Believe this one is going to be a Sun/Jincentric episode.

Finally. Finally!

Discuss!

And tivo'ers don't forget, it's likely to run over a little bit.

Ha. If you have true TIVO, it will record the extra three minutes! It's those neanderthals still using tapes that have to worry.:smirk:

I loooooooooove my TIVO. You can have my TIVO clicker when you pry it from my cold dead hands. Then you can put a TIVO in my coffin.

:D

Just kidding. I plan to be cremated, put the TIVO in the urn.:jump2:

I am too busy to post spoilers word for word so I'll just say that I've heard that there's a past love triangle for Jin/Sun that we'll find out about tonight.

can't comment - too busy crying over Sun & Jin and how they are both perfect and hawt etc....

Jin has really shown growth as a character in a way that is logical. It makes sense that he wouldn't want Sun going into the jungle alone - hell no one on the island should be anywhere by themselves.

Sun is going to start teaching Jin English which will definitely change the dynamics on the island, but not until next season.

Henry Gale is a serious mind****er, whether or not he is an other.

p.s. I hate this censor business. We are all adults here.

ps: I took out every censored word on the list a few weeks back. Last week, they re-appeared on the censor list. Someone else at the wheel must have wanted some words back into that list for their own reasons.

I missed the last 5 minutes of the show...so did they find the ballooooon?

Totally agree on the Sun-Jin story. Jin has really grown as a character and that was an emotional moment at the end where he accepted her pregnancy.

Awesome show.

No they didn't.

I think One Mr. Gale knows he is next to go at tribal Council and he is trying to break up the Jack/Locke alliance. I don't get what significance finding the balloon would hold. The others could easily fake that whole thing. I'm still not convinced that Gale is an other.

Am I the only one who was pissed that the translation of one of the lines the doctor spoke to Sun was "You're husband..."? That's just pathetic.

I caught that one too. And I'm thinking, the reason you can't have babies is because "you are husband" and you need someone with a womb and Jin doesn't have one? And if you are husband, that's a damn good tranny outfit.:smirk:

Synopsis: Jin and Sun argue over her working alone in the garden. Jin tears it up, Sun leaves in tears. She feels sick and asks Sawyer if he has a pregnancy test in his stash. She asks Kate to stay with her while she waits for the results: positive.

In flashback, Sun remembers how they were having trouble getting pregnant. Jin wanted to go to a specialist, she wasn't sure she wanted kids with him. They finally go and the doctor tells them Sun can't have children, even with surgery, because of endometrial scarring. Sun finds comfort meanwhile in her friendship with the hotel owner's son (whom she briefly dated before learning he had an American fiancee). He is teaching her English, but it doesn't seem any hanky panky is going on at first. When she tells him she can't conceive and is thinking of leaving Jin and going to America, he tells her not to run away, stay for him. (Fade to black, so we're still not sure about the hanky panky.) Later Sun is walking when the doctor drives by, stops, and tells her the problem is actually with Jin, but he was too afraid to tell "a man like that" he couldn't conceive.

Back on the island, Sun runs into Sawyer and Bernard, who congratulate him on becoming a dad, but he can't understand them. He replants the garden, and when Sun turns up he apologizes, says he needs her. She tells him she's pregnant; he is thrilled but then she tells him he is the one who couldn't impregnate her. She swears to him she never slept with another man; he proclaims it a miracle and they make up.

Meanwhile, Locke asks Ana Lucia to interrogate Henry Gale. AL is pissed Jack didn't tell her, but she manages to get Gale to draw a map to the balloon. She doesn't tell Locke or Jack about it; instead she asks Sayid to help her look for it. Charlie comes too. They get to the site and don't see anything right away. At the hatch, Jack lets Gale out to eat breakfast; he says something sinister about how if he were one of the Others, that map would be a setup.... <Boom. LOST. Fade to Black>

People on the Security System message board are blaming the captioning people for the network for bad closed captioning and saying it's not the fault of the show. Err...those subtitles are IN THE SHOW, not the closed caption text.

To be fair, there's some occasionally interesting stuff on that board.

Wow!! All the stuff to pissed off about in this ep and you focus on grammar. When they were "interrogating" Gale I was upset and the weak questions they asked him.

What can I say? I have my priorities.
My 2nd priority would be cutting off Gale's fingers one-by-one with a pair of wire cutters. I'd start out all menacing and then just clip one or two of his nails. Then once he thinks that's what I"m gonna do.....SNAP.

Note to self: if ever stranded with Jake on an island, don't go for the "I promise it is just a manicure" line....

DarkJedi

If you're stranded on a island with Jake, you have much more worrisome issues then that one, butthead. :D

Btw, that line from Ana was truly awesome last night because it pegs down those two guys being too busy having a testerone contest with each other.

"Jack and Locke....are too busy worrying about Locke and Jack."

I thought the Ep was decent. I think they will find a ballon, but I don't think it will mean Gale isn't one of THEM.

Adam54

Gale, regardless of his being an "other" or not, is shady as hell, and they're doing themselves a service keeping him locked in the hatch.

I can't help but see it from Henry's viewpoint. Let's assume that he is what he says he is (We already know from the preview that they find the balloon so that's a point in his favor.). He's been caught in a net, shot (yes, these were the actions of Rousseau but at this point he probably doesn't know that she's not one of them), imprisoned, and beaten. He's alone and unarmed. His only weapon is his brain. I'd certainly take every opotunity to screw with their heads.

The last minute of this episode set my hair on end. Just when I was starting to believe Henry.

Oh my gosh, I'm such an idiot. A huge, huge idiot. I just got it. Dorothy Gale from Kansas. Uncle Henry and Auntie Em. Uncle HERNY GALE. From KANSAS. And the Wizard found Oz in a balloon. I'm such a freaking moron for not catching that earlier. Someone smack me.
