Then you do a character..say.. throwing a punch. Then send it to the me and I counter it with another character oofing or ducking or something. It would kind of be like a scene chess match.

I think it would be really cool for you to do that, WC. Methinks it will be cool to see your's and Bill's (who, like you, is being established as a big scene guy it seems) different takes on scenes. Kind of like your F4/Galactus picture (which I cheated and looked at in the queue today, very good job).

Thanks for the input, guys. Now I just hope I can sustain the momentum long enough to complete the picture before some other more interesting idea suddenly distracts me.

Zac, shame on you for looking!

You know, I already feel it happening. Can't stop the distractions... too many ideas flooding my mind... must concentrate!
