I saw the Hulk last weekend. I might write a review later, but for now there's some other issue that's come up. I was watching a documentary on the history of the Hulk, and it had some footage from the film. It showed the scene where Major Talbot is fighting Bruce Banner in that house. Iin the documentary, Banner says "You're making me angry - I don't think you're going to like me when I'm angry" and then throws Talbot.

Now in the version I saw in the cinema, Banner says "You're making me angry" and Talbot answers him "Oh, am I?" but then Banner starts crushing Talbot's hand. There was no "I don't think you're going to like me when I'm angry" line at all.

I get the feeling there are different versions being shown around. Which version did most people see, and why is there a different version shown in different places? http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/confused.gif

Secondly, that documentary says that Lou Ferrigno had 2 scenes, one with Stan Lee, and another with Eric Bana. Now I only saw one with Stan Lee. I don't recall any other one. Did people see anything different?

I've wondered if there were different versions myself because I noticed that line missing from the scene also. They used it in the trailer and in several commercials so I was very disappointed in the theaters when I didn't hear it until the end of the film.

Oh, and I only saw Lou in one scene too.

It's pretty common for scenes to end up in the trailer that are cut from the movie. The incident described above is one. I recall Daredevil trailers where, after the playground fight, Murdock watches Elektra get into limo and says "You've got a bodyguard" (or some such). Watching the DVD commentary right now and Johnson talks about that scene getting cut.

I think that's all you're seeing Welshie. Personally, I'm glad they cut it because, to me, it read kind of lame-o in the trailer.

The incident that always stands out in my mind is the trailer for Planet Of The Apes where Tim Roth has that great moment when he snarls into camera "Get me the spaceman!". Gutted when they dropeed that from the movie, cos if they had left it in it would have been the only good bit in it.

My version of HULK had the full line, then he crushes the hand, then he throws him out.

There WERE 2 lou ferrigno scenes in mine(maybe 3)one was with Stan Lee,in which Stan told him to raise the security level.

The 2nd was in front of Bruce's house,in which he anmd a nother gaurd drove a car up to the house.

That's my version. Now,to make sure, did everybody see the starfish scene?LOL!

PS when it showed a flashback to the ice cream place with Betty, did the flash pause? Our green flash paused.Same with the watch popping off scene. It paused when the watch went through the air.

Speaking of pants... anyone else see the version evryone's got online? I saw the film twice, so I don't feel bad having a d/l copy. I showed it to my friend who is but a humble starving art student who is saving money right now. Though he now regets seeing the copy I had. In some of the scenes Hulk is not fully renendered or done. He saw it at work and IMed me " i am blind" and "that green ass is forever burned into my cornia".
