View Full Version : A Sequel?

Well, the "Arch Enemies" series I've been working on nears it's somewhat open conclusion. I don't know how well the comic has been recieved; UIRs have been a bit scanty as of late. But people seem to find it fun appearing in them, so I ask:
Would anybody like to make a sequel?
You know, some story that features some of the people I left out, put in some comedy/adventure situation, maybe along the same theme?
Again, I don't know if there would be any interest, but it seemed like a fun way to illustrate an impossible story.
Any thoughts?

If I appear in this one, then I'm completely in favour of a sequel. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/confused.gif Are you asking for volunteers to appear in a sequel or to produce one? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/confused.gif

Oh! To produce one! I'm out of any good ideas about the DCG, and I imagine the big nosers and my "wit" can both get a tad stale over time.

So yeah, anybody want to volunteer to write the sequel?

Well, I need to see more Welshcat fighting. Though I think he needs to be portrayed with a kilt. :-)
This is turning into the "Knights of the Dinner Table" of C2F.

Well, I'm neither funny nor hardworking enough to produce an entire sequel, but I might just be able to do some illusitration, like draw some fight scenes or a cover or something. Like fan art.

Hmmm...
Well, it could be taken in turns.
One writer/illustratior group for the first few, then it's handed to another group, with the done pieces attached to work from.

whoever is drawing this new story (might be junkyard again) can i be included and my description is : robot bear (like bearbots look) but with a ipod sticking out on my head with the headphones on my ear listening to non-stop music... so i might never kno what your saying and will always mumble the songs. oh yea and for the writer please make me mumble songs that are the stupidest lyrics ever said in a song.

HHmmm...I doudt that I could master Junky's masterfull cartooning style, but I'd give it a shot. Maybe I could even knock heads on some ideas, like maybe my arch enemy (if I'm in it...) could be..like maybe...MadDawg,
or AngryPanda...or maybe a girl cat named HissyFit...hhmmm. What ever I'm open, if I make the cut.

I'm not in charge here, so you have to make your own cut. Contact Jedi Knight Pas-Jo Dacle (Potential Writer,) Quantum FX (Potential Artist,) and Miss Jellybrain (Potential Splash Artist,) and talk it over.
(But I'm not in charge here. Don't mistake my giving orders for being in charge.)

Sigh... it was inevitable that I WOULD get pulled into this in spite of myself. One day I'll get arrested for insider trading, I'm sure of it.
Okay, Jedi, so far you're the only one to volunteer to write, I think, so I'd say email Laughingbear and Quantum FX about possible storylines and individual joke (assuming you're doing humor) placement. Also, work out who draws which pieces: Every other, first half/second half, whatever. Then email Miss Jellybrain about if she'd like to do a cover or splashpage.

Before you do any of this, check on the "General Permission" thread for people who volunteered to be featured in "Arch Enemies" and see how many you think you can fit in and/or make good jokes for. I kinda stiffed most of them, I'm afraid.

Now, at this point, I'd say that we're set on a creative team, so unless you REALLY want to write or draw for this, (Like, aching NEED,) and you don't mind the hassle of working with a large group over email (Which can get really frustrating,) APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED.

Good luck to you all, and God Bless.

Ok, I just wrote the outline. As far as who's in it. I'm going to try to include as many active DCGers as possable.

Hey, how many installments/parts do the artists want to have? I'm thinking 12-15.

Problem....

Some personal things have come up that are going to prevent me from writing this. I really am sorry that I have to step down, but I have no choice. Sorry Junkyard... please don't sick your legion of squirels on me for this...

Don't worry, Jedi- crud happens. (I may send the squirells anyway, though.)
Either of the illustrators want to step up as writer? Or someone who's been wanting to write for this?

This is a busy season, so this may just end up getting dropped for a time, I imagine.

if i would write this i would mostly make it about me so i'm goin to hold myself away but hope to email some ideas that can help the story when someone will start writing the story.

it would be wierd if everyone could get a job at this and do one part of the story...nahh that wont work because the story wont make sense with everyones ideas mixed up...except if you organize the main idea and which part everyone should do about a main topic of that part...i think i went overboard on that so its too complicated to do. anyone else got an idea?
