Has anyone read her books about Boudica? Dreaming the Hound, Dreaming the Bull, and Dreaming the Eagle. I saw them at the bookstore, and was wondering if they were worth my time.

Haven't read them, but if you're not sure that is what the public library is for: try the story for free!

I have now read all four of the books in this series. I thought them well worth reading, for the insight they give into the mind of an 'uncivilised' or 'tribal' person. I have to dispute her figures for Roman casualties though. If the number she states, and ratios of Roman to British dead were correct, during Caesar's conquest of Gaul in the previous century, the Roman, indeed Western European population of the time would have been annihilated!

Really? What kind of numbers are we talking about here? Millions? Hundreds of thousands?
