it's a good shooter. I have played both versions and it's pretty much just straight up action. you can play it as a coop game on a lan. you can get thru it fairly quickly though....i blew thru it in a day.

it was just the first one. i've played the second one, but i lost interest. the fps market is pretty light right now....until half life 2, or doom3....nothing is really changing the genre. i've contemplated purchasing planetside to try it out...but i don't want to pay those monthly fees. i really can't think of a fps to recommend.
