As a Linux/Unix person I've toyed around with Gimp, but currently prefer Photoshop.
I'm probably going to spend a little more time checking out the new Gimp.

Many thanks brick, I'm sure I'll find the links informative...I lucked into the gimp when I got my computer a couple of years back..I have a buddy who's a programer, & he dowwn loaded it for me. Not being very computer oriented my self it took a while to get into it , but now I am, & the learning process is never ending. So again, I appreciate the food for thought. peace~L.B.
