I have experienced some Internet issues today and yesterday. The gallery queue is much lower than usual though, and so we can afford to miss an update. Sadly, there will be no update until Sunday night.
Later.

i remember when we cut down the daily updates to 3 times a week because there were fewer submissions. now it's still decreasing??? i dunno, i feel depressed about that. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/frown.gif

Yeah, I noticed that the line was unusually short when I submitted something last night. I guess I SHOULD make it a series. (What am I talking about? You'll know soon enough!! MUHAHAHAHAHAH!!)

Only 12 images posted tonight. I need to be able to save some for the next update and there are few that are not done by 2 or 3 single artists.

Has this ever happened before?

Oh yeah, it's definitely happened before. What many people may not realize is that when the gallery started getting quite popular, Robbo increased the daily image number from 12 to 16. Three updates a week of 12 images each was the norm for a long time.
As of now, though, I wouldn't call this a shortage. The queue is lower than it was in the summer and even last spring, but the number of images isn't too bad. Unfortunately, more than half of the images can be credited to three or four artists. No fault of theirs, of course, but only one of each of theirs is going to be posted per day.
This has definitely happened before. One day I'll log in and the queue will have jumped substantially. We go through phases.

since kev_incal has not made any remarks...i'll stand in.
essex was drunk/and or at a strip bar. the queue is not short...he is just spending too much time at his local bar or too much time and money at "the boob hut." he just wants to make us think the queue is light so he can drink more, or visit sexsation (who will be appearing at the boob hut this thursday thru saturday).

sorry essex, it just doesn't feel like a missed update without kev making some drunk comments.

I...I had too much sake, plum wine, and Tokyo Teas this weekend - apologies for the delayed response. As our trusty dperceful mentioned and a reliable source confirms, reports place one A. Essex Thur at Toronto's infamous Jugahut during their even infamouser 'Guys' Amateur Night'. Details are sketchy, and photos are sketchier, but let's just say the A. Essex Thur was the night's big winner http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/tongue.gif

So was there a flood of new submisions since the last update? I posted something out of the archives just to help ensure todays.

Good work, dan! You stood in for Kev very well. Had me laughing. The real Kevin did too http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif
And yup, we did have a surge of submissions. The queue increased by like 30% since the last update!

I have 8 other segments to that Arch Enemies thing waiting in the gallery, so I know where some of that's come from.
(I'm not rushing it, by the way. I've been chewing on the ideas for a while now, and the big nose charicters are easy to work with.)
