nothing special. quick and selective uir, help get the ball rolling.

here we go again: lol. nice....bat-mite...too funny. who's next ambush bug?

blue devil: that is cool...i love the blade/trident/spear thingy.

lady captain: nice colors...very vibrant and really nice. the shields a little flat...but the colors match up well. nice layout.

70's legion: the amazing part is i'm used to seeing this stuff from kev incal all of the time so i thought it was his for a minute...and i mean that as a compliment. very nice costuming...some jaggies on his left arm...but it's still one of your better pieces. nice costume lines.

elizabeth: i think you should be proud of this...i'm used to seeing some wonky arm/leg/hand sizes from you...but here i don't see any of that. i like the shading but i think overall it's too dark, especailly her torso....it just makes her look 2d. nice power effect...very nice. work on keeping your costume lines consistent...try uning the pen tool or something similar....it will really help. strong work...one of you best.

Not too bad a color job… Your placement of some of the brighter highlights has a bit of a flattening effect but the image still pops.

Surprisingly nice… The lines are a lot cleaner and the posterized coloring works at these low resolutions. The better you two get the more I’m warming up to the mix of photo, and simple line and coloring.

This is very nice. You have managed to make a blue woman with two fingers on each hand look quite lovely. The skin, the eyes, and even the decorative elements all work well for me.

That 70s Legion – Livewire by MilleniumBum
Well the distinction of my having the only Topher Grace manip in the gallery is now history. This is pretty good. The seams have some odd highlights and shadows. They could be blended a bit more to create a better transition.

Not bad… This needs more lights and darks in the red area. Wesley Snipes could stand some smoothing as well.

This would have worked much better with some kind of background. I’m not even hating the costume redesign.

Good work on the face and hair. I like the background and the power effect. The problem I have with this image is the lack of definition on her body. You have some nice detail in the costume but it’s hard to make them out. You have a nice start going with the arms and legs. Find a reference to go off of and keep working it.

Thanks. By the way, I'd shave my head if it would get DC to bring the Inferior Five back into continuity and give them an ongoing series, so I'm not saying all the retro stuff is bad. Just everything they've done with Wondy and Beast Boy. Oh, and the obvious plans to bring back Hal. And Impulse becoming Kid Flash. And the Doom Patrol being re-written. And...

... and Aquaman's "new" costume. But that's it, really.

Thanks for the comments. I was not so happy with how the coloration on his face turned out. I was looking for more of an agressive appearance (look, or appeal).

I just wanted to say HaHaHa, and I couldn't agree more. Kyle Rayner and Impulse are two of the finest modern characters DC has created,(at least two of my favorite modern creations) so they deserve their own identitys. I mean, c'mon! Kid Flash? Mark Waid deserves more respect. As does Mike Weiringo. And Humberto Ramos. And I don't mind getting the GL corps back but not at the expense of the most imaginative GL ever. Plus Kyle is one of the few superhero characters who shares our love of creating art. And I don't care what anyone says, Aquaman DESERVES a beard and a harpoon damnit! Thanks Junkyard for the chance to vent some growing frustration and for the laughs, of course. I'm not online that often, but I will definately catch up with you all later. The artwork rocks. cheers
