after a short break...
Legionnarie for a day: Violet by Lady D
This is a really fun picture. I love the Manga/Anime influences you have married to Davis design. I am not familiar with Bladepro, but somehow despite being shaded properly the bracelets come off looking flat. Still this is more fine work at the level I would expect to see from you.
Psylocke by Majik1387
You do not seem to be spending much time on these. I still think this is a cool idea and would like to see you try to develop your skills further to do it justice.
Movie Rogue by MaidenRaine1300
Now that you two have the program spend some time doing the tutorials. There are some really cool and simple techniques out there.
Legion For A Day: Gates by Junkyard
Good Stuff! That Gates is good work. I like the ambitiousness and I salute you.
Hal Jordan speaks... by bearpod91
This is a good one. The red is a little over saturated, so it looks a bit like make-up. Blood isn’t just red like that it can be brownish or bluish. I can’t wait to see the Bush pic.
colossus steelworks by mouse-O
The image is so blurry and of such low contrast that I can’t tell what is going on. I assume this is a technical problem since it appears as though you have some artistic ability.
Sequel to Batman Begins? by lightspeed83
This is a decent teaser poster. The Joker’s eyes, while a good crazy, look a little too jaundice.
Spiderman by spi
This really should have been cleaned up. What a mess, I bet I could get a good enough finger print off of this for a conviction.
Mr. J by Sonic1002
Not as good as the Hugo Weaving version but it’s okay.
Legionnarie for a day: Tellus of the Deep by Biohaz_Daddy
I swear I am in there somewhere.
Ultimate Magneto by anaque
I like this piece. The hair is a bit iffy, but changing brown to white is tough. The cape took me a minute to resolve since it is so flat. All in all, a good job.
Wasp by Albea
I think this is very well done and cute. The way you left the legs unfinished bugs me a little, but I’ll get over it.
Flame On! by NightScroller
This is one of the better versions of this picture I have seen, for what it’s worth.
CAPTAIN MARVEL & SHAZAM Family by Captain_Marvel
You have a wonderfully unique and recognizable style. I have enjoyed your posts and this one is no exception. This is also the most detailed and of the clear uploads you have done.
LoSH: Light Lass by kev_incal
If it weren’t for a little blurry grayness on her chest I would have wondered how you got her into the costume for this photo. I love the legion text at the bottom.
Ultimate Prof. X by anaque
This is a good choice of casting. The image is just too grainy.

Yeah... I wasn't as pleased with this piece as I was with my Hugo Weaving Joker. But, I wanted to try one of the people who were bieing considered for the role.

to sonic: i thought that was Jamie Kennedy. u kno that guy from "malibu's most wanted" but when u look closer and see the clothes, u see that matrix feeling. except for the wierd office background but i suck at backgrounds in my pics so i shouldnt be talking.
to biohaz: the bush pic is harder to find a pic with my idea. (spioler for my idea) i'm thinking of a "in the air" flying to superman thing with bush trying to find out how to use the ring. these image search engines arent always helpful to me. anyone got a pic that can help?

I hope you are Joking. Take a look at my reviews and decide for yourself if I am the spare your feelings type.

Good point. I really liked your piece, by the way. You crossed the line from photomanip to computerized painting.
Just can't see you in that, though.
It's good stuff, Junkster. Some of the most impressive Frankensteining I've seen, ever. (Who was it that said cut-n-paste was easy?) It's not perfect, but it's a really impressive piece of work nonetheless.
There's also some great work today from, among others, kev_incal, Biohaz, Lady D and Captain Marvel. I can't do a UIR due to an incredible lack of time, though I'll try to do one for the next update.

legionnaire/lady d: it's funny for me to say this...but the contrasts are not as subtle as your other work. i like all of the little legion emblems. the skin tones match up pretty well. try out this cool link (http://www.idigitalemotion.com/tutorials/guest/skin_tone/skintone.html) for a nice take on skin tones. a fine addition to the theme day.
psylocke: ha! i have that pic of joss stone...couldn't figure out who to manip her as.
movie rogue: she looks like a little elf. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif anyways....the hair is blurry...but one of your better versions of hair.
legion/junkyard: damn your resourceful. best manip with the use of a teddy bear.
hal jordan: i would go the extra mile and try out a costume. i agree with bio's remarks on the blood...i have a tutorial in the art school that might be of some help.
collossus: i like it...the lighting is a little dull.
sequel: i'm never a fan of re-hashing an old piece and putting it into another (especially purple hands). anyways....the layout is not bad and it's clean selections.
spiderman: no art notes....incidentally...great webbing.
mr j: nice eyes. sorry...i am just burned on these same...very similar joker images. there is nothing that sets these apart from any of the others.
Legionnarie/biohaz: well that is just plain cool. that scale texture is very, very cool. i have no idea who the character is...but this is good work. brilliant colors...very nice.
Ultimate Magneto: cool way to bring it all together. the torso bands feel flat...try some subtle lighting on either edges...might help the wrap.
wasp: no art notes...but as always..nice work.
flame on: nice use of filters.
captain marvel: you have a very interesting style....and it works. great airbrushing.
light lass: i feel bad...i never read legion...i know of them...but that's about it. as usual...great costuming...nice wrinkles.
ultimate prof: nice casting for the ultimates version.

the reason for the "no costume" thing is because i wanted a retired look for him.i made his clothes green for a little reminder that its a green lantern guy you're looking at. it was my first try with a green lantern ring so its not good in this pic. i think i'm going to try out the tutarial for scars for another pic. and for the bush pic: i think its ganna be a long time because of the low amount of useful pics on the web. and the worst thing to do is draw the pic and put bush's face on the body...no way is that ganna happen.

wouldn't the ring kinda of be a hint that he was a green lantern? anyways...it was a minor suggestion to try and experiment further in your manips and really do something different than most artists.

Thanks for all the kind comments on my Gates piece, by the way. I'd do a UIR, but I'm rather busy right now. Suffice to say, this was a fun update overall.
