superman teaser

I have had an idea for a teaser poster for a superman movie for years now.

superman stands facing the opposite way so his cape and the S sheild can be seen. His head is turned slightly to one side and facing slightly down but his face is in shadow.

there are only three thigns written on the poster

and below the year it will come out

what do you think? and more so do you think the movie should follow john byrne's man of steel miniseries and mix in parts from the first metallo story and superman for all seasons? I cant think of a better idea, warner bros basically has a ready made movie in man of steel if you take out the batman and bizarro issues and add in metallo instead.

I think there should be a trilogy, the first movie features luthor as main bad guy but metallo is the heavy.

the second movie features luthor again but also features brainiac

and the third features doomsday and either ends in a similar way to whatever happenned to the man of tomorrow or death of superman (the latter leaves it open for sequals in a way)

Movie #1: Crooks, hoodlums, etc. Slight Luthor.
Movie #2: Main Supervillain. Slight Luthor.
Movie #3: Luthor.

Yeah, I think you'll need the death and return story for doomsday to work.

Yeah, i think you're going to need the "death and return" storyline for Doomsday to work (well, work well anyway).

I would have to say I like beppo_the_super_chimp's order of movies. But supes would have to back at the end of the movie or just end with him just recently rejuvinated and show him on the ground starting to stand up but you can't really see him because he's in the shadows. Then you see some light shine onto the black costume. Superman wlks into the light and the light starts show him from feet to head but it only goes on the silver S and you don't see his face. Role credits.
