I did up a UIR for the gallery that Esex noted as partial update. One of you moderators types may want to move it here.

Why don't you just copy and paste it?

Guess I was looking for permission as it amounts to a double-posting. Thanks.

UIR Going to try again. This gets some of them done.
X-Men Children: Chance by Majik1387 ... Good idea. Keep practicing with the program you are using and you will be able to make the lines more defined without making them hard. As is they look blurry. What art program are you using? Art notes are needed for proper critique.

Be afraid, be very afraid by NightScroller ...Given the dark shadows above the eyes, I would expect comparable ones under the jaw line, along with highlights to the mask and rope in line with the suit. Kudos for crediting the photo background.

Little Superman by phonock ... I like these too much to get picky. Keep it up.

Original Concept: Damien by Sonic1002 ... Good notes, and well thought out. What I see are multiple light sources that should be effecting existing shadows or causing new ones (like the back of the hand). With such orange/ yellow-orange light from the flames, it should throw a color cast on him and his clothes that I don’t see.

Clark/Kal by KAZ ... The only real negative I see here is that big, straight edged blob look to the coloring on the forehead, but for lack of art notes, I don’t know if that was your doing or that of the person you got Clark from. Also, the “S” looks orange to me, more so, I think, because of the depth of the color in the cape. Particularly good job with the hair change.

Angelina Jolie as Catwoman by lightspeed83 ... I love almost everything about this picture except for the goggles looking crooked. I believe it is the result of trying to make the frames look thick. Good idea that doesn’t seem to translate to the picture well. Still looks great overall.

T’Challa, the Black Panther. This is mine and I am still tempted to pick at it. I seem to loose shading and highlighting gradients present in the original works once they get compressed. There are things here to pick at.

the question by rich1221 ... Great work..or..play. ‘Nuff said!

Return to Blood Mansion by FLYIN' RYAN ... A bit blurry and I don’t know if the reflection is supposed to be different from the figure or not. In this pose neither the left hand or her face would be visible in the mirror. If that is not supposed to be her reflection then it works. This is where art notes help know what to point out. Overall, I like the composition.

Chun- Li Tears by MaidenRaine1300 ... Afraid you can’t blame the typewriter for the dropped T in fighter. The drawing is okay, but you need an anime fan for a proper critique on this one.

TO THE BATCAVE by superace ... You have been anxious for this review. If you wanted the simple feel of the old Sunday comic strip ( weren’t they called “four colored”?) you succeeded. Those of us that read those in the 60's along with some of the comics back then, got used to the style. Since then however, we have all gotten a lot more sophisticated in our expectations. So, we see that the shadows in the piece are inconsistent, going to the right on the tie and neck (of the figure on the right) and yet not on the shirt or face, or anyplace else it should be. Fair or bad depends on what you were after here. I’ll leave it at that.

Lion-O by anaque ... I like that pastel look with this. It works very well. Now tell us how the changes were made. More art notes, please.
