spiderman web: it has a different and unique look to it. i like the web...it's shaded well.
astro city: honestly i know nothing of astro city. what i do know is a good manip when i see one, and this is a great one. i would like to maybe see some subtle texturing or some more waviness to the cape...but all in all, a nice piece of work.
Justice League International: Breakdowns Tribute: nice first attempt at a scene! i like the layout of the characters. i kinda wish there were some more brilliant display of special effects, i will use the green flame as an example, it seems muted to me. i love booster, i know if i removed the gold glow that costume would look good, so you didn't cheap out and kinda do him half assed, nice dedication. i like the destuction in the piece, since its a metropolitan adding in a running crowd of people would be a cool touch. really nice work....nice to see a scene from you.
kami: sketched, sheesh...i can't even imagine that vivid of a pic.
barry and hal: a colored piece, nice. i'm still not sold on the consistent pursed lip look your character have, but you have a nice style. nice color work.
spiderman3: how did this get posted? zero progression in any skills here...my cat could have done this. sorry to be harsh, but your work could use some control and discipline, it looks like an art project from a first grade class. take the time to neaten up the work...like coloring inside the lines, making some straight angles or smooth lines, etc. i'll give you points for conrad bains, it does take different strokes to move the world today....a lesson all of us overlook. and what was willis really talking about, we may never know.
spidey 2: nice work. i like the background, i wouldn't have known it was rushed...it offers a unique look to the scene. i like how you handled the raised webbing...very nice. i like ock's tentacles...nice sharp look.
mystic's spiderman 2: a freakin' quickie! i can't even do this good in a month. very nice, i like the tentacles, did you sample those in or create them from scratch...the reason i ask is they look like the ones i see from the movie...i mean exactly like them....if you recreated them, damn nice job, i'm very impresssed. if you brought them in, still nice work of bringing them in and blending them to the pic. i like the whole scene. i think a more up close spidey shot with a shadowy ock and manacing tentacles coming in from behind would be a more interesting look, but then again.....this is your piece and it is an awesome one. great work as always.
