Simpler than some of your others but cute.

Superman 2005: The Animated Movie by Level1
Very wallpaper.

Blade Trinty: mock one sheet style B. by DarrenJSeeley
An excellent poster layout that should have been worth your time to polish.

The Black Cat by DarkElektraPhoenix
This is a good basic drawing. The figure shows a good beginners understanding of anatomy. Her face is a bit uneven but still attractive. Again I advise that you spend some time at the library to get some drawing books to practice with, if you wish to improve. This shows improvement over your first post.

Jeri Ryan as Sue Storm by M
Dream on M… can’t have everything, but your version is nice. Good Job.

JSA 3 by MysticMorgan
Sure go ahead… taunt us with your castaways. Another damn fine piece.

Arch Enemies: Part 2 by Junkyard
It’s always the simple things we forget to consider as vulnerable. That insidious K-neuf. Is Robbo that short? Here I thought that he was like the neighbor on “Home Improvement”. Another great one.

Naomi Watts as Emma Frost by Darthgoblin
Simple yet effective… nice job.

Chynna is the She-Hulk! by star-pac2.0
Welcome aboard… The purple leather looks good, but the skin is far too over saturated. Good choice for the casting.

Thor the Movie by iam
The quality is a bit low. Maybe if you had reduced the resolution you could have kept the quality level higher. Brad actually looks like a good candidate for Sanctuary of Rising Stars.

Bday gift Oct 7 DCG Excalibur Captain England by Lady D
Another cool one, I can’t wait for you to start the clan. Happy Birthday, Bearbot.

DynoMutt & The Blue Falcon By Jab & by Winterhawk
I saw this at Heromorph and loved it. I could go nitpicky, but I wont since you two have captured these guys so perfectly. I don’t know which one of these versions of the characters cracks me up more. Bravo!

Batman Distorted by Biohaz_Daddy
Essex will post anything.

Wonder Man by QuantumFX
Wow what a dramatic visual… and he’s so smooth and shiny. I don’t understand the texture stuff in the background, but it sure looks cool.

Vantage point for an air show by KLA 1
Another wow… a little more time smoothing the legs and I would just be hanging my jaw instead of wagging it.

The Truth by smokeykong
No art notes, so I don’t know how much of this is your work… other than the messy edges.

Thank you. Guess I better get those bifocals though.

Thyme by MaidenRaine1300- Another fun concept- And another observation: My father is blond, my mother is brunette, but I have black hair, and my sister is strawberry blond. Would all Rougue's kids have the same hair colors?

Blade Trinty: Mock One Sheet Style B. by DarrenJSeeley- Nice design. Though sinse they're playing up the tough girl angle on Biel, I'm not sure the distressed expression she has on the poster ould fit.

The Black Cat by DarkElektraPhoenix- Nice picture. Looks more "fun" than any Black Cat pics I've seen. "Sexy" tends to be the key focus, generally.

Jeri Ryan As Sue Storm by M- Good paint job.

Jsa 3 by MysticMorgan- Not as good as the other two, but still pretty darn good.

Arch Enemies: Part 2 by Junkyard- Wow, I did the math, and this whole story will take a month to tell, with an interruption pretty soon for JLA/AVENGERS. On this part itself, not much to say.

Naomi Watts As Emma Frost by Darthgoblin- Lots of details here, nice. Does Frost's hair have a white streak in the comic, or was that a personal touch?

Chynna Is The She-hulk! by star-pac2.0- Pretty good attention to detail, here. Nice. Perhaps you could have highlighted the edges of the nose more, but I'm not sure how you would have gone about it anyway.

Thor The Movie by iam- I can't belive I didn't consider Pit for the role. Nice mix of Frankenstiening and from scratch elements. Making it smaller would have improved the quality quite a bit, though.

Bday Gift Oct 7 Dcg Excalibur Captain England by Lady D- YIKES! Funny, well done pic.

Dynomutt & The Blue Falcon By Jab & by Winterhawk- Pretty amazing piece. Funny, too. Unfortunately, that "live action" Scooby always incites feeling of violence in me.

Batman Distorted by Biohaz_Daddy- Interesting.

Wonder Man by QuantumFX- Nice effects and coloring.

Vantage Point For An Air Show by KLA 1- Pretty good. The legs get a little smudgy.

The Truth by smokeykong- Interesting. Is that a clay shield?

Thor The Movie by iam- A better tag line would be: "Some doctors THINK they're a God, Donald Blake IS ONE."

Naw. It's a good drawing, nice colors, but, I just don't... get it, you know?

Fair enough... I can't say that I "get it" myself really. I sometimes get compulsions to conduct "artistic" experiments. I realize that the results are rarely universal.

Blade Trinty: nice layout....just pixelly as hell. blade should be the major focus...not the shotgun.

jsa3: again, silid work...love the fly-up skirt part, nice golden age touch.

Arch Enemies: Part 2: isn't that the eternal question? where does the cord really lead indeed?

Naomi Watts as Emma Frost: love to see a much larger scale pic. the costume on the neck looks nice.

she hulk: welcome to the dcg. next time experiment with some varying skin tones.

dynomutt and blue falcon: ha! i love it....used to watch that show all of the time. god i hated dynomutt. nice rework on scooby...looks just right. i like blue falcon...nice subtle highlights and use of varying blues. not sold on the super muscely blue falcon...but it works. nice manip, both of you.

batman disoriented: hmmmmmmmm. i applaud the experiment, but i don't see the point, you know? i think if you wanted to go "abstract" you might go with some quick painty strokes. i think it would have worked well just looking normal...but it definitely is different and i respect the thought behind it.

wonder man: i've always liked this image by you. at the base, it's simple...a recolour and some minor costuming. but you took the extra time to add a unique power effect. nice work.

Vantage point for an air show: great art notes! nice work on bringing it all together. i like it....the costuming is nice and the white looks well done. the think the hands....well it looks like she has "man hands." they just look too square. nice job on the background...shows imagination....you could have easily left her on a empty background...but you took the time to make it more than that.

I am compelled to make two points:

1) I had a real hard time coming up with a title to post this thing under and your play on what I used is actually the better of the two.

b) What is "normal"?

let's not get philosophical. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif

you know what i meant...i think it would have been a stronger piece without the distortion. don't get me wrong....it's cool...really striking, at the same time different.

Just a pointless post saying that I can identify KLA 1's "unidentified swimsuit model". She's called Janina Frostell and she, like yours truly, is Finnish.

The whole point with the Wonderman manip was to create Kirby Krackles (as Jim Lee calls them.) I've got a Silver Surfer manip planned for a few months from now to revisit the idea.

Thanks for the critique. The hands actually came from a female model and they were only recolored. So I guess she had male looking hands.
