X-Men Children: Bandit by Majik1387 ... This has been an interesting series as far as the concept. However, the program you are using does not do it justice. If the art notes said how you got from the initial pic to the finished product, it might be easier to help with improvement.

X3: Polaris by NightScroller ... “being individual and creative” is good. The lack of depth to that shirt is not. Perhaps the depth was lost in part in compression, but the shirt looks flat to me. Sorry. Notes please.

American Way by KAZ ... Good pose. Interesting shading choices. That is definitely a unique neckline on the shirt. Notes please.

Chun-Li Tears 2 by MaidenRaine1300 ... I’ll differ to the anime fans on this one.

Azrael: Prayer Interrupted by mouse-O ... I like the layout and color scheme, but the character is too blurry and this look is made worse by the in-focus portions of the picture.

Supergirl visiting her cousin’s fortress- updated. This one is mine. Took the suggestions of Biohaz and Shaylinn and made some corrections based on them. You are causing me to pay more attention to detail with these again. That is good.

Iman Storm by Richie1300 ... There are some shading problems (varying directions) and I usually prefer more detail, but still I like it. Notes please.

Spider by Ed Cheng ... Smooth switch. Well done.

Natassia Malthe as Comic Version of Typhoid Mary by DarkElektraPhoenix ... As I was recently reminded, there are curves here that need to have the garments curve with them. I cannot tel if there was an attempt to shade the kabuki side of the face. I know I have lost shading on white to file compression, so will give you the benefit of the doubt. Need notes as to what you did to make this.

Lady Phantom by M ... You have proven what I have believed for some time. Charlize Theron can wear anything and look good. Seriously though, If you had gradients to the shading they got lost on the way to the DCG (believe me that does happen), and the saturation is a bit much. Still, it’s fun, simple, and I like it.

The Scarlet Witch by the uatus ... Wow, that’s a lot of red. No notes, and I can’t tell if there was more shading than what shows up here.

what if the FF didn’t have superpowers? by bearpod91 ... You are going the right direction. Try to be more careful with the edges on re-colors. At 13 now, you’ll put us all to shame before too long.

The turkey reference was to the USA'a Thanksgiving day (11/25/04), not to the artwork reviewed.

X-Men Children: Bandit by Majik1387 -- Costume design is interesting but the overall picture is severely blurry and with the leather pants of the original still visible it only makes the added parts more obvious. As a result of the blurriness I am not sure if he is wearing a cap or if that is his hair. And as KLA mentioned it is very hard for us to offer critiques and suggestions without knowing what you did.

X3: Polaris by NightScroller -- Decent piece and cool costume design. Without art notes I have to guess what you did so.... I'm betting she was wearing a tank top because there are very obvious lines on her shoulders that look like you cloned them away and there is some weird color issues from her chest and face to her arms. The arms are much more pink than the midline of the torso. Also the color on her shirt are really flat and dark. There is almost no definition what so ever on the blue(/) -I'm guessing because its too dark for me to be sure.

American Way by KAZ -- It's that pic again. All hail the Routh stare. The lighting of the "S" is a bit bright in comparision to the rest of the body. And it is pretty obvious that the spit curl has been added. Its a bit too painty to the rest of the face.

Chun-Li Tears 2 by MaidenRaine1300 -- Pretty nice. The head seems a bit oversized for the body but otherwise a nice drawing. I really like the detail on the hair.

Supergirl visiting her cousin’s fortress by KLA1 -- Definate improvement. The costume is still a bit painty in comparision but that is only a minor nitpick.

Iman Storm by Richie1300 -- Welcome to the DCG. Nice first submission. Art notes on what you did to the pic would be appreciated in the future. The piece as a whole is rather painted looking but since the whole thing is that way it just appears to be your style. One thing I would suggest being careful of is the skin tones. The torso and especially the lower legs are very orangey.

Spider by Ed Cheng -- Pretty seamless frankensteining job. The only suggestion I would make is to have moved your fave a bit more to the screen left to make it more of a perfect half and half.

Natassia Malthe as Comic Version of Typhoid Mary by DarkElektraPhoenix -- As KLA mentioned without knowing what you did and more importantly what program you used its very hard to offer suggestions. If this was done in Paint there is very little you could do to add shading and depth to the white side of the face if you work in Photoshop you really need to add depth to the face so it doesn't appear so flat. The same is true of the hair.

Lady Phantom by M -- Its another nice piece of Paint work from you. I still would love to see you repaint the entire picture so you don't have the half painted and half photo real look.

The Scarlet Witch by the uatus -- Art notes please. The recolored parts of her are too flat. There is almost no shading on them at all. Also the headpiece is very flat and rather painty looking as well.

what if the FF didn’t have superpowers? by bearpod91 -- Interesting concept. I am not familiar with the original pic but its well done with two minor exceptions. There is a yellow bleed over at the hairline and I'm not sure what you were trying to go for with the gun but it just looks severly pixilated and distorted. To be honest if you hadn't said it was a gun in your art notes I would have been hard pressed to tell what it was

Azrael: Prayer Interrupted by mouse-O -- Art notes please. I am really at a bit of a loss as to what you did here. So I can only comment on what I can tell for sure. The background and Azrael don't really match. The colors on the background are subdued and subtle while Azrael is hyper bright and saturated. Also the background is more in focus and clearer than Azrael.

thanks for the review.i hoped no one would see the yellow being out of place. i tried to make that more with the skin but i guess it didnt work. the gun was really messed up because i kept trying to make it look futuristic but it ended up like that. couldnt get it back to normal but i think my work on the dark purple lines helped it come back to normal. i also had an idea after this johnny pic to make a sue pic but with powers. couldnt find a invisable tutorial so i dropped that idea. well now i got to find new ideas for the new year.
