Hye, it works in the DCG. I figured I could start one in another forum. Here is a place to post comments about the Hulk, but don't fit in another thread or deserver their own.
For example, last night I saw the movie.. in a dream. It had somehting to do with Hulk's son and time travel. Plus one of the things that got the Hulk mad was when he heard that Will Smith was making MiB 3 and adding a Rasta attitude. Well, at least the spcial effects for Hulk were cool. And now I know not to have the Kelbasa before bed.

I was thinking that if hulk was feelign self concious then he would get a made to measure suit...
but when he puts on the suit and it is fine he will only be good for as long as he is hulk... and when he goes back into banner it will no longer fit... which will make him angry, and you wont like it when he's angry,... so he will turn into the hulk again... and the suit will fit... groovy
where ddo those purple shorts come from?
and how come banner never woke up in only the trousers int he Tv series?
oh well... all questions for hulks tailor, is he around here?

A couple of weeks ago I had a dream that I was on vacation down in Mexico and the Hulk went on a rampage. The army tried to contain him using squirt guns and fire hoses, but it didn't do a whole lot of good. I watched the whole thing from high above, while sitting in a magic flying lawn chair.
Xenos, there's a Hulk novel with that plot. It's called What Savage Beast by Peter David. In it Betty gets pregnant and shortly after giving birth her son is kidnapped by The Maestro and taken forward through time. With Dr. Strange's help Hulk goes after him.
Soccerdude, from what I've heard they changed his name to David for the show because someone (probably the network) felt that the name Bruce wasn't manly enough. Of course if that was the problem I don't see why they didn't go with Robert considering it was part of his name in the comics.
Anyone remember how the Hulk used to love beans? I remember in a particular issue of the Defenders (where they fought the Mandrill), he went into a supermarket as the Hulk and bought a whole trolley load of tins of beans, foiled a few robbers, and then paid for the beans at the checkout till. Then at the end the team members had to eat beans for the rest of the week/ month, with the Hulk having the biggest bowl to himself, and remarking "beans are good!"

Well, I guess the previous movie with a superhero named Bruce (http://www.fanzing.com/images/imgs03/brobin.jpg) proves that theory correct.

LOL! I don't even remember seeing that image of Robin before. Why is "dickwing" doing his Uncle Sam impression in that picture anyway?

Being manly isn't easy when you have a pair of rubber nipples stuck to your chest, and someone keeps shoving a camera under your cape trying to get that perfect rubber ass shot.
Raarrghh!! You realise that here in the UK everyone has to wait a whole month before the Hulk comes out in the cinema?

It'll be on the internet by then, if it isn't on there already.

If you were Bruce Banner, wouldn't you wear pants that were ten sizes too big with a belt?
I realize that the Fantastic 4 engeneered their suits to compliment/adapt to their powers, but how do Hulk's pants stay on? His shirt rips off, and cotton stretched much more than denim...I realize it's an age old question, but they took soooooo much liberty with his size in the movie that it really erked me. Even my gf, who doesn't know spit about comics asked that ? as soon as the lights came on.

Me fail spelling? That's unpossible.

The movie people realized that, too, and were originally going to make him naked, but that would've been quite disgusting, so they put the pants back on him. They only stay on because of censorship reasons.

The New York Times has a REALLY amazing article up about Ang Lee and his feelings on Hulk, Marvel, and comics in general. He comes off as a very passionate man who feels strongly about comic books and what they hold. What is also interesting is that Lee was interested in another Marvel property before Hulk, but it was already taken. I suggest everybody read the article!

I'm going to see The Hulk tomorrow in the theaters for the first time. I decided to wait because I'll be damned if "Charlie's Hoes" takes the number 1 spot over the Hulk. Every clip I've seen of Full Throttle looks like pure feces. I think that movie will make shows like "She Spies" and "VIP" look like "24".

WELSHY!
You know something? I vaguely remember this now, now that you are bringing it up..... I had collected The Defenders from issues 1 thru, like..... 100 something, they were packed away over at my parent's house, and now I can't find 'em! I would LOVE to go back and find THAT particular item, I remember at the time thinking, "If he keeps eating MORE and MORE beans....OH MY GODD"!!
It'd be like a dynamite detonation!
Hulk's coming out in the UK on Friday. Just thought I'd mention. Now I can finally get to see the film.

Well I mentioned this in the DCG no topic thread, but that one was quickly closed: Has anyone thought that if you play the Incredible Hulk tv series theme tune on an accordion it sounds quite genuinely French?

I've always thought it sounds a little bit like the Godfather theme.
Well, it has to be played a little faster, and maybe imagine the Hulk with a handlebar moustache, blue stripey vest, beret, a string of onions and a bicycle. If it were played at the speed of the theme from 'Allo 'Allo, the Incredible Hulk would sound very French.
