Happy St. Patrick's Day! So after celebrating St. Patty's Day Eve with some friends at a pub in San Francisco, I have reaffirmed the fact that I indeed cannot drink a full Guiness! Its too much for me man! pass me the Hefeweisen! How are you celebrating? UIR to follow...

Anime Green Lantern - interesting back story. are you using photoshop to color stuff? i'd suggest playing with different glow effects. changing the settings to something like a "Dodge" can bring a new spin to things. hey I go to AAU!

She-hulk - I didn't know you were a Kevin! Kevin is such a great name, don't you think? Great attention to lighting. and great art notes of what you did too.

Poison Ivy - great costuming! the leprechaun's a little scary though - did ivy steal all the clovers from his cereal?

Groo - poor Groo, he like's a bit warm.

Aphrodite - Her hair's green! Its on theme (even if unintentional)! You've got a good command of the selection tools, why not try for the more of the body in the next one?

WW 1mil - Bumbum's back! How are you feeling? Great work on the skin texture, pretty freaky. I think Debbie said you got attacked by a bear and it ripped you leg off or something right?

Hulk SMASH! - no! me am greenest one there is! you know what i'd love to see as a MARVEL/DC crossover if they ever stopped pissing at eachother? A Bizarro vs. Dumb Hulk battle where they had to like take the SATs or do something entirely intellectual.

Brainiac - He's green! I like it...

Did I tell you guys the good news? I got Internet access at home. Finally. So, brace yourselves, the bitca's back. Sadly I don't have much bad to say about today's update.

Green Day! Green Lantern: Manga Style! - I really like this. She's super-cute. I like the keyhole in the costume, there's something that just wouldn't look right on a male GL. One nitpick, her right hand (left side of the image) seems biggish.

Green Day: She Hulk - Good consistency on the lighting. I think you could've gotten a little more saturation on the skin, but working from B/W to color is tough. The purple looks great and is really vivid but the green, especially around the face, looks washed out. Maybe it's the flash from the camera, right?

Green Day: Poison Shamrock - That had to have taken some serious time and aggro. I think I'd've left off the two at her neck, they look pasted on. Good work though.

Groo - I got one word for you. Ink. Inking the lines before scanning and coloring will get rid of the...bad line thing, but you'll probably still have to go over them and clean up when you color.

Aphrodite IX Headshot - Let's push for a little more. This looks good, I think you're up for more complex images. The hair is a little flourescent, I'd've maybe toned the color down just a bit.

Wonder Woman 1 Million Collaboration Piece - Mmm, I love the way everything curves and wraps around the underlying forms. The shading's great but I'm a little curious as to why only her breast is backlit. I didn't get 'glossy marble' for the skin until I read the description. The lighting on the costume appears much glossier than the lighting on the skin.

Green Day: Puny Clover! - Man, the Hulk really is just ridiculously big, isn't he? Amusing image and well done.

Green Day: LoSH Brainiac - Nicely done, I like your eye for detail, Kev. I think the costume...feels like it's missing something. It's just so plain. Maybe a seam where the color changes?

And we're done. That was pretty painless, wasn't it?

Kev, i would have chosen the ber story over the road accident story. the bear and ripped off leg would add a little dramtic flair, wouldn't it? heh heh. wow i can't remember when i last did a UIR.

Green Day! Green Lantern: Manga Style! by effektdmentality great attention to detail, very manga. i like the glow effects and the eyes. at first, i thought she was Jade.

Green Day: She Hulk by KLA 1 the costuming and skin tone are sweet. you could've added greener highlights and lowlights for the hair but that's just me. i like the make-up too.

Green Day: Poison Shamrock by Poison Ivy little miss ivy's up for some holiday mischief. i like the way you put some shadows on the clovers. the leprechaun is the gem of the piece!

Groo by Ecthelion i don't know how you composed this but i agree with Anyte. inking is good for an illustration if you wanna color it like they do in the funny books. this is a good rendition of Groo, though.

Aphrodite IX Headshot by catseye you've got a good command of the necessary coloring tools. the colors are not too saturated and the effect on the eyes is great. i suggest experimentation on a higher level like a half body manip.

Wonder Woman 1 Million mine. uh... as i said, i'm not really satisfied with this one.

Green Day: Puny Clover! by kev_incal hahaha nice one! big brute harasses tiny plant! nice facial expression!

Green Day: LoSH Brainiac by kev_incal this series is the reason why i am rethinking my own LOSH series. i wish i can get a hold of all of Kitson's designs for the legion. great costuming as always. i love love LOVE the backgrounds on the whole series! kudos!

thanks everyone for the input. Aside from the origin (which i made up on the fly), i think the manga GL would be my best made piece of the manga dc series. and yes, her hand does seem big to me too, now that you mention it. i guess i was just trying to emulate anime and manga that ephasize big hands and feet versus thinner/smaller bodies.

I couldn't add anything about any of these that has not been said in the UIRs. So, just a thanks to all for the reviews.
While I was still in PSP my She Hulk did look greener (hair included). I did not realize I had reduced the saturaton as much as this until after posting. Until then the hair was still more green than brown. Chalk that up to the oops category.
