Okay.. I want to do a picca for her and also the RP I'm in and this involes turning brown leather white. http://perfectpeople.net/media/celebs/729/90218-1086780301.jpg
How can I do it with out negating the image bacuse that just looks bad! I'm using both PSP7 & 8.. Help if you can.

In photoshop I would copy the leather areas and paste it on top of itself. Then I would lower the saturation level of the layer until it was black and white. Then do some dodging and burning using "highlights, midtones and shawdows" until it looks ok. Then go to the leather on the original layer and select it and use select color and change it so it is maybe a blue or yellow tint. Then make the upper black and white layer semi transparent and maybe it will look good.

As I also use psp, you should check out the Curves option. Go to adjust>colour and hue>curves. It might not be "colour and hue" but it's one of the top three.
