Jsa 6 by MysticMorgan- Another one of those spectacular "unfinished pieces." You sir, raise the bar.

Arch Enemies: Part 4 by Junkyard- Hmmm. Looking at it again, is that Senior W guy offensive? If so, my apologies.

Lsh - Dawnstar by MilleniumBum- Very nice. Best costume redisign I;ve seen in a while.

Originalconcept: Hex by show_u_who_i_am- Neat concept, nice costuming, nice effects.


Lady Punisher Ii by xavix- Great costuming, as always. Never will understand the appeal of a "Lady Punisher," though.

Elektra by anaque- Nice drawing. She looks sad though. What's the story?

Trinity by Captain Sigma- Makes a Trinity movie look almost workable. Nice job.

Ra's Al Ghul by Mattomb82- Nice pic. Good work on the hair.


The Dark Knight by DarrenJSeeley- Interesting.

Kymaera Again by Alchematrix- Good piece. Nice metal work and skin recolorization.

The Superman by marcushislop- A good tribute.

aint nobody better: wow, i remember that series. i never watched it....but the sad part is, i would know the answer if a trivia question were asked. i would go for a better, higher quality base pic...something clean. as always...nice effort.

scarlet witch: nice cape, i like the short cape look.

bloodstorm: what's up with the lines? sorry i'm not familiar with the character so i don't know if the lines represent something or not.

jsa: ha! sticks would love this. this is a great series. i love that lead arm on sandman, the folds of the jacket are beautiful.

jack in the box: wouldn't the grand prize game be much more interesting when a clown like this hosted it? if anyone gets that reference, you get a prize. nice work, i olve th costuming...the highlights on the black are very well done.

arch enemies: captain planet...omg, that was the worst cartoon ever...it was like a blue billy ray cyrus. nice work...great series.

dawnstar: very cool. some awesome work....this series of manips is such a wonderful addition to the gallery. costuming is always top notch on these....i wish i could do this good.

hex: with that strong power source on her hand....maybe whip up some lighting on the costume, right now it seems too dark.

punisher: no art notes.

Elektra: cool. nice work on the pants. the hair seems like it's one piece, it just doesn't flow. try taking a look at my hair tutorial in the Art School...it might be helpful.

trinity: supes is just too pixelly, i would go for a better base on him. i like the layout of characters. maybe tighten the piece up a little.

Ra's al Ghul: very nice. welcome to the DCG, nice casting choice too.

dk: watch your shadows...this one is giving off a slight bevel effect. again unique styles make for interesting takes on characters.

Kymaera again: a much better revisit. i think the metal looks fine...it's hard to perfect. check out my tutorial in the art school on metal...just one way of many to do a metal effect.

the superman: the title says it all, he is "the" superman. he wil be missed by all.

lushy: no art notes. interesting...i can see the selection "ants."

Very beautiful… The only problem is the wings. It doesn’t look as though you have done much to them. Everything else is so nearly perfect they really stand out.

Good effects, especially the eyes… The costuming is good, but a little basic. The wrist band looks as though it is made of a flexible material which may or may not be what you intended. If it is it worked.

The matrix meets the punisher meets the Brady bunch staircase meets Battlezone meets peekaboo fashions. Well done and enigmatic.

You have some real basic problems with proportions and anatomy. You are further advanced with the coloring and shading, which look good here.

Trinity by Captain Sigma
Bats and Wondy both look pretty good, but Supes is just creepy. I know you don’t like it, but this version of Wondy does resemble her Superfriends counterpart. It’s a combination of the skin tone, eye makeup and coloring, and the primary colors used.

Good casting and some convincing eyebrows. The gray hair looks a little glued on, but overall a good piece.

I like the interplay between the bat symbol and signal with the bright blues. Also with the relative simplicity of his face it gives the impression of youthful less world weary Batman. The side of his face completely in shadow and the red eye foreshadow the darker side yet to fully manifest in the young hero. Or this is just a cool little pic of Batman that I am over analyzing.

Well, the cartoon WAS mediocer, but as a card carrying member of both the Audubon Society and the Arbor Day Foundation, I'm a bit on Billy Ray Planet's side. I think it'll end up making for a couple of good jokes later on.

Aside for the pixellation of the base pic (which you probably can't do much about), this is quite good, especially for Paint. You guys do really good work for that app, I must. I don't think I've ever actually said that before. I'd still look into upgrading though, there are free apps out there with quite a good set of features... GIMP comes to mind.

Cool design, decent pic. Bits are very blurry, especially the pentagram and tiara. The edges are a bit messy as well. I like it overall though.

Cool pose, nice drawing, probably your best to date. Anatomy's a bit wonky, and the lines are distracting. I'm not sure what they're supposed to be (unless they're just the unfortunate side-effect of having drawn on a ruled page, in which I'd suggest using blank paper!), but I'm sure there's a better way to do the effect. But again, this is a nice drawing overall.

You kidding man? These are better than some of my finished pics. This is probably the weakest, cause of the lack of detail in various things -- the shut door in the far background, her hair, that really wispy smoke -- but it's still great. I particularly love the mask.

Damn! Very nice piece. I love the fur and mask, and the main part of the costume. The fur is particularly awesome, wow. That said, I come bearing nitpicks... first, the highlights on the black are 90% gorgeous, but they're just a bit too hazy and blurry for my taste. The various additions, the discs and the wrist-things, are really flat, they completely lack the more complex shading of the rest of the pic. Stick out like a sore thumb, I'm sorry to say. Still, a damn nice piece overall. Oh, and Astro City rules.

Absolutely, drop-dead, five stars gorgeous. I mean, WOW. This may be the hottest Dawnie I've ever seen, and that includes Serayala's version from a couple years back. The costuming's basically perfect (love the redesign, BTW), the accessories are great, cool background. The only problem is the blurry wings. A huge thumbs up, and my favourite pic of the day.

A game of two halves. The drawing overall is nice, the costume is beautiful, I love the highlights and wrinkles on the pants. The skin tone's rather flat in comparison, and I agree with Dan about the hair and with Biohaz about the anatomy.

The lighting and picture quality are all over the place. Particularly, Supes' costume is really blurry. Can't really add anything else to what the others said.

Welcome to the DCG! Very good debut. The eyebrows and eyes are very nice, though the beard-thingies and white streaks in the hair are really blurry and like Biohaz said, pasted-on looking.

Good piece. The folds of the cape are great. You've a very unique (and cool) style, though I still think your work is generally a bit too blurry. Not much I can add to what the others said, except that the edges of the bat-logo are way too sharp to fit in with the remainder of the pic.

Cool piece. Great recolour, though a touch monochrome. Very nice costuming, the metal really looks quite good. Not perfect, but very nice. The hair's kinda clumpy.
