Personally, I'd enjoy seeing a young Barry Allen (Flash) and perhaps even Alan Scott as the original Green Lantern. I'd also like to see a young Bruce Wayne. I think most fans would love to see how Clark and Bruce meet as younger counterparts to one another. There'd be quite a bit of conflict between the two. You'd have to consider that Bruce would have more in common with Lex Luthor rather than Clark. You have to understand that Bruce and Lex are both millionaires and that they would, as such, travel in the same circles, be it at different times or together and that a chance encounter with one another would seem inevitable. I've also been toying with the idea of a meting between Clark and a few members of the Legion of Superheroes. That would be intersting. Another idea I've had is a Clark/ Superman from the future arriving in Smallville to give his younger self some advice, however crytic it may seem to the viewers. I've got more, but who would you like to see?

I don't know which superhero, but it would be nice to see someone like ALan Scott to0 show that there are superheros in the world and provide a role model for young Clark. If done right, it shouldn't seem bad.

I'd like to see Dr. Fate make an appearance, so they can introduce Clark's vulnerability to magic.
I'd also like to have J'onn J'onzz appear as a semi regular character. Kind of a mentor and friend. They do have a lot in common after all.
And I still think at some point the Green Arrow might show up. I keep thinking back to the first episode where Lionel was reading the story about how Oliver Queen had gone missing. Now that we've gotten to know the senior Luthor a little better I have to wonder if, in the Smallville universe, Lionel arranged for Oliver to disappear so that he could buy out his company.

I don't any of the people making the show know that, though.

Okay, anyone else like to see anyone guest appear on Smallville? Even in a cameo role? How about a young Billy Batson/ Captain Marvel? I think that'd be pretty cool. Plastic Man? Come on people!! There's got to be more you'd like to see in the way of guest heroes in Smallville!! Hell, even guest villains! How about Metallo? Or The Ultra Humanite? Dare I say, Darkseid??? No, I dare not! Too damn soon. Heh...
Hey, what if Clark were to stumble onto something involving the Eradicator??? You all know who or what the Eradicator is, right? If not, he/ it is the living emodiment of the knowledge of Krypton. It's sole desire is to rebuil Kryton on Earth. How do you think a young Clark would fare against such an adversary? Of course, the Eradicator would be a fully matured adult, but do you think Clark could withstand dealing with a creature of this magnitude? Think about it. The Eradicator is fully grown and therefore imbued with powers Clark has yet to discover he possesses... such as flight. We wouldn't put the Eradicator in a Superman costume or anything, but he'd wear some sort of jumpsuit and a cape. I don't know... what does everyone else think???

Ah, ionly vaugely knew who he was and he shot energy outta his palms. Now that you said that, then the crazy doctor guy that got zapped with the Kyrptonian knowlage and fought Clark reminds me even more of Eradicator. Guesswe could consider him an early alpha release of him.

Well, I think it would be pretty nice to see Brainiac in there. I haven't been following the TV series (as I've said in another topic) but it would be nice to see him pop up and say something like "Hey, I blew up Krypton, what are you going to do about it?". Or Mr. Mxyzptlk, one of my favorite Superman villains.

I've been dying to see Brainiac. Hell, I think he's a great villian for this show or a movie. For a while I was thinking Braniac was the computer in Kal's ship. We still ahven't seen hat happened to it, have we? Maybe that's still a possibility.

I think fans whould definently like to see bruce wayne but waner brothers won't let the producers use bruce wayne at least not yet.I like to see wonder woman aka diana as a teenager and kyle matter before he becomes the green lantern and captain marvel before he gets the powers of shazam.
and captain marvel before he gets the powers of shazam.
A lil 8 year old kid...boring.
Flash was thier with his powers and being a young crook is not boring.
Capt Mar-vell....is boring without the powers...is his name still Mar-vell? or was it changed? w/e.

Me, personally, I don't watch the show. However, and I don't know if this happened or not, I would like to see an Earth-2 Superman (like from Jeph Loeb's Superman/Batman comics). Now that is something I'd love to see.

"Captian" Mar-vell is Marvel's character.
'Captian Marvel' is, in DC terms, another name for Shazam. The latter is used more frequently to have some confusion die down.

Firestorm.
Or, at least a pre-Firestorm Ron Raymond.

Okay...looks like the new season spolier hints indicate Brainiac (James Masters?) and some character called Aquaman.
Aquaman...hmmm....
Well, if Kid Flash can't take off as a spinoff series....

Ok, guys. Smallville is full of crap. Brainiac might be intersting, as it turns out he's actually gonna be a professor first. (Seems announcing Marsters as Brainiac rather spoils the twist.)
Aquaman on the other hand. Wow. I know it's hard to do the character well and he so often gets turned really lame. Yet, how do you make Aquaman suck more? Well Smallville found a way.

Lex has hired a swim coach. He's surprised to find "A.C.," a 19-year old phenom from the Stanford swim team.
Thats it. They've been smoking too much Aqua-crack (http://www.spoil-sports.com/Aquaman.htm).

And here I thought I introduced fish sex (http://www.comics2film.com/DCG/DispArt.php3?f_id=13149&f_ssn=&f_fooble=24) to the Aquaman mythos. Oh well.

All I want to know is ...
When is Bruce Wayne showing up in SMALLVILLE?
They've only got one more season to do the inevitable meeting ... I refuse to believe that WB will allow 2 live-action versions of Superman (SMALLVILLE and SUPERMAN RETURNS in June 2006) to exist at the same time ...
I think from the BB version of Bruce at that age maybe there can be a connection with lex and him. And that can make Bruce visit smallville for busness reasons...or maybe Bruce is older than Clark and that can fix things up...I think this was already said. :?
PLEASE... no more cameos!!! Everyone and their grandmother in the DC universe has met and seen Clark Kent (before his glasses) save people and do super-stunts! Even I don't buy the notion that in a few years, everyone from Lex Luthor and Lois Lane to Perry White and Aquaman are suddenly going to get amnesia and not recognize that the guy with the big "S" on his circus costume is the same 6'2" stud who saved their hide a few years before.
Just give us good solid stories and we'll be happy. One cameo is cool, but 2 or 3 each season (with permanent ones for Lane and Luthor) not only kills the audiences' ability to suspend their disbelief (seriously, are THAT many people in the DC Universe going to pass through the same small Kansas town and hang out with the same farm kid?), but just smacks of desperation by the creators.
the guy with the big "S" on his circus costume
Nice description! :D
So it does make it wierd and unusual for cameos but sometimes fans just want thier fav DC characters to show up on tv in a younger age. Not aquaman type characters that have a big background and live in the water (while Kansas is in the middle of the counrty) but more like Flash that pick-pocket people and travels all over the place alot...I really liked that episode because I was excited about seeing the character I mostly only liked from the DC universe...well that what I got to say...
One wierd cameo would be a "from the future" character like the future superman to help Clark (this idea would destroy the show in my opinon). Or Superboy! ha!

The thing is they also WB-ize the characters so they appeal to fans of Dawson's Creek or Paris Hilton's The Simple Life. Maybe I should be glad the WB passed on Global Frequency.
Like I think I said before, my fromer roomate who hated the show said Brainiac would be some dreamy transfer student or something. Though he descibed more Mxy or Aquaman or half the lame half assed cameos, Braniac still comes too close. As nice as it would be to see Marsters in the role, I really doubt it will be handled well at all. Then again I've given up on this hot and cold show a long time ago.

Hey, did they do Bizzaro on Smallville yet?
I want to see them mess it up. Mess it up good!
Anyways Bizzarro or Bizarro or Bizzaro....(Must stay on the topic!!!) turned into a younger version clone of clark. I wish they did it. Lex doing some experimenting. Thinks clark would be a good solder and secretly clones him without clark knowin. This had to be done by now. It's WB we're talking about!

To cameo or not to cameo? That is the question.
Look, I'm all for cameos. All cameos, all the time, I say! Because this is NOT the one, true version of Superman or his pals. This is just another alternate version of the legend. Don't worry about the realism that when he becomes Superman everyone's gonna figure out his secret. They'll probably have some selective mass memory loss storyline to wrap things up (at least in Luthor's case ... otherwise there is NO WAY Lex doesn't figure out Superman's identity in a matter of minutes).
So relax, this isn't the REAL Superman. Just another intrepretation of it. Let them play with the legend as long as they don't totally defile it. And by the way, the thing with Clark having sex with Lana? Not the first time this has happened in Superman lore. Check SUPERMAN II. Another powerless Supes has premarital sex, this time with a chain-smoking Lois Lane. Face it, Supes just gets horny whenever he loses his powers. Established character trait. So ease off on the show.
Back to the cameos. Let's see, we've already had the Flash (who was a combination of Jay, Barry, Wally and Bart) last year and Aquaman this season. You know they're going to try to work in a young Bruce Wayne somehow, regardless of WB in-fighting.
You know, the Green Lantern Corp are probably around at this time ... maybe a young Hal Jordan ... or maybe veteran Alan Scott? Or even John Stewart and Guy Gardner? Or maybe all of them? Maybe have a new alien villian who comes to Smallville for refuge pursued by the interstellar police force that is the GLC. The alien seems desperate, and Clark grants him/her asylum at the Kent farm when the GLC show up, appearing like normal people. Clark and the GLC fight, and Clark realizes the alien he's harboring isn't some victim, but a criminal. The GLC arrest the criminal alien, but before hauling off for deep space, Clark has a word with one the GLs, who tell him something along the lines that someone with his powers of his level should be serving the greater good of the entire planet, instead of holing up in a backwater place like Smallville.
Wait, I didn't see seasons 2-4 ... did something like already happen in the show?
I would like to see robin aka dick grayson come to smallville he could be a teen and befriend clark. thinking smallville needs a hero and not knowing right away that clark is the hero in that town. here is a few lines that might make it work.
Clark:Who are you?
Dick "dressed as Robin":Robin.
Clark:What are you doing here?
Dick:I left Gotham to come here cause I heard that there is no hero here.
Clark:I am the hero here
Hmm...well DJAC, here's the thing about Robin in Smallville...if that will ever happen...
I don't think he'll wear the costume. And from all the cameos I haven't seen many comic book looking costumes on the show. In my vision of having Robin in the show...Hmmmm...Ok, how about he's a motorcyclist and comes to Smallville for a race and then yada yada yada Clark and Dick race...

For Dick to be Clark's age that would make Bruce several years older and already Batman. I would like to see Bruce on the show though.(a young world traveling Bruce)

Yeah, now when I think about it isn't Clark the same age as Bruce?

Yeah, within a year or two.

So that pretty much says "No." for Robin to be in the show. I wish they tried more to bring in Bruce instead of what he got now. Cyborg...If you can choose Bruce or Cyborg, which would you choose? I think Bruce would win that vote...wonder why they didn't try to get him on the show instead. :?
