Official UIR of the "Comedy Tonight" theme day.

Mc14-visor by Marzo Comics- Fun design.

Comedy Tonight: What The-?! by Junkyard- The potency of this cover has not been lessed after all these months.

Wolverine Rebooted Page 14 by Jedi Knight Pas-Jo Dacle- You gave names to the Ewoks, but not to the cow?

Comedy Tonight: Potato World 1, Potato World 2, Potato World 3 by MysticMorgan- These are truly bizzar little comics. Funny, though.

Green Lantern?? by hellzzyum- Whoa. Conan the Green Barbarian. Well done.

Jude Law As Superman by xmikex1983- Pretty nice. He looks a little squat, though.

Transformers: Crash And Burn by DAVID GUIVANT- Aaa! Where am I? This is so confusing. Pretty colors.

X_men , No Surrender by cfogel- Nice. I'd like to see that "pin-cushion" Wolvie mad einto an action figure.

Cyclops Vs Sinister by siddhartha- Cool scene. Well done.

Comedy Tonight: Gomer Shazam by Graphicmouse- Heh, heh. Realy creative idea.

Widows Grace by Wind Dancer- Nice. Pretty good from- scratch costume.

Comedy Tonight: Oh Crap. by encforme- HOW COULD HE??? I mean, if I had to choose between a telekenetic redhead and a psychob**ch blond, I'd go with the coppertop. Funny image. Jean's gonna go pheonix on his hieny.

Impulse by Electric_Chinchilla- Great piece. There hasn't been enough Impulse, and now that he's Kid Flash, there won't be much more.

Comedy Tonight: Legion Subs by kev_incal- This is such a cool image. At first I didn't get it- "I'm... Tin Can Lad? Oh! Junkyard!"
This is my favorite of the day. And just how in creation did you know that turquois and purple is my favorite superheroic color scheme??? (I'm not kidding.)

Overall, a great update, and a great theme day.

Mc14-visor by Marzo Comics
Good sketch, as usual. The proportions are weird, he's really top-heavy. The legs look really small.

Comedy Tonight: What The-?! by Junkyard
Not bad. It's certainly funny, the Invisible Woman joke is great. It's a pretty good adaptation of the original cover, though it would've been cool if the character's expressions were more appropraite. (Easier said than done, I realize!) The effects for Surfer and Thing look weird -- the former doesn't really look metallic, the latter doesn't really look rocky.

Wolverine Rebooted Page 14 by Jedi Knight Pas-Jo Dacle
The photo at the bottom and the disclaimer "the following were harmed..." are among the funniest things in the whole story, oddly. Uh... not much to critique here, is there? 'S just credits.

Comedy Tonight: Potato World 1 by MysticMorgan
Rather amusing, good work. I think the second one is a bit funnier, but they're both good. Good work on the manips as well.

Comedy Tonight: Potato World 2 by MysticMorgan
Like I said, I think this the funniest of the three. Not sure why.

Green Lantern?? by hellzzyum
Um... it's okay, I guess. I can't honestly say it's very GL, though. Some of the shading is really distracting, giving the skin a greenish blotchy look... it makes him look like a leper! It also seems as though he should have more hair. The background's cool though.

Jude Law As Superman by xmikex1983
It's okay. Everything below the neck is rather blurry, and the lighting is all over the place. Nice colours in the costume, though it could really use some seams and wrinkles.

X_men , No Surrender by cfogel
Rather cool, though it might be better if it were finished. Nice drawing, though Wolvie's legs and forearm seem rather oversized. Good colouring, though the inks on Colossus are too light, they clash with the rest of the piece. Again, a finished version would be nice.

Cyclops Vs Sinister by siddhartha
Not your best. Bits are rather blury (ie Sinister's hair) and/or washed out (Sinister's skin), the lighting is all over the place.

Comedy Tonight: Gomer Shazam by Graphicmouse
Funnier than it has any right to be, with excellent costuming to boot on Gomer. Pretty good recolour, though I think it could use a few hints of different colours. It looks more like a colourized photo than a real colour one.

Comedy Tonight: Potato World 3 by MysticMorgan
Clone Spider-Fries? Good stuff, though I still say the second one is the best of the three.

Widows Grace by Wind Dancer
Quite nice. Good costuming, good bracer, good belt. The highlights on the suit seem kinda painty, and could probably be brighter. A background might also be nice.

Impulse by Electric_Chinchilla
There y'go, that didn't take too long. Great debut. Nice drawing, nicely coloured. The right/screen left eye looks a bit to high, even given the perspective. That's my only nit though, good job. Looking forward to seeing more!

Comedy Tonight: Oh Crap. by encforme
Yeah, I remember this scene. Not that bad, though it's obvious that it was rushed. The costuming's a bit painty, but okay. I think Emma's bizarro halter top thing is suppose to be one piece, connected at the back. Mind you, that still doesn't explain how it stays on...

Comedy Tonight: Legion Subs by kev_incal
Oh my God. I cannot begin to appreciate the patience this must have taken. I mean, wow. That's a hell of a lot of costuming. All well done, of course. I recognize most everybody, much to my surprise. Maybe you could post an index somewhere, mind you... And hey, my first appearance in the DCG! And my costume's the same colour as Cosmic Boy's, so I guess that makes me the leader. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif Pass the rum, Kev. And while you're at it, enrol me into Gotham U. (he subtly suggested... I love bossing people around!) Favourite pic of the update, as though there was any doubt.

EDIT: Seeing the names makes this piece even funnier. They're all good, particularly Thumbnail Boy. And GPK. And Squeegee Kid. And of course Lush Lad. And... uh... everyone, really. It's cool to get a big version as well, way easier to make out the logos. I can't help but point out, however, that "Turn-Left Lad"'s symbol is a right turn sign...

Nice update indeed! I definitely need to mention Kevin's pic individually. Really great work, buddy! Looks like it took a lot of time, plus the emblems on the characters are really funny. I especially like mine...god is that ever funny http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

Anyway, I've probably missed some people in the keywords that I don't recognize. If so, let me know.

I just finished writing the "art notes" to my piece so if you saw them when it just said "Yes" or when it just had the character names, look again for little character notes and insights. Essex, I swear when I came up with Thumbnail Boy I was thinking about a thumb as a logo, at first anyways http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif Oh and WWG and Marrow need to learn to keep their hands to themselves http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif Oh and I gave a bunch of you new hairdos, what do you think?

Hey Es check out my updated art notes for the full list of who's in the picture.

Oh and B, Left Turn Lad's symbol is correct from his perspective.

Man it looks even better and is even funnier at full size! Plus, the art notes really make this complete http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif Hilarious, Kev!

And so that IS a thumb..! I owe you a coke, rare01. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif haha.

Once again, Kev shows us that C2F really wouldn't be the same without him. We owe much of the community feeling at C2F to Kevin. And nobody is wearing a dress this time!!

I agree, it's even better full size and with proper art notes. Sheer genius, really. I must admit though, I'm completely boring and actually thought that Thumbnail Boy's logo was... a thumb. No, really. Mind you, it would've been even funnier if it had been what you thought it was, wouldn't it? And I stand corrected on the turn-left thing.

(And it's amusing to find myself portraying a rapper... I actually know about as much about that style of music as a hamburger knows about the Sahara desert. Which is more than I want to, really.)

Wow. Legion of Subs is really the belle of the ball, so to speak. Part of what makes it great is that it's the impossible photo. I mean, you're more likely to see half the stuff in the gallery take place in real life than you would be to see all of us in the same physical room at the same time.

The only reason why I named the Ewok is because that same name was given to an Ewok in the Credits of Star Wars Return Of The Jedi. Look, it's in there!

Comedy Tonight: WHAT THE-?!
by Junkyard- Not Too bad, altho, why is there a second eyepatch on the floor of the stage, and also, why doesn't wolverine have an eye patch like the original.

Comedy Tonight: Potato World 1 by MysticMorgan -well done, albeit wierd...

Comedy Tonight: Potato World 2 by MysticMorgan -HA! Good one, I would make sure you end all sentences in one bouble instead of continuing the sentace in a new one.

Green Lantern?? by hellzzyum -Nice Aquaman... http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif

Jude Law As Superman by xmikex1983-The blur of his head does not match the blur of his cape and body. Be careful about that. But everything is sized well, and the logo is very nicely cut and pasted.

X_men , No Surrender by cfogel -Fraggin awsome! I love it when people draw Wolvie with a bunch of arrows in him and he still looks like he's gonna kick some arse.

Comedy Tonight: Gomer Shazam by Graphicmouse -ROFLMAO!!!!! THIS IS PERFECT!

Comedy Tonight: Potato World 3 by MysticMorgan -uuhhhhh...ummmm....

Comedy Tonight: Oh Crap. by encforme-HA! Very nicely done.

Comedy Tonight: Legion Subs by kev_incal -LOVE IT!LOVE IT! LOVE IT! And you shaved the sides of my head! NO!!! It's short on the sides long in the back but nnot THAT SHORT on the sides! Welsh looks HILARIOUS!

The second eyepatch is a shodow. It wasn't on the original cover, but I figured it should have been there.

The lack of eyepatch on Wolvie was a flub. Crap.

I am probably being repetitive here, but Kev's pic simply rocks!!I LOVED IT! I was laughing hard enough to have a Coke-related little accident (poor keyboard,it will never be the same again). Of coruse,it's a awesome work of pacience, detailing and creativity.I liked specially the logos.

And what's the point about the dresses? I like to see them at Kev's pictures http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif.

Wet willies for all!

Just wanted to compliment everyone on their pics today, and especially Lush La- erm, Kev for his crazy Legion pic. It's been far too long since we last saw a mass-DCGers manip!

Y'know, I'm actually tempted to start referring to everyone by their "Legion" names. Particularly Essex. Maybe I'll start a petition to get everyone calling him Thumbnail Boy. Of course, he'd then rain the fires of Hell down upon my heretical nose, but it'd be worth it. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

If you do, B, you'll coincidentally notice that the wait for your art to be posted will be quite a bit longer http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif

I did mention the fires of Hell and scorching demonic rain, didn't I? I mean, isn't that enough? You'd have to start delaying my art being posted too? Honestly, some people have no sense of humour... http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif
