Emma Frost by MaidenRaine1300- Cool. Nice to see you guys trying some new methods. The hair looks pretty good, but the costume is a little too cloudy. Also, painting over the original costume would have been adventagous.

Spidergirl by QuantumFX- Wow. Nice details in the costume.

Halloween Jack O'lantern by Ecthelion- Man, I just read a comic with that guy a week ago! Anywhoo, nice illustration.

Halloween: Hulk Sorry by Biohaz_Daddy- I love this one. Extremely funny. One thing: I would have either used the unaltered picture for the backround, or tried to draw some rubble. It didn't dawn on me what the backround was until after Iread the punchline.

Halloween: Evil Beast Boy by bearpod91- Like I said in the thme day thread, nice debut.

Halloween: Solomon Grundy by Junkyard- Hmm. I think that if I had him cast a shadow over that tree behind him, the quality of this pic would double.

New Batman by alex_hu- Interesting concept. Retro meets Prequel.

Ice by cgrapa- Very nice. I think those eyes and hair would look better just drawn from scratch, though.

Halloween: Trick Or Treat by Majik1387- I like this one. Imaginative.

Hallowen: Franken-bat! by trekkie- Great pic. Now people are going to think that Frankenbatthumb is a parody of this!

Halloween: Vampirella's Secret Stash by Poison Ivy- That is an evil looking sweet tooth! Cool pic. Is that the neck's original angle, by the way?

Halloween: Pumpkin Queen3 by MysticMorgan- Very nice. I like your style.

Halloween: Jr's First Halloween by Graphicmouse- Hehehehehehehe! Love this one.

Halloween: Toon by Captain Invisible- Funny.

Halloween: Gotham U: Jon Crane by kev_incal- Twice creepy. Great pic.

Halloween: 30 Days Of Night by Zac- I'm glad you brought this one out of the mothballs.

As I wasn't supposed to be online ('cause my eyes still recovering), and as I don't have any halloween pic (for the same reason), i just wanted to give a big fan scream to Kev's piece.Looks awesome!!!
I will do myself a t-shirt with this: * I LOVE GOTHAM U!!!* It always give me some writing ideas...

Bloody kisses!

Emma Frost by MaidenRaine1300
I am happy to hear that you now have a more powerful program at your disposal. You two should take some time and go through the tutorials. I could see right away that this was something new and a step forward. The problem, it seems to me, is that you are attempting to use Photoshop in the same way you used Paint. Hang on to the base picture as it is a perfect one for Emma.

Spidergirl by QuantumFX
You have done really fine work on all of the parts. If taken individually the elements could be straight out of the “Photomanipulator’s Handbook” (if there was such a thing). Taken as a whole it begins to break down and just look wrong. The head looks like a man’s. The right forearm’s angle makes it appear double jointed at the elbow and its hand is too large. The highlights on the legs flatten out the structure and there should be some reflected light on the underside of her thigh and buttocks. There is more but I need to save some for the others.

Halloween Jack O'Lantern by Ecthelion
That’s my boy! Good Job! This is the best drawing you have ever done. Great debut!

Halloween: Evil Beast Boy by bearpod91
Our second 13 year old in this theme day post. Not bad for your first shot at it. Try out some of the tutorials.

Halloween: Solomon Grundy by Junkyard
That’s a good Grundy. I think it looks like someone who is wearing night vision goggles has caught him out for a late night swampy version of air guitar. Maybe to some CCR.

New Batman by alex_hu
Yeech! Just what were you trying to do?

Ice by cgrapa
You have really sweet things happening here. The armor is kick ass. The problem though is that her legs are disproportionately small to her upper body, and there is some anatomy missing in the hips and waist region.

Halloween: Trick or Treat by Majik1387
Cool, my favorites are Cyclopes and Jean, who just happen to be the strongest of the piece imho. They would have made a good piece all on their own. The rest are by varying degrees pretty blurry.

Hallowen: Franken-Bat! by trekkie
I agree with you, this is your best to date, and it is a very strong piece. I have just two little nitpicks… in the area above the belt buckle you should have just continued the suit rather than use a solid color, and the wrist guards are just sort of flat.

Halloween: Vampirella's Secret Stash by Poison Ivy
Very cool… this may sound odd, but I really like the jack o lantern.

Halloween: Pumpkin Queen3 by MysticMorgan
Now why would anyone be scared of a cute little thing like that… in a graveyard… with a shovel… and a knife… nevermind.

halloween: Jr's First Halloween by Graphicmouse
Funny idea.

Halloween: Toon by Captain Invisible
Why that little… Funny stuff.

Halloween: Gotham U: Jon Crane by kev_incal
Very cool all around. I love the T-shirt. That Scarecrow is awesome.

Halloween: 30 Days of Night by Zac
I can’t imagine what you would be unhappy about. This is better than most of the actual movie poster that get made. That is one creepy image. I wish that this was a real movie, because this makes me want to see it.

Wait... literally, "That's my boy?"

In any case, I didn't know this was a debut pic. I figured you had submitted others before, as it looks like you have a good bit of practice in drawing, Ecthelion.
