s'LIKE JAVA FOR THE SOUL...But you can find answers to your questions in the menue on the left IN "Site Policies & Help"

That's were I found this..."If you are looking for specific feedback on your art then look for a topic with a name like U.I.R. 1/1/2001. The U.I.R. is a long-standing tradition on the gallery message boards. U.I.R. stands for Update In Review. There should be one for every date on which there was a gallery update. In that topic artists critique and comment on the work that went on display that day."

zat help?

Rise with the setting sun.

On the titles:
Some people prefer the basic, non- confusing "UIR month/day/year."
Others like to use "UIR" as "You're," as in, "UIR In My Seat month/day/year."
I, myself, prefer to just stick "UIR" into famous movie or book titles, like "War and UIRs month/day/year."

I hope this has helped you in UIR inquiries.

Or UIR day/month/year. Or UIR for anything that sounds vaguely like "you're."

Anyway... Update In Review means we take a look at the art for an update, and offer what constructive criticisms we can. All in the hope of the artists benefitting from our advice and improving their craft. It's that simple.

UIR's are done on a volunteer basis....remember the person that does a UIR is doing it on his/her own free time. a warm thank you is always welcome to the reviewer.

Yeah, and be sure to check out the U.I.R., dated for "03/09/2004 UIR"....

Comments needed for the artists of that date....
