Rogue In Flight by KLA 1- Nice piece.
Flame Sorceress by Nickice- Neat charicter, nice style, good piece.
Mc Feliciastrophe Rmx by Level1- Cool design. A very proffesional job.
My Fantastic Four Cast by Hughes- Good piece. Interesting that you chose to make it black and white.
The Spectacular Spider-man by Spiderman620815- Nice sketch.
Wolverine: The Movie by stillhbk- Both choices look pretty good. No problems that I can see.
Nick Fury by DarrenJSeeley- Fairly good. One tip- the gun probably should have been blurred a bit to match Steve.
X3 Gambit by NightScroller- Pretty nice piece. A little angular cut job, and a bit of the original picture is still on his head, but pretty good. Have to say, while Bloom is a good enough actor, he's the last guy on Earth, (save the members of Backstreet and Nsyk,) who I'd cast as Gambit.
Catwoman Lego Sticker by gavin north- Legos with cleavage disturb me, but I'll quickly say that the job you do on these suckers is enough to fool me into thinking Lego really made them.
Sailor Venus by daekazu- Favorite pic if the day. Great lines aside, great coloring aside, you do something truly amazing with Sailor Moon charicters. Something I can honestly say I've never seen done before: You make those over caffinated, deformed little freaks look DIGNIFIED! Most sincerily, I salute you.
Kevin Newburn's Spy Girl (colored) by localhero- Good color job.
X3: Doop by kev_incal- You made another good Doop. That sounds nasty. "Honey, did Rover go number 2 today?" "Yeah, Donna, he went this morning, then tonight he made another good Doop." (Sorry. But seriously, good piece.)
Dcg Excalibur - Nightcrawler by Lady D- Fun piece, well done. Zac should get a kick out of it.
Ghost Rider Movie Poster by shadowmaige- Not the approch I'd have taken to a GR poster, but I can't fault your effects or layout. Good piece.
Scarlet Spider by M- Fun little piece. Almost forgot about that guy.
Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut! - Pencils by Matt Cruea- Welcome to the DCG! Good debut. Only possible problem: either Juggy or Spidey is to big or to small, respectively. Unless the size difference was for effect, in which case, forget i said anything.
Great update, guys!
Junkyard, Proud Defender of This Nation's Garbage Dumps.
CROW- Hey Joel, what are these films trying to teach us about life?
JOEL- I guess they're trying to say that if we're born, and then we die, then there's lots of padding in between.
Rogue In Flight by KLA 1
Not bad at all. The pencils seem quite good, and the colouring's good as well. It all seems rather blurry, though. And I think the body could use more detail. Anatomical weirdness: the head. I think the headband's too low down and, consequently, the face looks squashed, whereas the forehead looks stretched. Plus, the right / screen left forearm looks overly long as well.
Flame Sorceress by Nickice
Yeah, I think this is one of your best! Cool design, and very nice work on the drawing itself. The orb is indeed very nice. The right / screen left shoulder seems a touch odd.
Mc Feliciastrophe Rmx by Level1
Another very nice wallpaper.
My Fantastic Four Cast by Hughes
Quoth the B, "Let there be art notes." Thank you. This is quite nice, mind you. Cool layout.
The Spectacular Spider-man by Spiderman620815
Good drawing, as usual. Mind you, that hand is just ridiculously huge, even given the perspective. And by my estimation, the angle of the arm would place the hand a lot closer to the body than it is. The other hand seems a bit big too.
Wolverine: The Movie by stillhbk
Good for what it is. The work on both versions of the mask is great, nice highlights. Both are good, though I think the second version fits the feel of the costume better.
Nick Fury by DarrenJSeeley
Pretty good costuming, but this is really, really blurry. I mean, really blurry. Plus he looks a bit stretched lengthwise. The pouches look very flat, they completely lack depth. Those kinds of things are not easy to manip, mind you. The way sharper gun sticks out a lot. Cool background.
X3 Gambit by NightScroller
Remember kids, art notes are your friends. I'm assuming this is a head-on-body sort of deal with some power effects. If so, perfectly decent on both counts. The playing card's power effect is kinda restrained, though. Needs more electricity arcing around it, more oomph. Easier said than done obviously, but then dperceful has done a very nice tutorial on the subject...
Catwoman Lego Sticker by gavin north
As always, your lego stuff is damn fun. Good piece, no real complaints, but it doesn't really look like a sticker. Not sure what you could do about that, though.
Sailor Venus by daekazu
I may not share Junky's... "understated dislike" for Sailor Moon, but I'll agree that this is my favourite pic of the day. You're one of those artists whose work makes me sooo jealous... along with devilbunny and Kev Newburn. I wish I could draw half as well as you lot! This is awesome. Great drawing. Great colouring -- you do that so well! Your skin tones are a thing of beauty. The hair's awesome as well. Great background as well. Basically perfect. I can't see any problems with it! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to off and pout. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif
Kevin Newburn's Spy Girl (colored) by localhero
Beautiful. Gorgeous colouring, especially the hair -- that's some of the best colouring I've ever seen for hair. The katanas are great as well. Nice work also on the background, it fits the character seamlessly -- which is surprisingly rare when colouring drawings.
X3: Doop by kev_incal
Damn, that's one handsome pickle. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif Great work, as usual. You do the best manips of Doop. Okay, you do the only manips of Doop, but if someone else tried, I seriously doubt they'd do them so well. And I absolutely demand a tutorial on how you do those awesome backgrounds. I think you're hands down the best artist in the gallery when it comes to abstract-type bgs. I'd love to know how you do it.
Dcg Excalibur - Nightcrawler by Lady D
I'm glad the tutorial helped. I now know what Dan means when he talks about how he feels when people tell him his art school work has helped them. Great piece, I think your best in a while. Very nice skintones, great blues. And good Posering and costuming. His hips and legs look really small, though. And your right about those wrinkles! *ouch* Nice costuming otherwise, particularly the blacks and whites. Cool background as well, and a very nice BAMF effect (I guess). I'd have made the cloud wrap around him better -- put it all around rather than just behind him. Anyway... I look forward to seeing the rest of this series. Such as Hex. Yeah, I'm biased, what'd'ya expect? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif
[Man, this is taking forever! Sorry, but I'm getting tired and thus gonna skimp a bit on the rest of these.]
Ghost Rider Movie Poster by shadowmaige
Nice and simple. I rather like it, though I really think there should be something in that flat black background. Something more than just, y'know, blackness. And there should be flames, can't forget those. Cool font, BTW.
Scarlet Spider by M
Well done, no real complaints. Maybe use a more comic booky font for the captions.
Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut! - Pencils by Matt Cruea
Welcome to the DCG! Pretty good debut. Anatomical weirdness! Juggy's shoulders look weird, overly hunched. Ditto his hands, which seem too small in comparison to the wrists. And Spidey looks really stretched, just look at his head! And the size difference is indeed very overstated.

I loved D's Nightcrawler! D, its one of your best pieces so far and I can't wait to see the entire series! I'm glad y'all liked the Doopster. As for backgrounds, is it really tutorialworthy? Each background is made with different techniques so I dunno I'd do...

I usually can't do reviews (no time), but I have a pic at the frontpage,Daekazu's Sailor v is also there and there was a hidden surprise ,a pic of Kev!So, I have to do a UIR. Please excuse my typos - there is a long time since I wrote in english for the last time...
Rogue in flight:The pose doesn't look exactly "in flight" for me, but the color work looks pretty nice, specially because you did it over a penciled, not inked, work. And yes, I also hate the way pencil looks when we scan it.
Flame Sorceress: Again, we see the point of penciled work scaned. The colors look pretty neat (specially 'cause you did it with pencils)...You could work a bit in her anatomy - the leg and the hands need more attention.
MC Feliciastrophe RMX: It's a nice picture, but I admit, I don't really understand your creation process. It looks really pro, really cute.
MY fantastic four cast: Nice casting, nice design as well.
The Spectacular Spider-Man: Good pose, I liked the forced perspective. It could be bigger - so we could see the details!
wolverine: the movie: I believe the black one looks better...But I do prefer Hugh Jackman without mask ^^.
Nick Fury: Too blurred. I almost didn't recognize Seagal...It really needs more definition, more sharpness.
X3 Gambit: It needs some work in the edges...And, forgive me Gambit fans, I hope he's not at X3.
CATWOMAN LEGO STICKER: This is really, really funny, specially the cleavage http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif!!
Sailor Venus: perfect. Simply perfect. Did I mention it's perfect??!! I LOVED it. Thanks Daekazu http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif!!
Kevin Newburn's Spy Girl (Colored): Awesome colors!! I loved specially her hair. Thumbs up!!
X3: Doop: Kev, you do look good as a pickle!! It shares the place of my favorite pic of the day with Sailor V.
Ghost Rider Movie Poster: simple and effective. Nice blending of images.
Scarlet Spider: Good work...The blue shirt could have a bit moe volume in the back, maybe??
Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut! - Pencils: Welcome aboard Matt!! I liked your lines, are pretty firm, but the anatomy really needs some work.
My piece: Glad you guys liked!! The wrinkles look really terrible...I'm having mouse problems (this stupid thing doesn't obbey me :P), and plus, I was a loooong time without work in manips.About the hips and legs, I dunno - I used the Poser guy, the legs can look weird because there were massive changes in the feet area. It's also cool to know you are looking foward for the rest of the series - it means I'm doing a good job http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif!
Kisses and keep up the good job!

If you even have any techniques you use fairly often, I for one would love to know something of them. I'd kill to be able to do backgrounds as well as you do...

I saw Lady D on the front page and I just had to stop by and review!
Rogue In Flight by KLA 1- Nice pencils, a little blurry.
Flame Sorceress by Nickice- Love the skirt. Great colors.
Mc Feliciastrophe Rmx by Level1- Very clean! Great job!
My Fantastic Four Cast by Hughes- The Thing looks so cute!
The Spectacular Spider-man by Spiderman620815- Good sketch.
Wolverine: The Movie by stillhbkI like the yellow one! I really like the yellow one! You know what would have been cool? Maybe if you added some more comic elements to the other characters on the left side, it could be like a comics versus movie pic. Nice work.
Nick Fury by DarrenJSeeley- Ah! Steven Seagul! I used to have an unhealthy obsession with the man. Cool idea, but the image looks a little blurry.
X3 Gambit by NightScroller- Oh God, no! Not Orlando! Now I love Orlando and I love Gambit, but not together. Orli is just way too pretty to play my Gambit. He just lacks that bad boy aura, the long french nose, that come hither stare. Okay, okay, I am very particular about my Remy, but I am the resident Gambit stalker. It's my job. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif
Catwoman Lego Sticker by gavin north- Oh, this is so cool! I love it! It would make a great sticker.
Sailor Venus by daekazu- The coloring is so beautiful. Simply beautiful.
Kevin Newburn's Spy Girl (colored) by localhero- I really like the coloring job! Nice work!!!
X3: Doop by kev_incal- LMAO!!!!! Oh, Kev, this is great! Still lmao.... Okay, amazing work! The power effect in the background is first class. Totally awesome!!!!!
Dcg Excalibur - Nightcrawler by Lady D- This was the reason I stopped by today. My favorite pic today! The bamf effect is amazing. The background is amazing. Oh, what the heck the whole pic is amazing! And I could definately see Zac as being Nightcrawler!
Ghost Rider Movie Poster by shadowmaige- Neat skull shadow effect!
Scarlet Spider by M- Cute.
Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut! - Pencils by Matt Cruea- Clean lines! They look a little squished.

Heart stopping...can't breathe...choking...
Okay, I'm okay. I'm gonna be okay. I will make you love Gambit. C'mon, what about X-Men #8, the now famous boissen berry pie incident? It's classic Gambit propaganda. Read and you shall love.
