since i hurt my back i've had much more time to get back on the PS2 and Gamecube. i would go up to blockbuster and rent a game take it home and it lock up on me, it was either dirty, scratched, etc.

i got tired of making extra trips so i saw a GameFly commercial and thought I would try them out. Basically they charge a monthly fee of $20 and you can rent 2 games at a time and they will mail them out to you with return envelopes. You can also put upcoming realeases in your queue and have them sent out to you when they come out, providing you have returned your other rentals you have out. Also if you want to buy a game you have sent to you, they offer competitive prices and if you keep the game they will then send you the original case, instructions, etc. And all of the games are in excellent condition, no scratches..no prints...nice clean game.

If your looking for a good rental service, I think Gamefly is the way to go. A new release comes out on Tuesday, I have it on Saturday. If you have the money and game addiction, it's a service worth checking out.

just a little heads up about the gamefly service. i've been using it since May, no complaints. they are offering brand new releases at pre-played prices. for example...i rented Halo2 the day it came out..shipped on Tuesday...I got it Thursday. Played it, decided to keep it a week later. My price, 37.99...with free shipping. MGS3....35.99, free shipping. yes, i do pay a monthly service fee so it's obviously off-setting itself. but at this time of the year, with all of the big games hitting the stores, it's a great way to try it out before you buy it.
