Here's some UIR to tie myself over till I do a full one...

Creepy Namek by rainie19_2000-Not to bad, although the shoulder blades are just a bit to pronounced.

Original Concept: Bloodfire by Winterhawk -Great costume! Watch the eyes tho...

Batman Begins Teaser by dan_el -Perfect, no suggestions needed. Nice background...wouldn't mind seeing this as a desktop wallpaper.

I shall return to do a full one latter...

Namor by Alchematrix -Nicely done ear, very smooth.

Tigra by Rheul -I like how you got the skin to look like fur. Can you email me the base pic? imaguitargod@aol.com[NO SPAM]

Haven't done one of these in a while. Okay, I haven't done one in maybe a whole two days, but that's actually quite an unforgiveable delay given my usual UIRing pace. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

Creepy Namek by rainie19_2000
Nice work, as always, though it's a bit difficult to make out any details of the pic. And why not try to draw someone other than Piccolo?

Original Concept: Bloodfire by Winterhawk
Cool design, cool backstory, the usual fine manipping work. Nice creepy eyes as well, though the screen right one is notably brighter. The arms and legs seem to sort of lack detail (ie, wrinkles) in comparison to the leotard thingy. Maybe that's due to the size though. And I'd have personally made the flames a bit brighter, maybe yellow or white at the bottom, to make them stand out more. But that's me.

Batman Begins Teaser by dan_el
Damn cool poster. Nice, simple, moody. Good work with the colours. Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a sort of halo around his horns.

Batman Begins by joker21
It's okay. The layout's a bit bland, and the photos at the top are IMO unnecessary. I'd have simply made a two-shot with Bale as Bruce Wayne and as Batman, with bigger photos and smaller text.

Another Namor by rich1221
It's decent, and certainly very well cast, but there's a number of problems. First, the pic if really rather grainy and messy, it needs cleaning up. It's also blurry, which makes the additions, while well frankensteined, really stick out. The hair's edges are too sharp to be entirely realistic. Probably the most obvious problem is the trunks, the texture doesn't curve to fit his shape at all.

Greyhead Hearthstone by localhero
Good work, as always. Nice touch-ups, the arm is really well done. Good inking, and very nice colouring. That's a very cool skin tone. The fall of the cloak in the bottom pic seems sort of weird to me, though I'm not sure exactly why. And I'm not sure the photo works as a background, I'd have tried to play around with some filters to get the effect of it looking like a drawing.

Namor by Alchematrix
Very cool background, that's a cool texture to it. Nice work overall, particularly the ears. The kilt's mostly good, but a touch blurry in spots. And the skin tone seems kind of faded.

Lord Flash by sickboy_ukuk
Good work, as usual. You do these Bruce Timm BTAS style pics quite well. A few minor nitpicks: the mouth seems to wide, the neck looks to be off centre (given the perspective, I think it should be a bit further to the right), and the shapes of both knees are a bit odd.

Tigra by Rheul
Pretty good piece. The fur texture is very nice indeed, good work on that. It is, however, angled the same everywhere, and doesn't conform to the shape of her body at all. The bikini seems a bit flat, I think it could use more shading.

Spider-man by lordmesa
Favourite pic of the day. Awesome work, as though there was any doubt. Great linework, and absolutely gorgeous colouring. The lighting on his hand is amazing... er, no pun intended. The perspective is great as well. That said, I now nitpick... First, the eyeholes are mismatched, the screen right one is (rather visibly) a shade bigger. Secondly, the position of his right arm and hand (the one at the back) is kinda weird, I really think it should be further out. That pose just looks distinctly uncomfortable.

Catwoman Poster by gavin north
Cool work. The cat eye's nicely done, and all the additions are good as well. The rips look kind of fake, probably because they're all completely flat. Maybe try to give the impression of some of them being folded over a bit, or angled up or down.

Spider-girl by kevin newburn
Good piece, though not your best. The collage in the background is very cool. Some of the highlights are indeed a bit wonky, and she seems sort of misproportioned... is it just me, or do her legs look rather too small? It'd also be nice to see a shot of her from the front!

Captain America by xavix
Nice piece. The A's floating, and the lighting on his forehead seems sort of odd. I'd mention something involving the phrase "art notes", but you're not actually reading this, are you?

Superman by chamorrosausage
Welcome to the DCG! Great debut. This is a very nice drawing, and nicely coloured as well. The skin tone's rather yellow though. And lose the lens flare, there are far better ways to do that kind of effect, which don't cause those ugly interference patterns. Another thing, the colouring doesn't give the impression of the glow from his hand being a light source.

Garfield's Big Secret Drawing 1 by Jedi Knight Pas-Jo Dacle
Heh. Funny. Nicely drawn, as well. I look forward to the colour version.

If Looks Could Kill by StatXero
Now that's Frankensteining! Very cool piece, though not your best. Gorgeous colours, particularly the skin tone and the costume. There's a few problems, though. First, the hair's really painty and its edges are too solid. Secondly, there's the anatomy. The hips are weird, there's an odd bulge to the screen right one that doesn't seem to fit the pose. The shoulders of the middle pair of arms are weird. In the comic cover, they come out from under the armpits of the top pair, but the lighting on this piece, plus the lack of distinct biceps and shoulder muscles (which are, in fact, completely absent!) makes them look to be in front of the top pair, which is just weird. It's hard to specifically describe the problem, but just compare the musculature of that area in this pic to that in the original cover. And while I'm talking about arms, the bottom pair seems rather off centre. Still, despite my many complaints, this is a damn good piece. More please!
